"前台的兩位小姐姐很熱情，服務態度很好，這個酒店最好的地方就是可以免費遊玩基湖沙灘，嵊泗這裏最美的一個沙灘，這個沙灘不管不是海水還是沙灘都很乾凈，因為酒店在景區內，幾步路就到沙灘了，非常棒，酒店的環境設施沒的説，唯一不好的地方就是衞生，晚上睡的好好的，床上出現了蜘蛛，我兒子都嚇死了，雖然海島上有蟲子也正常，但是床上蜘蛛，有點離譜，其他都沒話説的！周邊吃東西也很方便，外賣也很方便，很多店鋪都很好吃！"

"This is a quaint little hotel on beautiful Huaniao Island. I came here with a group for a beach water polo tournament in July and the staff did a great job checking us all in, communicating & confirming our travel logistics and supporting or schedule while on the island. The one suggestion I would have is that it would be wonderful for us ”early birds” to have some fresh ground coffee brewing in the morning. The instant coffee is OK, but it's great waking up with a fresh cup. I won't let that take away from the wonderful view at the hotel and the wonderful experience we had on the island! "

"So beautiful island and cute hotel.
For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place.
We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us.
Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton.
Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"我們6個人民宿老闆安排比出租車便宜的6座車子來碼頭接送的比打車優惠不少，房間內很乾凈沒有異味，前台還有沙灘優惠券拿，早餐是免費的，另外點了海鮮麪很好吃，另外晚上民宿比較安靜不吵，提前預訂了民宿的晚飯老闆等我們到了再燒好熱乎的很好吃，菜單價格比較親民，明碼標價沒有宰客，海鮮很新鮮比外面拍檔的優惠好吃，今天退房買了夜班船回沈家灣，把行李箱放在前台在民宿裏打牌待到快18點才走，老闆也沒趕人也沒收費真的很客氣。"

真的真的無敵推薦我們是淡季去的，房間非常整潔，星空頂真的能看到星星和月亮，離海邊也非常近最主要的是服務！雖然淡季是叔叔阿姨在打理，但是衞生啥的真的無可挑剔！看到我們是中午入住怕我們沒吃飯太餓，還請我們吃了超級豐盛的午飯！真的超好吃！晚飯讓阿姨幫忙買了菜讓阿姨加工，阿姨衹收了一點點加工費，真的超感動😭也超好吃😭第二天怕太早沒讓阿姨幫我買準備早飯，但是阿姨還是早早起來幫我買做了兩份，又白*了一頓早飯😭對我們真的太好了，下次來還來這兒！

An excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns.
All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted.
The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway.
I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway!

It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. The location is very beautiful and close to nature, you will have a sea view. This place is very well maintained. The house is a smart house, everything is white and new. We were warmly welcomed by the Owners. The staff was extremely friendly. The home-cooked food was yummy (fresh local seafood). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience
I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

I had an incredible experience during my stay! The amazing ocean view was truly breathtaking and made every moment unforgettable. The staff were incredibly nice, cooperative, and always ready to help, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location was absolutely perfect (be ready to climb some stairs 😄) and adding to the overall charm. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!

Wonderful location right next to the ocean and very close to the abandoned fishing village of Houtouwan. The owner offered to pick us up at the pier and the dropped us off after check out. Food is great and breakfast is included. Worth it 👍👍

The place was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all amenities. It’s just a 10-minute walk from Nanchangtu Beach, and the surrounding area is relatively quiet—perfect for unwinding! 🌊✨ The highlight? The cooking skills here are next level—way tastier than any local street food stall, and at a fraction of the cost! 🍳😋 It was such an amazing experience that I’ve already raved about it to friends planning to visit. Highly recommend! 🌟

For the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.

Когда-то давно это был шикарный большой отель, сейчас здание разделили между несколькими собственниками. Территория неухоженная - местами лежит мусор, зелень засохла, места общего пользования - холл, лифт, зона ресепшн выглядят неопрятно.
Номер просторный, мебель старая, но еще живая. Местами на стенах плесень. Убирали каждый день. Обещанного холодильника в номере не оказалось.
Очень приятный персонал, нам бесплатно поменяли номер на лучший вид на море. Чудесная девушка с ресепшн нам во всем помогала.
До пляжа 7-10 минут пешком, пляж платный. За что берётся плата непонятно - на пляже мусор, лежаки - ужасные деревянные топчаны за 15 юаней. От отеля до ближайшего ресторана - 20 минут пешком.
Мы были в низкий сезон, поэтому завтрак приносили в номер - 2 яйца, 4 пирожка и молоко. Не стоит 38 юаней.
Вывод - соотношение цены и качества вполне разумное.
