I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Merkur, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured my check-in process was quick and seamless. The hotel lobby was inviting and beautifully decorated, setting the tone for the rest of my stay. My room was absolutely fantastic – spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was spotless, and I loved the toiletries provided. The hotel’s location was perfect, situated close to the interlaken west station and local shops, making it easy to explore the area. I also enjoyed the morning breakfast in the restaurant, and the food exceeded my expectations – delicious, fresh, and served with excellent service. Overall, I had a truly memorable stay at hotel Merkur, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and high-quality hotel experience. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Absolutely stunning mountain view from the balcony of our suite. So breathtaking yet so serene. About 10 min walk down hill brings us to lively village of Grindelwald with all its shops n restaurants n cafes n supermarket. Cannot ask for a better location. Having said that, without a car, it can be quite challenging to take our luggages uphill to the hotel. Breakfast is another highlight of our stay. Fantastic selection of cheeses n eggs n bread n yogurt n everything. Delicious. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. The only “negative” I have for our 4-night stay is that the glasses/mugs we used in our room were occasionally not cleaned for us after each day. It is a bit strange. All in all, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers.

All hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony

Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen, a Faern Collection Hotel, is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Switzerland’s breathtaking nature. The hotel is located in the incredibly picturesque village of Wengen, offering fantastic views of the mountains, the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the iconic Jungfrau region. The location is simply stunning — peaceful, fresh mountain air, and a true alpine atmosphere that makes your stay unforgettable. The room was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can feel the attention to detail throughout the hotel: comfortable beds, quality linens, a good shower, and a cozy interior. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. What stands out the most is the excellent value for money. For this level of comfort, service, and such an amazing location, the hotel is truly impressive. Ski lifts, hiking routes, and local restaurants are all within walking distance, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. I highly recommend Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Swiss Alps and have a comfortable, memorable stay.

We stayed at Eiger Lodge Chic as a couple, and honestly, the location alone won us over — it’s incredibly convenient, just a short walk next to the terminal. That made getting around a breeze and gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Some of the facilities were under renovation during our stay, but it really didn’t disrupt our experience. The place still felt calm, clean, and thoughtfully managed — you can tell they’re upgrading with the future in mind. Breakfast was simple, but everything served was fresh, tasty, and more than enough to start the day right before heading out. Sometimes it’s the straightforward things done well that make a stay feel grounded and comforting. Overall, a lovely, easy, and practical base for exploring the Jungfrau region. We’d happily return.

I have stayed at this hotel for 2 days.   I liked the heating in the room because it was very cold and dark outside after 5 p.m. The heating was great for cold weather. Also, the breakfast was good, with a variety of tasty dishes. The staff serving breakfast were very kind and attentive, especially Frank, who was professional in serving the guests.   However, the single room’s amenities were not very good. The bedsheet had dark spots near the charging station located at the head of the bed. There was a clog in the sink’s pipe, and water didn’t drain properly. The view was not pleasant as it faced a building under refurbishment. Additionally, the staff at check-in were unable to provide sufficient information about local sightseeing and dining options; they only recommended one restaurant.

Very lovely hotel. I like the idea that it combines an elderly home together with a Hotel. Location is great, right next to the bus stop. Room is spacious and clean, its worth every penny i paid for

Trevligt hotell eftersom det hade ett fantastiskt läge! Så lätt att hitta och nära Interlaken West station. Om du tar buss från Interlaken ost station, tar det mig bara 5 minuter att komma till hotellet. Samtidigt, snabbköp coop, Migrolino och turistinformation tar också 1-2mins kan anlända. Många restauranger och souvenirbutiker i närheten. Personalen är trevlig och pratglad 😃 Rummet är rent och tillräckligt stort för att öppna två bagage samtidigt. Elektrisk vattenkokare tillhandahölls. Det mindre är att det inte finns någon utsikt utanför fönstret. Och det andra är att ingen tandkräm eller tandborste kommer att tillhandahållas. Jag skulle rekommendera för de människor som är i budget eller med stort bagage.

Stayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
