"Honestly for the price I paid I couldn’t ask for more! The room was clean and modern, the parking was free, location was right next to the park, no loud cars at night, great and friendly staff, and free breakfast! Would definitely stay again."

"This hotel is great for it's proximity to Tampa airport. The shuttle service is free and easy to find within the airport too. We arrived later in the evening and I think a few things had been going on in the hotel (or with guests) as the reception staff were a little preoccupied and not as friendly as we'd expected, but it was fine, we got into our room which was a good size, clean and we had a view of Tampa airport runways. We could hear the odd plane take off / land, but the sound did not bother us. The weather had dropped and wasn't great the weekend we stayed so we didn't get a chance to try out the small pool. World of Beer is next door (walking) - this was great to go to for a burger in the evening as it didn't look like the hotel did food other than breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style with a few hot items (they were lukewarm) which changed over the couple of days we were there. The waffles were great! The only downside to breakfast was that it was paper plates and plastic cutlery, but the food itself was nice. The coffee pots were available all the time in the hotel, not just at breakfast - this was great to grab a quick fix anytime. If I needed a hotel for the airport I would stay here again or if I had access to a car, but we did not have a car, and Lyft / Uber's in and out of downtown Tampa could become expensive if you did that a couple of times a day. We stayed here before getting on our Carnival Cruise from Channelside, Tampa. If we came again to cruise, I'd probably pay the extra and stay in downtown to be closer, but if we had a car to travel around, I'd definitely stay at the Hampton Inn, Avion Park as it was in a great location to tour from."

"Great spot, but the ghetto fence around the facility is... ghetto. Stephanie at reception was especially helpful. I ate at the IHOP next door and it was great. I don't know why another reviewer said to avoid it."

"You get what you pay for, the staff were friendly and location was great (right by the highway exit to get to everything around, across the street from the fairgrounds) but the cleanliness was awful. The first room they gave us had stains all on the walls, dirty bathroom, really bad patches in the walls and what appeared to be mildew on the curtain. We went to the front desk and requested a new room due to cleanliness. The second room wasn’t immaculate but was much cleaner, didn’t have the microwave and refrigerator which was fine since we were only staying for the weekend. The man upfront was nice and apologized, he mentioned that was the last room available for the selection we made."

"Upon entering the room it was noticed that there were spots on the floor and the floor was sticky in the main walkway. So, we had the spend a towel on wiping up the sticky off the floor. Otherwise the stay was good and the staff were pleasant. No hot tub. Outdoor non heated pool. We were there in winter. Plenty of choices for dining nearby. Next door to Busch Gardens. I felt I was in a safe area. A pleasant stay over all."

"Everything was perfect location was great and quiet The outside was very well-kept. The rooms were very clean. The price was outstanding. It wasn’t very busy in the staff was amazing 10 out of 10. We will be back in close to everything."

"I realize that different people have different opinions to the same experiences. I found the room to be very clean and the breakfast to be good. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get into my room when I arrived. There were lots of people in the lobby who were waiting for rooms to be cleaned. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel."

"It’s okay, all you need for short stay and close to the airport. There are lots of places to buy food and drinks around. Just across the street is a 24/7 gas station so it’s very convenient. Easy to find too!"
