"I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport. Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues."

"The room was so clean and smelled fresh when we entered. The management was also responsive even tho we only communicated thru email. The unit is complete with utensils, kitchen appliances and cooking equipments, they even have hair dryer and automatic washing machine. Its so convenient! No need to ask for a room card or key (which I find very incovenient) because the locking mechanism is electronic. And the best thing in this accomodation is that they have hot shower, perfect for a cold night. Its a 10/10 overall!. Highly recommend this place. Side note: Drinking water can be bought at the grocery adjacent to the main lobby."

"Well ok naman yung room, actually mas maayos sya kesa dati kasi nung una book namin hindi ganun kaayos yung room na binigay sa'min. But the only one problem is dinig mo yung galing labas so if matutulog ka ng Hapon or gabi medyo hindi ka makakatulog ng maayos dahil sa ingay galing labas, but it's ok na din para sa mga naghahanap ng murang Hotel ok na sya."

Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay, and I really appreciated the comfortable bed after a long day. One of the best features of the hotel is its location. It is conveniently situated near major roads, restaurants, and shopping areas like MOA, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel also offers nice facilities such as a rooftop restaurant, bar, and even a KTV area, which added to the overall experience. Despite being close to busy areas, the rooms were quiet, allowing for a relaxing stay. Overall, Luna Hotel offers excellent value for money. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and comfortable place with friendly service. I would definitely stay here again."
