We are so glad that we have chosen to stay at this hotel during our trip to Ping'an. It's strategically located at Ping'an, where it's easily accessible to View Point 1: Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and View Point 2: Seven Stars around the Moon. The path to the above viewing points is just next to the hotel! The hotel owner picked us up from the parking lot and carried our bags to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay due to the warm hospitality and superb service. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cleaned with amazing views of the rice terraces close-up. We can even see the sunrise from our rooms. We went during winter, but fret not; the heaters in the rooms kept one warm. It was fun to go during winter as Ping'an is not crowded with tourists. The view of the Longji rice terraces has a different kind of beauty after the harvest season. We had dinner at the hotel. The dishes were delicious as the vegetables were freshly plucked and the chicken was slaughtered for dinner. The hotel owner went out of their way to get us the dried bamboo shoots that we wanted to buy to take home. Breakfast was great. We have enjoyed our meals at the hotel as they're home-cooked and organic. You can't get vegetables, herbs, and meat products fresher than here. It's a great place to stay for hiking and relaxation.

Efter mycket övervägande valde jag Qi'an nummer 1 baserat på en väns rekommendation. Två dagar i förväg lade hotellet proaktivt till mig på WeChat, så att jag kunde ställa frågor när som helst. Hotellet erbjuder transfer från parkeringen. I samma ögonblick som vi anlände till utsiktsplattformen i lobbyn visste vi att vi hade gjort rätt val. Alla bilder nedan togs inuti hotellet, så utsikten är verkligen förstklassig. Direkt mot Golden Buddha Peak, med Thousand-Layer Sky Ladder till vänster, erbjuder den vidsträckta utsiktsplattformen en panoramautsikt. Rummet var rymligt med en oslagbar utsikt; jag fortsatte att ta bilder. Jag satte upp ett stativ och tog otaliga timelapse-bilder – de virvlande molnen var hisnande. Sängkläderna var bekväma och rena, rummet var välutrustat, Dyson-hårtorken var en fin detalj och toalett- och badrumsarmaturerna var alla från exklusiva märken. Vi åt på hotellet i flera dagar, beställde mat när som helst eller fick den tillagad i förväg och kom sedan ner för att äta. Ingredienserna var färska, alla tillagade på beställning. Risnudlarna, den kanderade sötpotatisen och den krispiga auberginen var otroligt läckra och minnesvärda. Deras te var också riktigt gott. Ägaren var varm och gästvänlig, och servitriserna var otroligt uppmärksamma, alltid redo att hjälpa till och mycket vänliga. De erbjöd till och med upphämtning och avlämning för linbanan. Allt var helt enkelt perfekt, och upplevelsen var utmärkt.

在龍脊梯田，我們下榻的“仟佰間”民宿，像是一位剛出關的隱士——新裝修，內功紮實，環境清雅，一進門便覺氣韻通暢。老闆夫婦更是此間“土地公”與“山神婆”般的存在，樸實熱情得令人動容，不僅親自接送行李，晚飯時還慷慨贈飲家釀米酒，幾杯下肚，頓覺山中日月長，塵世紛擾皆可忘。 然而，修仙之路總伴着一絲歷練。此間“辟穀”早餐，雖能果腹，但相較於老闆待客的豪情與窗外雲海梯田的壯麗，着實顯得有些清減。若能在粥粉小菜之外，多添幾樣元氣，便堪稱完美了。 客房窗外即是一幅流動的山水畫卷，景觀絕佳，足以抵消每日“晨練”的辛苦——沒錯，從民宿到最近的觀點台需步行十餘分鐘，權當是通往祕境必須的跋涉了。 總而言之，仟佰間是一場體驗遠高於預期的苦修。它或許沒有極盡的奢華，卻有着最珍貴的“靈氣”：老闆的真心，與山野的本色。若您追求的是一處有温度、有風景的歇腳地，這裏絕不會辜負您的跋涉。

Had such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us. The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal. The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here. The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local). What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat). 在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

We had an amazing stay, the view was spectacular and the staff were extremely hospitable. On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation! The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip.

I was going to leave an average review because I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness and the way the room was kept, especially since my experience in China regarding this aspect was very surprising in a good way! But I have to say, despite this aspect, I had such a great time here. Here I found the peace I craved after some very busy cities, the food was very fresh and delicious and the young boy who served me made this stay a 10/10! He was very patient, kind, helpful, even brought my dinner on the balcony and in the garden and always served me with the wine rice (which I just discovered) and fresh fruit. The views from the hotel are stunning and they also have some very pretty ethnic clothes which guests can wear and take photos! I felt very beautiful wearing them! They also picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. Thank for for this beautiful, soul healing experience! But do try and make an effort with the cleaning and the way the rooms and the hallways are kept. This is my improvement suggestion and I think if this would be taken care of, this place would be a truly perfect gem!❤️

Un véritable coup de cœur ! Notre séjour au Longji Xiyue Hotel a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Le propriétaire a été d’une gentillesse incroyable — il nous a même aidés avec notre drone DJI ! Malgré notre gros retard à l’arrivée, il nous a accueillis avec le sourire et une bienveillance rare. La chambre était sublime, spacieuse et décorée avec goût, offrant une vue à couper le souffle sur les rizières . Tout était parfait, du début à la fin. On ne pouvait pas rêver mieux pour profiter de la beauté de Longji. Un grand merci pour cette expérience mémorable, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Had an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

I really liked the hot springs and the remote location with direct (and free) access to the hot springs. The beds(Japanese style) were incredibly hard though and other guests around were very loud both in evening and early morning. The rooms could also use some refurbishment.
