Rebbenesøya is an island at the far end of the sea gap with fantastic nature and a rich wildlife. There are approximately 50 permanent residents on the island in addition to many cabins/holiday homes. Several daily ferry connections (Mikkelvik – Bromnes) make the island easily accessible by car, 1 h 45 min journey time by car including ferry from Tromsø airport. Daily bus connection on weekdays. The 45 m2 cabin was built in 2011 and has two bedrooms, a living room with an open kitchen and a large loft accessible by loft stairs.
