"Went for a vacation with my partner. The owner was so helpful to keep our luggage while waiting for check in at 3pm. And she did explain and show us where the toilet and shower room is. The room not so spacious. But can fit both of us and 2 large luggage. Train station just 1 min away from the hotel. Overall, I love to stay here. And look forward to stay here again :)"

"The room was small (as expected) but fine. The staff was friendly and very polite. There are no room cleaning if you staying couple of nights only, but for me that’s wasn’t a problem at all. You can take amenities near the front desk.

Boendet har en gemensam lounge och en 24-timmarsreception och kan även bistå med bagageförvaring.

"I stayed here for 4 nights and had a really good overall experience. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Dotonbori. You just need to cross the road to reach Shinsaibashi, which made shopping and exploring extremely easy. There are also multiple exits of Namba Station nearby, so transportation is very convenient.
The area is lively and full of food options, convenience stores, and shops, so everything you need is within walking distance. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels comfortable and a good place to rest after a long day out.
I really enjoyed my stay at Acro and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka."

"Hotel was very near to the train station , lawson convenient store. From the train station u just need to pass 1 traffic light and u are arrived. Hotel was super clean, tidy but the shower room and toilet was outside the room, located at the ground level, but itsokay, everything was fine ! The hotel also near to some attraction places, and still at a resonae price compared to others, Recommended!💯"

"Peaceful ambience. Good for overnight stay. Room was designed wisely with full space utilisation. Even though it feels and look small it’s actually spacious. Best location, 5 to 10 mins away from shinsaibashi towards dotonbori and namba station depending on how fast you walk. Surrounded with local food establishments, Lawson, 711, restaurants. Also super convenient as it’s close to Hommachi station. Last photo is the lobby toilet, so good."

"This place is incredibly convenient because it’s conveniently located right next to the train stations, making it an ideal base for exploring Osaka and Kyoto. The staff is friendly and the facilities are spotlessly clean. However, I must mention that the towels are quite small. If you’re not particularly fussy about towel size, it’s perfectly fine. But if you have thick and long hair like me, I highly recommend purchasing a towel from Daiso. 👍"

"This hotel is the best location, just besides the Shin-imamiya station, I can walk from the West exit gate to the Hotel within 2 minutes. The room is clean and good, the toilet is also very clean. The hotel staff are also good manner and well supportive."

1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture.
2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it.
3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki.
4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time.
5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train.
Cons:
1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there).
2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer.
3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance.
4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan.
5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk.
Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries.

DDarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed.
Let’s start with the positive aspects first:
The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy.
Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated.
Now, onto the things that bothered me:
First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant.
During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while.
That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well.
Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic.
Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm.
One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside.
I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

This place made me rethink the idea of capsule hotels! If you’re a solo traveler, this is an excellent choice - very affordable and right at the center of the action.
Rooms were a bit toasty, I would prefer them cooler. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to crank up the AC as it is centralized. As expected, it is a double decker and very compact, but it has enough space for a tall guy, I’m a short king so everything was great. Each capsule has a TV and enough sockets to charge your devices. Beds were alright. You’ll still have decent privacy despite the capsule set up.
This is a mostly self-service hotel. You take some of the amenities (toothbrushes, combs, etc) and they also provide you indoor clothes you can wear while inside the hotel and in the sauna, onsen and bathrooms. Towels are provided everyday or you can ask them at the counter. I like that they keep it very clean. They clean the public areas everyday.
The only downside is probably the space at the lockers, so you would need to manage your clothes, toiletries, etc very well especially when the luggages fill up the space.
The location was the best part of staying at this hotel. Right next to it was a 7-Eleven so you know you’re covered with everything you need. It’s a few minutes walk to the Namba MRT station. It’s very accessible and it’s at the heart of Osaka.
A pretty solid 4/5 for me. I will definitely stay again when I solo travel to Osaka!

FFrom the Moon to MarsStayed at Jakotel Namba and overall it’s a good budget option in a very convenient area. The biggest plus is the location — close to Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, and multiple train lines, so getting around Osaka is easy.
The pods are more spacious than a typical capsule, clean, and comfortable enough for a short stay. Common areas, toilets, and showers were generally well maintained. I also appreciated the simple extras like free tea/coffee and pajamas.
That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The hotel is fully self check-in, which is fine if you’re used to it, but may feel a bit confusing at first and there’s limited staff support. During busy hours, showers and bathrooms can get crowded, and some lockers/locks feel a bit finicky.
Overall, this is a good value-for-money stay if you’re a solo traveler or don’t need full hotel service. Not luxury, but clean, practical, and hard to beat for the location

The only thing I didn't like was that the only showers for so many people are located on the 1st floor and you have to go up and down with the elevator every time. The price during weekdays is very cheap for Japan

MMurahariFirst time in Osaka and Hotel Midosuji is conveniently located right next to Namba train stations for easy access to other locations. Strategically placed, step outside of property and you're already within minutes from Dotonbori shopping district. There's an in house onsen for both men and women on separate floors. The room is clean and simple with all the basic amenities. Will stay here for future visits.

HHotchocho3Guest House B is a bit of a walk from Namba Station, but I would still prefer staying here again. The hostel is very clean, well maintained, and organized, with everything provided — from toiletries and towels to practical amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, and even free coffee and water. I also really appreciated the women-only dormitory, which felt safe and comfortable.
One thing to take note of is that cleaning starts daily at 10am and lasts until around 3pm, which means you’ll need to be up early if you want to shower or use the facilities before then. The cleaner also mistakenly knocked on a few guests’ doors before their checkout time, though this was a small issue compared to the overall quality of the stay. All in all, I found it a convenient and comfortable place and would happily stay here again.

TTunika MakhoniAmazing hostel! Very clean, nice staff. Free WiFi ! Was surprised by the fridge and whole kitchen free to use for those who stay. When you are not a tourist and need a place to stay and save up some money by ”cooking at home” it is sooooo handy! Also, loved the design of the place. My only concern was a horribly hard pillow, and even tho I have stayed only for 3 nights - my neck hurt like no joke. Of course, someone may like it, but for me it was a nightmare. Other than that - have nothing to brag about! Highly recommend.
