I stayed in a capsule in the dormitory on the 3rd floor of the hotel, where self check-in facilities are located. I believe there are family units or private rooms on other floors of the hotel.
+ Very good location. Less than 5 minutes walk from nearest subway. Subway journey about 5 minutes from central Odori Station.
+ Very comfortable beds and good quality linen and pillows. I slept very well during my two nights there.
+ Very good and clean communal facilities - high quality furniture, spacious bathrooms (a lot better than the price suggests).
+ Self check-in was easy (apart from the lift, see below).
- I booked my accommodation through Trip.com. That meant I did not receive an email from the hotel with the code to activate the lift (or even know that I needed a code!). Thankfully, a lady put in the code for me to take me to the 3rd floor so I could check in, otherwise I would have been stuck with no access to the hotel. MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE THE CODE TO THE LIFT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE.
- There are no cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery or fridge in the kitchen on the 3rd floor where the dormitories are located.
I would happily stay here again for the money, now I know the downsides I have written above so that I can plan accordingly."

"The staff were all very nice, good, n professional. They never missed to wish me good morning, thank you, and good night everyday. The staff also kept saying sorry sorry sorry when i came earlier than check in time. The hotel was very clean, complete amenities, and located in a quite strategic location. "Пожалуй, самый приятный отель по соотношению цена-качество в нашем путешествии с севера Японии в Токио. Все чисто, в опрятном состоянии, большие и удобные кровати, в номере достаточно места. Классное и уютное лобби, в зоне которого можно играть в настольные игры, выпивать в баре.
Завтрак не шведский стол - на гостя подаётся бутерброд с жареным яйцом и беконом, лёгкий салат и напиток. Завтрак довольно небольшой, но все равно был приятнее шведского стола в некоторых других отелях.
С радостью остановился бы тут и в следующий раз, если ещё буду в Саппоро."

"This was rather far away from the Sapporo station, I think it took me about 10-15 minutes to walk over with my luggage and all. With it being a hostel, there's not much to expect, you pretty much get what you paid for. Towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush / toothpaste were provided. I only wished that the other travellers would turn off the lights when it's bedtime. Otherwise, the stay was pretty good and I had no other issues."

"Checked in on their official opening day and was treated with some surprises. Overall the hotel was great. Uses self check-in which for foreigners, actually still need some helps. Room is spacious, and amenities are good. multiple AC outlets and USB C charging ports available in the room. Something that is hard to get in most hotels, and its great when you have 2 persons in the room needing to charge all their digital gadgets.
only gripe is toilet partition is wood and when some one poops at night and draws the toilet paper, it makes a booming thunderous noise that can be heard outside the room and wakes up light sleepers 😜
Breakfast is great though a bit pricey. But the settings in dining is comfortable with Japanese books to browse."

WWanLing1005I had a wonderful stay at Pension Setsurin! The tatami room was an amazing and authentic experience, making my trip truly special. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, even asking about food sensitivities to accommodate my breakfast, which I really appreciated.
The breakfast is definitely worth trying—it’s rich, diverse, and full of traditional Japanese flavors. There’s even anime playing during breakfast, which adds a fun cultural touch to the experience.
All toiletries were fully provided, so I didn’t need to bring anything extra. I stayed on the second floor, so just keep in mind you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs.
A special thank you to the host for going the extra mile—when I checked out, they even helped clear the snow off my car, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend Pension Setsurin for anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay!

MMoon RockThis place is value for money. With a large public bath and sauna area ideal for the winter climate, it is such a big deal. There’s also a restaurant inside that offers an affordable meal, but it is only open from the afternoon to midnight. You can stay at the hostel the whole day if you want. And one of the things I like about this hostel is the view from the outside, where you can see streetcars passing by. Amenities are on point. Overall, the location, amenities, and cost are advantages of this hotel.

GGästanvändareI had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Potmum. The location is convenient, within walking distance to Odori Park and Sapporo Station, making it easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is quiet, which was great after a long day out.
The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Although not very large (typical Japan size), the layout was practical and comfortable. The bed was firm and provided a good night’s sleep.
Staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. Check-in and check-out were smooth.
Overall, it offers very good value for money in Sapporo. I would recommend it to travellers looking for a clean, comfortable stay in a convenient yet peaceful area.

GGästanvändareIncredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience.

CCatty travelersThey gave me a room with a superb nice view 😁. The room and bathroom are quite packed but you will be good even for 2 adults in the room since it comes with reasonable price. Only 2 blocks away from the market, malls, susukino subway and food with a super cozy environment. Complete amenities and they change the towel everyday if you need. Unlimited coffee, juice, croissant and bread for breakfast which enough for me. Helpful and nice front officer. Only maybe you can add more time for the check out until 11am. Overall I really have a zuper pleasant stay here

BbobbiipinNice and cosy hostel in convenient location, not too far from Nijo market and Susukino. There were convenient stores and coin laundry nearby as well. Bed was snuggly and comfortable although it was a shared room. Having bar downstairs was both a benefit and drawback. It was convenient to get food & drink after a long day travelling and you don't want to leave for anywhere else, and their bar has great selection of drinks. However, the sound from the bar can be loud so earplugs is highly recommended to ensure a good night sleep. The bar area is also a smoking zone as well so even though the dorm is strictly non-smoking, the smell might still bother you if you're sensitive. Overall I think it's a not bad value for what you pay for, and great if you want a bit more lively hostel rather than quiet place.

Iian duenascon: no free amenities (i knew beforehand, i'm just pointing it out)
pro: the nightly rate is very cheap, especially if you compare it to hostel/hotels in central sapporo during winter festival
con: far from sapporo city center. it takes an hour more or less. also, be ready to add budget for bus rides (550 yen from hostel to sapporo station)
pro: there are restaurants, ramen shops, supermarkets, 100 yen shop which are just 1 bus ride away (max 30 minutes) there is also a skii resort (fu's snow area) nearby.
con: i just wish they install additional heaters in the common area. also, the hot water on the sink stopped running which was inconvenient
pro: i had a comfortable stay. the other guests who stayed at this hostel were quiet. my roommates were japanese, korean and chinese and they were very nice.
in conclusion, i chose this hostel because the price gap between hostels in sapporo city center and this hotel was huge. even with the additional bus fare, it was still much cheaper to stay here.

GGästanvändareLocation is great. Close to nakajjma koen subway, 3 stops away from sapporo station subway. From airport, if by bus, there is airport bus that requires additional 13 minutes walk from bus stop to hotel. Definitely not recommended for those with heavy luggage with slippery/thick snow, to walk that far. It feels like 1 hour and risk of falling.

Communication F2F was tricky, as using lots of google translate.Messages through tips, take a while for them to reply.
Microwave at lobby and level 2.
Extra amenities can pick up by yourself at lobby (hair brush, towels, razor, cotton buds)
Washing machine at level 2 (5 kg load - 300 yen for 30 min), but dryer not working at all (100 yen for 30 min)
Overall, if you just need place to sleep,not too fancy, this is great place to stay

DDevendra NI had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Sapporo. They kindly allowed me an early check-in, which made my trip so much more comfortable and stress-free.
The interior design is beautiful and modern, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the human-less (self) check-in system — it was smooth, quick, and very convenient.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing jacuzzi bathtub. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.
Overall, this was one of my best stays in Sapporo. Highly recommended!

Vi hade en trevlig vistelse.Faciliteterna var bra och platsen var bekväm.Vi njöt särskilt av örnen, som var mycket avslappnande efter en lång dag.
En sak att notera är platsen 🙂it är inte mycket bekvämt utan en bil, så jag rekommenderar att köra.Om du har en bil, då är allt bra och lätt att komma runt.
Tjänsten var anständig i allmänhet, och allt gick ganska smidigt.Det finns fortfarande utrymme för förbättring, men det var en bra upplevelse och värt priset.
Jag skulle överväga att stanna igen.
