Nice hotel overall, enjoyed walking around the Rocks. But it’s very hilly and the Wynyard station is WAY MORE ACCESSIBLE than Circular Quay. Still, had to walk ~10min. There’s a nice rooftop view and bar. My room was right next to the bar where people talked loudly and played music, but the soundproofing is great, so it didn’t bother me. My roommates didn’t want to open windows at night and it was impossible to use the AC, so it felt extremely stuffy inside. I also previously stayed in a Japanese hostel, and I really liked the idea of separating storage and bathroom from a sleeping area there. In this hostel, if neighbours want to find something in their suitcase, it’s very noisy. Doors are noisy too and it’s impossible to close them quietly. Nice restaurant area, very spacious and there’s also the kitchen where you can cook/store food in a fridge. The door key can be added to Apple Wallet so it was very convenient.

I never disappointed to stay with them either short stay or long stay. The staff are amazing even a small team and willing to help and look after your needs eg  suitcase when u are not  be able to check in or wait for the room to turn down.  The food are great or have more variety with western cuisine and blend with Asian style cuisine as is combination of the menu and of course pasta was great as it was a simple but is still maintain and old fashion style in sauce like you cooked on your own home style .  The bar is great as always full and people always giggling and mingle or they watch me what 🙀 I am up to late night but I do an expirement in food and beverage as a food science and my night is like an owes or have less sleep but be able to focus in a longer hour and not too tired when I got up or even just 3-4 hrs sleep and made me work like a machine shhhh is not rice .. but is PepT instead and I never aging and still look younger and beautiful with different personality when I walk out from the door to door or one 🚪 close and other door 🚪 open like switch on swop a soul as the soul traps inside the dead body .

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Das Hotel befindet sich über dem Pub, der auch ab nachmittags sehr gut besucht ist. Es gibt dort sonntags auch Livemusik bis ca 21 Uhr abends. Alles vollkommen in Ordnung, wenn man nicht gerade Zimmer 10 neben der Waschmaschine/Trockner hat und neben der Lüftung schläft. Auch wenn ab 21 Uhr trocknen und waschen nicht erlaubt ist,störte es sehr. Die Hotelzimmer gehen nach hinten raus,so hat man morgens leider ebenso den Lärm der Ladezone vom Supermarkt. Positiv war,dass das Zimmer in einem modernen Zustand war und die Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett waren. Der Strand ist fußläufig zehn Minuten entfernt.

Great staff and very attentive to some issues we had with the room at the beginning and everything went well ….until …. At 12 midnight we woke up with excruciating screams of a woman (drunk? **************? Echoing in the car yard , Banging on our and other doors and cars using F words …running around like a mad.. then I heard One of the guests yelling shut the…up then he called the pub security and they came to trying to calm the woman she wouldn’t stop and the man next door was very angry yelling at her to shut up… after 15-20 min security and one of the night staff escorted the woman who stayed next door to us, she drove off when still screaming and constantly horning her car After she left I opened the door very shaky and spoke to the staff and advised her how stressful and scared I was about the situation waling up with this noise. Then i checked our car to see if it was damaged or not, luckily wasn’t. She said she will get her manager to call me on Monday to refund or work something out (a free room next time, etc) she said the same thing to the man who was next door and upset about the situation Absolute NIGHTMARE absolutely!!!! Staff are really nice though. They tried their very best.

Room was neat. Bathrooms could use a bit of a touch up. Also need an exhaust fan...got steamy in there. Kitchen was nice could do with a few more cup etc. Overall a good place to stay. 😁

Stayed at the Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour for 7 nights. While the location is excellent — just a short walk to Darling Harbour and the ICC Convention Centre — the overall experience was underwhelming. Check-in wasn’t a great start, as the front desk staff member who assisted me was quite grumpy and unwelcoming. Breakfast was the same every morning with a very limited selection, which got boring quickly. The room was clean but had several issues: the shower was hard to adjust, constantly swinging between too hot or too cold, and the walls were thin, so I could clearly hear noise from the neighbouring rooms. The convenient location is definitely a plus, but overall the stay did not feel like good value for money.

I like the place in general. Location is good, check-in and check-out are easy. It is near to public transportation, from Convention station like 5 min walking. I stayed in the only female room, and it was very quiet at night, so I had a good sleep. The nice thing for me is breakfast and dinner. Luggage storage is also possible, so all was good.

We booked this accommodation due to its proximity to a nearby stadium venue, where we were going to in the evening. We were advised by ”in the know friend” that the overall area is not the kind you want to be out socially alone in after dark hours. This was evident, as 2 Police officers were in the sporting club venue, as we arrived back around midnight, looking for a person of interest. This was of no concern to us, we were not asked questions by the police, It's just that the police had the only staff working that night, attending to their needs. As part of the accommodation offer, we were generously offered a free drink of wine or beer. We were looking to have a drink before retiring to our rooms, so the staff were caught up with the police officers. My group did to other things, like checked out the TAB and seating in the bar area while waited. ( all very clean & tidy btw) We were eventually attended to and we move on, No worries there, my comments are just to highlight the overall societal concerns of Greenacres area after dark, as we could briefly hear the conversations and requests between the police and staff. Nevertheless. just speaking about the accomodation, my room was very clean & tidy, I appreciated the air conditioner being on already, as I entered the room. I had all the basic necessities that I needed: towel, fridge, kettle etc. The bathroom & toilets were shared, it was disappointing to see one that in one of the two toilets available, had broken seat that wasn't hinged to the toilet (it looked untidy and it was unknown for how long the seat has been broken). Overall I was very comfortable, i felt safe, I had a great sleep. The next morning, I took advantage of the 2 minute walk to the nearby supermarket for some groceries, the Sunday morning staff all greeted me with a ”good morning,” which was pleasant to hear and made me smile. Returning items to the fridge in my room, I then went back out for a walk lovely walk in the sunshine along the shopping strip, for fresh coffee & food from one of the many family run bakeries just 1 minute down the street from the accommodation. Overall i had a nice pleasant experience!

Awesome staff, so close to everything, laundromat across the road as a winner for me, gym 2 minutes walk shops 5 minutes walk, stayed for 3 weeks bed was nice and comfortable air conditioning just right, absolutely  amazing

The staff was really nice! Room was clean and the cleaning staff was over the top perfect 👍 hotel is right by the train station and by a big shopping centre. The beer downstairs in the pub ist also great 👍
