"I had a fantastic stay at Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich. The hotel’s vintage cinema-inspired design adds unique charm, and the location is perfect—just minutes from the main train station and Zurich’s old town. My room was compact but smartly designed, with a comfortable bed, quality shower, and great amenities like a Marshall speaker. The bar and lounge area was cozy and stylish, ideal for unwinding in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. I appreciated the hotel’s sustainable approach and clean, modern feel. A great value stay—I’d definitely return! Psst: You will have to pay for a bedroom slipper / toothbrush via the vending machine (So remember to bring along)."

"I really don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from, I loved this place. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a great experience. Everything was clean and nice, sheets were clean, no bedbugs, no bad smell, very nice and light room, tv, balcony, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, toilet paper, dishes, small fridge that even had a little freezer inside, stove, the place had everything you might need while travelling. Had no problems with check in, the box is behind the building outside, just put my code in and got the keys, never had to contact any of the stuff, everything was on time. The building has an elevator. The only little thing was that there was a little floor damage that was not a problem for me, and the shower curtain was a bit dirty, would recommend them to change it. I expected this place to be really bad after reading all those reviews, but I got very surprised when I got there, everything was great, would definitely stay there again. The location is great, I'd say pretty walkable like 30 minutes walk to the main station, but there's also a tram stop right next to the building, as well as kiosks, stores and restaurants."

"Bara för att jag måste jaga Bernani Express i morgon bitti, så jag behöver en plats för kort vistelse bara för att mitt tåg från Paris kommer sent till Zürich. Hotellet tar ca 18 minuter att gå, om du har stora bagage, ring taxin. Sängen är fina, allt är bra. Det enda är att rumshastigheten är för hög!"

"The room was extremely spacious, featuring two full bathrooms, a comfortable living room, and a lovely balcony – perfect for relaxing and enjoying some fresh air. The layout was ideal for families or groups, offering plenty of space and privacy. The thoughtful design and generous size made our stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Combined with the hotel’s unbeatable location in the town center, and the friendly, welcoming staff, this room was a standout highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Hotel City Zürich if you’re looking for space, comfort, and style in the heart of the city!"

"We stayed at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel by Fassbind from 5/21/25 - 5/24/25 (3 nights). We are a family of 3 adults and booked 1 room that has (3) twin beds. Our room was on the 6th floor. It was clean and surprisingly roomy. The only problem, there's no AC (Europe hotels for most part don't have air-conditioning). We opened the window and let cooler air to come in. I am sure it's a lot less comfortable in the summer due to the heat. The most enjoyable part were the staff at the front desk. Shout out to Yosie, Katia and Martina. These ladies were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The owner, Mr. Fassbind, should give these ladies a 8% raise. The price for the room was also ”reasonable” for Zürich (~ $400/night). Being able to have 3 people in one room is a bonus. Most hotels will show ”sold out” when trying to book 1 room for 3 people. I really had a very positive experience at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel in Zürich and can highly recommend it. I definitely would stay here again if the opportunity arises."

"這個酒店前台每天五點就下班了，早上幾點我不知道因為我們每次出門比較早，這裏太適合年輕人住了，一切都現代，尤其是手機辦理入住，開門坐電梯都是手機操作，對我們來説還真的不適應，畢竟習慣了常規酒店，入住當天酒店電視無法使用，我們沒有人可以聯繫，最終聯繫了攜程，第二天換了個電視解決了看電視的問題，攜程客服特別貼心還回訪了我們，但是又遇到了手機沒電的情況，好在當天回去酒店有人還在值班，我就在想，如果前台下班了，我的手機也沒有電如何上樓進房間？入住酒店應該以人為本，考慮操作的便利性，多服從入住客人的習慣，這樣才會有更好的生意和口碑，建議年紀大的不太使用手機的人就不要選擇這家酒店了。酒店地理位置還不錯，從火車站坐30路車很方便，衞生也還好，可以在房間做飯有鍋碗瓢盆電磁爐還比較全，總之人各有自己的習慣，我表達的是個人感受，另外酒店有位男士像是負責人，還是蠻熱情的，硬件配置適合年輕人！"

"12th floor. The entrance, hallways and the stairs up to the room etc. were a bit run down and dirty looking but inside the apartment was great and incredibly warm and cozy in the majority of the room. I was very cold coming in so that was perfect for me. Only problem was not being able to turn the heat down at night (I didn't find any way to do it at least) and I had to sleep with the window open where trains would come and go very often and people outside on the street yelling random things sometimes at night, so I didn't sleep very well. The heat came from the ceiling in the bedroom. Also had some people arguing on the floor below and some stomping on the floor above around 00:00 to 03:00 but that's not really the hotel's fault because there's no active staff present. Maybe worth noting is that I stayed here the night of a big concert (Slipknot) at Hallenstadion which is close by. I would stay here again if I found a way to turn the heat down at night. Great view from the balcony."

"The hotel is walking distances away from the main street of Bahnhofstrasse. The room is spacious and super clean. The only setback is that the room doesn't come wit mini fridge and water kettle. Overall experience is great!"
