"We arrived very early for our reservation (06:45 AM) at Ibis Styles hotel after a long night's travel from Prague & wasn't sure whether any rooms would be available. We were greeted by the friendly gentlemen at the reception Hicham Khalil, who was a life saver. He helped us to check-in early which was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary tea & coffee, together with the gym and sauna was a pleasant treat. It was a super comfortable stay at an affordable price, very close to Zurich HB. 😊♥️"

"All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. There is sheltered bicycle storage on site which is useful. There is a bus & tram stop within 2 minutes to head into the city centre.

"12th floor. The entrance, hallways and the stairs up to the room etc. were a bit run down and dirty looking but inside the apartment was great and incredibly warm and cozy in the majority of the room. I was very cold coming in so that was perfect for me. Only problem was not being able to turn the heat down at night (I didn't find any way to do it at least) and I had to sleep with the window open where trains would come and go very often and people outside on the street yelling random things sometimes at night, so I didn't sleep very well. The heat came from the ceiling in the bedroom. Also had some people arguing on the floor below and some stomping on the floor above around 00:00 to 03:00 but that's not really the hotel's fault because there's no active staff present. Maybe worth noting is that I stayed here the night of a big concert (Slipknot) at Hallenstadion which is close by. I would stay here again if I found a way to turn the heat down at night.

"We stayed at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel by Fassbind from 5/21/25 - 5/24/25 (3 nights). We are a family of 3 adults and booked 1 room that has (3) twin beds. Our room was on the 6th floor. It was clean and surprisingly roomy. The only problem, there's no AC (Europe hotels for most part don't have air-conditioning). We opened the window and let cooler air to come in. I am sure it's a lot less comfortable in the summer due to the heat.
The most enjoyable part were the staff at the front desk. Shout out to Yosie, Katia and Martina. These ladies were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The owner, Mr. Fassbind, should give these ladies a 8% raise.
The price for the room was also ”reasonable” for Zürich (~ $400/night). Being able to have 3 people in one room is a bonus. Most hotels will show ”sold out” when trying to book 1 room for 3 people.
I really had a very positive experience at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel in Zürich and can highly recommend it. I definitely would stay here again if the opportunity arises."

Hotellet tar ca 18 minuter att gå, om du har stora bagage, ring taxin.
Sängen är fina, allt är bra.
Det enda är att rumshastigheten är för hög!"

"The hotel is walking distances away from the main street of Bahnhofstrasse. The room is spacious and super clean. The only setback is that the room doesn't come wit mini fridge and water kettle. Overall experience is great!"

Very solid “3 star” hotel located in a very central location.
Hotel Adler is “3 stars” but everything considered, as good as if not better than other 4 star hotels in European capitals.
The location is in a cute location in old town by Central station and the University of Zurich. Very easy to get to and from airport from here and is a very nice location to walk around and explore Zurich from.
Room itself was kind of small but was clean and comfortable.
What’s great is also the restaurant Swiss Chuchi at the bottom of the hotel. It serves the breakfast if included (which was pretty good. Standard pastries/bread as well as cold cuts, eggs, fruits, etc.) and highly recommend visiting for actual restaurant meal service which includes the famous fondue.

Staff was very friendly when we checked in. Room was a little small but enough for us to rest in for a day. Had a good night sleep and location wise was good. Near to Zurich HB about 10 mins walk from station. We were carrying 2 large suitcases only had 1 challenging point where we needed to carry them up a flight of stairs on the way to the hotel from the train station.

취리히 오자마자 기분이 좋아지고 숙소도 깔끔하니 만족했어요
역에서 생각보다 멀지도 않아요:-)
주변에 없는것 없고 취리히는 도보 이동 가능이니까요
야경까지 완벽하게 구경 하고 귀가 하기 좋아요

Det var ett mycket bättre ställe än jag trodde! Badrummet var rent och sängkläderna var fluffiga. Fläkten var dock så dammig att jag inte kunde använda den eftersom den inte var ordentligt rengjord. Det finns inget kylskåp på rummet, så var försiktig med att förvara mat! Frukosten var också jättebra! Den var särskilt bra eftersom frukosten var lång.

Really good location, right by the tram that travels up from the station. 10mins max. Room a little on the small side but clean and with a fan for the heat. Hotel quiet and safe. Excellent, friendly and helpful reception staff. Good breakfast selection. Would stay again

I really don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from, I loved this place. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a great experience. Everything was clean and nice, sheets were clean, no bedbugs, no bad smell, very nice and light room, tv, balcony, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, toilet paper, dishes, small fridge that even had a little freezer inside, stove, the place had everything you might need while travelling. Had no problems with check in, the box is behind the building outside, just put my code in and got the keys, never had to contact any of the stuff, everything was on time. The building has an elevator. The only little thing was that there was a little floor damage that was not a problem for me, and the shower curtain was a bit dirty, would recommend them to change it. I expected this place to be really bad after reading all those reviews, but I got very surprised when I got there, everything was great, would definitely stay there again.
The location is great, I'd say pretty walkable like 30 minutes walk to the main station, but there's also a tram stop right next to the building, as well as kiosks, stores and restaurants.
