"The hotel has lively and relaxing vibes. The room is smaller than expected but comfortable for two people. Clean and quiet. There’s also a swimming pool and gym available. The convenient store on the ground floor is perfect to get some drinks and snacks for the night. The location is great, about a 10-minute Uber ride or a 30-minute walk to Dubai Mall. It’s a good spot for a layover after a long flight."

"Stayed at Rove La Mer Beach for a short staycation in early April 2026 and overall had a really positive experience. The hotel has a fun, colourful, and relaxed beachfront vibe, and the location within the La Mer/J1 development works well, especially with several great beach clubs nearby. It feels like a proper beach destination without being a luxury property. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is probably the main trade-off, but they are well designed and I did appreciate that the bathroom is fully separate from the sleeping area (not always the case in newer hotels). Amenities are fairly basic, with a few things like dental kits and slippers only provided on request, and some small touches missing such as in-room tissues or moisturiser. Nothing major, just worth noting. The hotel’s main dining option is a casual restaurant with indoor and terrace seating, plus a beach bar during the day. One thing to be aware of is that the building’s orientation means the pool and terrace areas fall into shade from mid-afternoon, which may or may not suit you depending on what you’re after. There’s also a convenient on-site shop for essentials, which is useful given the limited nearby retail options at the moment. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Check-in and check-out were both quick despite being busy, and staff were helpful without being overbearing. The overall crowd during my stay was mostly families and groups of friends rather than couples, so it’s not particularly a romantic-style hotel. Overall, it’s a well-run, good-value stay with a strong lifestyle vibe. While the rooms are compact, the atmosphere, location, and pricing make it an easy recommendation for a casual Dubai staycation."

"Lovely and modern hotel would recommend and stay here again, however when I arrived I wasn’t aware the hotel name had changed which caused abit confusion with taxi drivers many times. Bar/restaurant very good plenty of choice and good deals. Pool area only gets sun for so many hours & the view is alot of construction however it is Dubai so I was expecting that. They offer free shuttle bus services to certain places which is great. The staff were all very helpful however we did feel we had to keep asking for fresh towels & for things we had already ordered during our times in restaurant"

"Sammantaget är allt mycket bra, och hotellets läge är utmärkt. Lobbyn, men särskilt väntrummet, tenderar att vara ganska trångt för det mesta, och det syns ofta icke-gäster som sitter eller vilar där. Hotellet har också ett stort disco, vilket gör området livligare men ibland bidrar till publiken på kvällarna. Å andra sidan är hotellets övre våningar lugna och bekväma, vilket ger en avkopplande atmosfär för gästerna. Hotellpersonalen, särskilt städarna, är extremt professionella, vänliga och uppmärksamma. Deras service bidrar verkligen till den övergripande positiva upplevelsen."

"Good: a great option as its on the affordable side for the region. Large room with a large bed. Clean hotel with excellent staff who are very attentive. Located next to 2 supermarkets, one with a very well priced eatery so you can get food made on the spot for cheap. They have a partnership with Cove Beach, which is great - they will pick you up with a buggy and you can chill at a beautiful beach club any day you want. There is a pool upstairs too which you can access by speaking to reception. Also have partnership with the ufc gym for those wanting a proper workout. Delicious lemonades available for free every day next to reception. Bad: bathroom rim would overflow due to incompatible shower head so the entire bathroom floor would be flooded with every shower. Feather pillows? Smell bad and should probably changed. The hotel should have a shuttle service as it's quite car from the metro and main area of the marina. TV needs to be fixed - audio didn't align with the video, and often the sound was too great for background music and not good for the speaking parts. No one mentioned the hot water button so it was a bit annoying trying to understand why there was no hot water."

"I just spent three nights and two days at this hotel, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice for my first trip to Dubai! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The hotel has everything you could need: a 24/7 supermarket, a restaurant, game rooms, a gym that’s open all the time, and an outdoor pool that’s available from 8 AM to 10 PM.  One of the best features is the shuttle service that takes you to the metro station, Kite Beach, and the Dubai Mall. It made getting around so much easier than dealing with taxis! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay at a ROVE hotel again on my next visit to Dubai!"
