"Pros: Once we checked in and assigned our room- third one we were shown, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was decent and good value. Location was good.
Cons: Mgr at reception first checked us in and then stated Agoda had no record of us! We had booked with Trip.com which he insisted was linked to Agoda. Suggested we cancel the booking and pay him! Eventually after speaking to his supervisor/ Agoda, things were assorted, but no apologies given.
We had booked a large room with city view. The first room we were shown had no outside window. The 2 nd a tiny 2 ft opening high up, small room. Third room better, a bit bigger and more pleasant.
We had to ask for toilet paper and a 2 nd towel. (These were supplied for the 2 nd night and our room cleaned.)
No hot water in the morning for shower, two people came to ‚fix‘ and eventually managed to run hot water in the sink , to fill bucket to pour water on ourselves.
The mattress had no cushioning whatever, and we slept poorly.
Definitely not a 3 star hotel. The outside of the hotel promises more than the inside delivers!"
