### A Hidden Gem in Shaoxing: The Perfect Homestay Experience Jag hade nyligen nöjet att stanna på en charmig hemvist i Shaoxing som verkligen kände sig som en helgedom för själen.Från det ögonblick jag anlände blev jag upptagen av den fantastiska traditionella arkitekturen som utan sömn blandade med den lokala kulturen. Varje hörn av egendomen utsöndrade värme och karaktär, vilket gjorde den till en perfekt bakgrund för introspektion och kreativitet. Trots regnet under min vistelse förbättrade det bara upplevelsen.Den öppna gårdens design gjorde det möjligt för mig att dyka upp i de lugnande ljud som regndroppar, medan jag reflekterade över mina tankar och framtida planer. Det är något otroligt lugnande om att titta på regndansen mot det täta taket, och jag fann att det var den perfekta inställningen för skrivning och tänkesätt. Om du letar efter en plats för att klara ditt sinne och koppla samman med ditt inre själv kan jag inte rekommendera detta hemvist tillräckligt.Det är en sann trädgård där traditionell skönhet möter modern lugn. Jag lämnade känslan av att bli uppfriskad och inspirerad.

The best hotel in our budget-travel to China ever. This is our second time here. I regretted the fact that I booked another hotel for reference, I will never ever do that again and will always stay here for my Zhuji bound. The room is clean, breakfast is good. The hotel staff is nice, the location is awesome, near the supermarket and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Stayed three nights and I think the hotel gave us one of the bigger rooms which is appreciated. The staff were friendly and the early check in at around ten in the morning helped a lot after a long flight. The free late night congee was good and the laundry room with detergent was very useful. The lobby also had free coffee, milk and bottled water which I used a few times. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The only problem was the water design because the shower and the sink both leaked onto the floor. Housekeeping kept the room tidy but the teapot and cups were never cleaned even when I left them used which was disappointing. There is a Lawson about two hundred metres to the left of the hotel which was convenient. There is also a noodle restaurant across the road that tasted good and was easy. Overall a good stay with friendly staff and useful facilities but some small details still need improvement.

The location is fantastic! It’s a remote hotel not far from the Fuzhi Rice Terraces. It’s a great place for the summer time when you want to relax by the pool and have a walk amongst the fields. They had fireworks which was a lovely touch. I maybe go back. However, the place is very dirty and is in need of a deep clean. There was a dirty plate in our room, the door on the inside of our bathroom is black at the bottom, the pool needs a clean and the tiles need fixing, the white curtains in the dining area are old and need replacing, there is dust in the corners or the windows as you eat. This place is great but it could be SO much better with a deep clean every month. There are different members of staff and the man on the last day was much more attentive than the first day. Instead of being on the phone, those men could be cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the place. It’s too expensive for what you get.

Staying in Shaoxing has been an absolute dream—especially at Floriette·Time Inn! Waking up and drawing the curtains felt like stepping into a Jiangnan watertown straight out of a Chinese textbook. Stone bridges arched over crystal-clear canals, while black-canopied boats drifted lazily past my window. The boatman even waved and greeted me with a grin! After a night of growling hunger, I rushed downstairs for a bowl of *Ciwu hand-pulled noodles*. Oh. My. Goodness. The chewy noodles had this perfect springy texture, and the broth was so rich it felt like my taste buds were doing backflips! I slurped up every last drop, instantly revived. No wonder—the owner said the noodles are hand-slapped by master artisans! But the real MVP was the innkeeper—a walking Shaoxing travel encyclopedia! Over afternoon tea in the lobby, he’d mark up maps like a strategist: *”This pavilion in Shen Garden is where Lu You mourned Tang Wan—perfect for photos!”* *”The stinky tofu stall near Eight Characters Bridge? Third alley, blue awning.”* *”Bring a jacket for evening boat rides—canals get chilly.”* He even shared where to find the cheapest *huangjiu* (yellow wine) ice cream bars! It felt like staying with your most thoughtful relative—the kind of hospitality that deserves all the stars. This place redefined what I call ”those little moments of joy that make traveling so special.” Five stars? More like a whole constellation!

I want to express my gratitude to the staff at Home Inn Plus Xinchang Grand Buddha Temple for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. The staff's camaraderie and genuine care, even despite language barriers. The use of a translation app allowed for effective communication, creating a memorable experience. I also want to send out a special thank you to (Wu Shaojie, 胡紹丽*, and 单张小琴*) for their dedication and assistance, particularly in resolving payment issues with my US bank cards, helping me get a taxi, getting a SIM card and use their personal phones to make calls for me and translate to the person on the other side. The manager's gesture of waiving the upgrade fee exemplifies genuine concern and compassion in the hospitality industry. The hotel's location is ideal for work life balance, with numerous food options and a shoppinright across the street. The cleaning ladies are always very friendly despite language barriers. Always smiling and polite. 2023, I stayed for a total of 108 nights in different hotels and cities. The hospitality I received at this hotel is unmatched. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is not as good as before .. two floors have been renovated rest the rooms and infrastructure is old and not maintained well… I won’t recommend it to someone who is willing to pay for the standard or service they offer .. can find better hotel at similar price range .. ps .. room has a good view

應該説整體是高出我的預期，雖然預訂之前也看到過圖片，但是到了現場，景色還是非常漂亮，入住的這幾天夜色降臨後，坐在草坪上納涼觀月聊天，非常愜意。服務也非常好，所有的工作人員無論是前台還是打掃房間的阿姨、餐飲部的員工，都很客氣，給人以親切的感覺，我帶去的寵物在我們外出遊玩時越獄逃出房間，很熱心的幫助解決。原計劃沒有打算在民宿就餐，但有一天玩耍得累了不高興外出，晚飯在民宿解決，意外獲得一致好評，第2天的晚上推掉了原先預訂的熱門餐館，還選擇在民宿就餐。總之如果下次再來新昌，這家會優先考慮。
