"Very cosy place. Room is new and clean, looks very well furbished. Toilet is clean as well. Hotel is in Hongcun Village with some nice shops around though you need a ticket to come in so you have to include that into your costs. Hotel provides free tickets to Qiyun Mountain which is a nice addition!"

"The Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. Kindness and true people, and a charming room facing an extremely quiet (the village is loud of tourist shops) inner yard"

There is a place where you can slow down and release your soulThere is a place that is the most ideal residence outside of your home;The B&B is located in Hongcun Scenic Area, adjacent to Wanghong Qishu Lake and Tachuan on the left. The transportation is very convenient. The overall style of the B&B is Japanese style, simple and full of design. The large french window directly extend the green mountains and waters outside the window to the interior, making it very popular in a snap. There are various rooms with clean and bright decorations. Each room also has observation windows, and some rooms have independent courtyards. Sitting and enjoying the scenery and drinking tea are also very happy. The space is quite spacious, and it is very suitable for families or friends to stay together! The public area is equipped with charging stations, restaurants, tea rooms, meeting rooms, and gyms, which are very suitable for group building gatherings. It is a super luxurious terrace for picnics and barbecues under the bright starry sky, unbeatable and romantic. There is also a swimming pool. Jumping into the cool pool in summer is really enjoyable.
"This is the best hotel room we live during the Huangshan trip! The room is huge and very clean with all Hi tech Smart Control features. There is no smoking smell at all in the room!
It also has a very good free self service laundry room that you can clean and dry your clothes, which I have not found in other hotels during this trip in China.
The dining area is also very clean.
The hotel is very close the Hongchun （宏村）scenic area and close to main road. So, you don’t need to carry all your luggage to walk a long way to get to your hotel. I think that you will have to do that when you live inside the Hongchun scenic area."

"民宿距離宏村景區不遠，免費提供接送服務。房間很大，1.8米大床適合親子帶娃，窗簾，燈光，投影儀都是“小愛同學”智能控制的，馬桶也是帶加熱的智能馬桶。 老闆娘很熱情，還幫忙把衣物拿到洗衣房洗滌晾曬。 老闆娘一家的菜燒的很好吃，五加皮炒蛋，鴨板菜幾乎是被孩子們搶着吃完的，小河魚據説是老闆自己在河裡釣的，味道跟鮮美。筍衣燒肉味道不錯，幾個菜份量都很足。老掌櫃得知我們第二天早上登黃山，特地送了孩子們好多桃子🍑並祝我們登上順利大吉。
結果還真的很順利，8.11這天天氣預報説局部雷陣雨，但是白天整個黃山風景區都沒有下雨，天氣也不熱，經過數小時的攀登，大寶和小寶勝利抵達光明頂。"

The hosts were so heart-warming and caring and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We can totally recommend Shangsharuoshui Homestay and we will definitely come back.
The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North.
Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond.
Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place.
What a truly remarkable stay ❤️

It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :)
Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

GGästanvändareMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

Service is superb! The male owner picked me up from the bus stop and dropper me off with his electric motorbike. It was so much fun. The lady on her also come up to check me in at the upper Room where they upgraded me for free to a better and bigger room with view of Hongcun roof 🥰
The room is spacious and very clean all the amenities are there. The bed was so comfortable, Electric blanket actually makes me not want to move out of the bed. I needed to have a good sleep for a very long time. I picked this hotel because they do not have negative reviews and there's a reason for it! Thank you again for having me it's been such a great experience staying in the ancient city of Hongcun. Also they given me chrysanthemum tea from departure gift. How sweet of them.

GGästanvändareTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

KKevfoong SGThe homestead is located inside the acenic area of Hongchun. It is very convenient to all the attractions and restaurants. You csn have a nice stroll after dinner.
The hostel is very 'Zen Style' if you choose for the 2nd hostel called 'Xindeng 心灯'. The room is huge and clean. There also offer nice chinese teas for enjoyment.
The homestead owner is also very helpful in arranging the transport for ferrying to the hostel and to another destination. However, it is much easier to communicate with the operator via Wechat which is local apps. Use Wechat to call for the transport arrangement for any purpose.
The only minor issue is the early distutbed noise of motors and residents will wake you up in the early morning of 6am. The homestead is just next to one of the main lane.

GGästanvändareThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

GGästanvändareThe Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️
