Hotel was in a great location and just outside the grand place and center square, walking distance of about 8-10mins. I walked everywhere from this location and was convenient with subway tram nearby and easy access to and from the central station. The hotel foyer and entrance was large and welcoming, service staff were helpful, there was also a gym on premise. The hotel room was a little dated and old although fairly large. The bathroom was fairly old and could need an upgrade soon although was functional and clean. The door and walls were thin and I could hear the doors slamming all the time (from guests coming in and out of their rooms) at all hours and in the morning, I got woken up by the cleaning lady vacuuming and always hitting the sides of the wall which was a little irritating. On one of the late evenings, I could hear the couple in the next room ****** *** as she was ******* ******. So yes, the walls/ceiling are thin.

The hotel itself is pretty nice. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast was nice too. Brussels as a city is not something I enjoyed- there were lots of homeless people around the hotel at night time. At a point while coming from station to the hotel at night, I felt like I might get mugged. Nothing against the hotel though - the hotel is great.

I had an excellent short stay at the B&B Hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast with yogurts, eggs, croissants and some vegetables, clean room and coffee facilities at the end of the hall on every floor. The mattress are quite firm (I say this having and extra firm mattress at home). The doors slam shut if not guided, so you might want to arm yourself with some earplugs against potential inconsiderate neighbours. I recommend staying here if you want to be in the quiet Ixelles area.

Just a place you need in the heart of the city that’s cheap for 1 night. Could have done with a bit more of a clean but it was quiet, dark and just what we needed for a night stay. There was construction going on next door but that didn’t really affect us. The team were accommodating. My only bug was having to pay €5 for luggage storage after staying there for a couple hours but I suppose the hotel was cheap enough. The food location right next door (My Tannour - Wolf) was fantastic!

The staff are so attentive and friendly, you'd think they mistook you for royalty. They even helped us with directions, dining recommendations, and were quick with extra towels—no need to resort to using the hand towels like makeshift bath sheets. Now, Brussels has a bit of a reputation for being... let's say, 'adventurous.' But don't fret! Despite the city's somewhat sketchy safety stats, we managed to dodge danger like pros. We weren't mugged or robbed—hooray for small victories! We did have a close encounter with a pickpocket, though. Some overly enthusiastic Maghrebi immigrant tried their luck on our first day, but they must have been new at the game. We walked away with all our belongings intact and a story to tell. In conclusion, Hotel Siru is your knight in slightly faded armor, offering a safe, clean, and friendly haven amidst the bustling streets of Brussels. Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge mindre än en minuts promenad till Grand Place. Mitt rum var inte perfekt (209) toaletten fortsatte att göra ett väsande ljud hela tiden tills jag stängde av vattnet. Duschen hade också mycket svagt tryck. Rummet har en dörr som leder ut till en takterrass vilket är bra men det gör alla andra rum på den våningen så jag kunde inte lämna det öppet på natten eftersom jag inte kände mig säker och rummet har inget fönster för att öppen. Frukosten på morgonen var mycket bra bara några små problem med mitt rum men resten av hotellet var bra.

En visite à Bruxelles pour un concert au cirque Royal nous avions trouvé cet hôtel au bon rapport qualité-prix. Transports en commun à proximité pour rejoindre le centre ou même à pied. Parking hôtel disponible. Personnel sympathique, on reviendra.

The minor details of the lobby and room were decadent. My room was so colorful and full of character. My window was right above the major pedestrian street, so it loud constantly, and the street light illuminates brightly right outside my window. The building is old so they’re were some small legged creatures in my bathroom. The tv didn’t work and I’ll never understand a hotel bathroom with no hooks to hang your towel.

Plus: The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s. There is heating both in the room and in the shower There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works) This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station Minus The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s. There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers. The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt. Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still. The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes. The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry. The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully. The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to. I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep. I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house. The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button . I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.
