Rooms and toilets are clean, they have soaps/shampoo in showers and gives towels to you. They have ok breakfast also. Bed are with curtains and space for luggage under bed with electronic key. Location is perfect. Just in the center and walking distance from central train station .People work there are friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if i come again!

Super great hostel! Loved it very much. The location of the hostel is really convenient and you could basically go to major attractions in Amsterdam by walking for a few minutes like the red light district, the Dam square and more importantly the Central station. Though it is a large room that has quite a number of residents, everyone respected each other’s privacy and they did not make loud noises. The receptionists were super nice and helpful and they spoke good English. I would definitely recommend this place to y’all.

The location is great, right in downtown and very convenient walking around in the center of Amsterdam. Room was especially small, not a big hotel, think they gave me their smallest room with a view of the internal air-well in the basement. The room was not even big enough to open up my luggage completely so I had to unpack out a few clothing as I was staying there for a few nights and luckily able to store my closed luggage beneath the bed. Toilet was small but looked as if it was recently upgraded in the last few years, it looked fairly new although there were some drain flies flying around in the toilet and could have been cleaned or exterminated better. Bed was surprisingly a double for such a small room and was comfortable enough. I had an issue with the receptionist opening my room door without knocking at all while I was stark naked and about to head into the toilet for a shower. Did not think that it was professional no matter the reason for doing so - apparently she was confused and open up the wrong door. Knocking on door and waiting for an answer should be a universal practice by all hospitality staff across any hospitality properties. Room was expensive for the size but it was centrally located and comfortable enough.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for couples. The bed is TINY and we had to sleep top and tail to fit in the bed. Loads of stag groups causing carnage and shouting inappropriate comments to passers by. The bar downstairs is nice, but hotel staff are a bit dismissive. The shower steam set off our alarm in the room and the lady from the desk was outside our room banging on the door in seconds. She stormed in and I explained what happened and she didn’t believe me and took it upon herself to check the shower room.. made us feel uncomfortable as the whole hotel smelt like **** so other people were clearly smoking inside! The location is great if you want to be in the heart of Amsterdam, it’s 2 streets from the red light (make of that what you will). We wouldn’t stay again, we prefer to stay in a further out hotel and commute into the centre by tram.

Everything was okay except, 1. In the bathroom the normal water shower didn't work ( the normal water handle to be rotated was stuck) 2. In the shower hot water was too hot as it couldn't be mixed with cold water. 3. Wish there was someone the desk for early check in. 4. The girl at the counter doesn't care much about the job, my room was 6 which is on the 2nd floor but she said 4th floor.

Vi hade varit riktigt oroliga efter att ha betalat detta hotell i förväg och sedan läst dåliga recensioner som fick oss att övertyga oss om att vi skulle behöva bära plastdräkter under hela besöket, så jag tänkte att jag skulle ge min recension baserat på de problem vi hade läst, för att försöka och var hjälpsam! några av sakerna var sant, lakanen lossnade från sängen på min men jag vickar men mina vänner stannade båda på sina sängar. superirriterande men jag satte bara på den igen och du kan alltid slänga ditt skydd över det istället och be om ett annat. Lyckligtvis stötte vi inte på de vägglöss som folk nämnde!, katten verkade glad och inte riden på loppor... men rummet var tillräckligt rent, ingen uppenbar mögel. Sängarna var tillräckligt bekväma. Badrummet var rent och ganska trevligt Det var inte stort men hade gott om plats för våra saker i trebäddsrummet. Det är en gammal byggnad med smala blåsiga trappor. Jag är glad att hissen fungerade. det är inte en relax och sitta på hela dagen hotell...det är en plats att sova, duscha...ladda telefonen och förvara dina tillhörigheter. Kaffemaskinen var bra så långt som grundläggande går. Personalen var bra Det fanns en deposition på femtio euro på skrivbordet, vi bad bara om ett kvitto efter andra saker som nämns i recensioner och fick en skriftlig utan problem när vi lämnade. Vi erbjöds en gratis städningsdag eftersom vi stannade 4 nätter men valde att inte använda den på grund av stöld som nämns i recensioner. . Vi bodde på huvudhotellet så jag vet inte om alla dåliga recensioner kom från den andra eller om vi bara hade tur med vårt rum men vi hade inga problem, och när jag gick och prasslade ner innan timmar och letade efter kaffe så hjälpte killen mig innan receptionen öppnade. Det är inget paradis för en plats, det finns märken på väggarna men svagt... om du är noga är det inte platsen för dig men för priset och platsen, vi verkligen inte emot det. The hotel is one star itself with no lift. One has to carry luggage upstairs at lease one level (to level 1) or to level 3 with steep stairs. The very good part is location. The breakfast is so so and the coffee is ok.

If you want a workout before staying this is a must visit the stairs are a nice way to stretch the legs before a busy day traveling we booked the balcony room and was a nice touch to the stay could do with some finishing details proper coffee machine and tables but if u want just a place to stay and balcony to chill out in this is a ideal spot and fairly cheap stay. Was perfect for what we needed and slept like a long all night

Enjoyed my stay, simple and clean enough. Just note there are 2 flight of stairs and it may be a hassle for travellers with heavy luggage. The service staff was nice to help me with my luggage and I gave a tip as a thank you gesture. :)
