The hotel location was great, and so close to the subway for easy transport into the city. When I made the reservation, it did not indicate that parking was an additional fee, just that there was parking. Not that parking was very much, but I don't recall seeing a fee posted on the booking website, and it was jusy unexpected. The room was sufficient- a tiny bit smaller than expected. And the room had a slight sour smell, not sure if it was mildew or just stuffy from the winter west weather, but we were only there one night, so we didn't fuss. The check-in staff spoke less english than expected, but was okay, as my Deutsch was just good enough we could meet in the middle. Breakfast was a good spread and the attendants were plenty.

Plus: Location: it is really close to cologne station View: it is great view where you could Rhine river at sunrise it is golden and it is beautiful Amenities : everything is comfortable. I love the fact they provide carbonated water and can opener for the bottled water. It is small details like that which differs between great and marvelous. Hospitality: I was really tired when I arrived and the front desk understand my exhaustion. I appreciate that. Services: storage of luggage available

When I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe. The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort. As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne. When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time. Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!

This comment may be a bit long. I come here for check in around 3:30pm, there are a group of elders checking in front me, I waited around 30minutes there. I think the reception is a responsible one but he can either speed up the progress, skip some of the elders questions, and also hotel to consider add one more staff there to support. The long waiting time of check-in delay my travel visit here. The room is very clean, and also new. The place is a little far away by not that far from main city. The room windows are all locked, it is a bit frustrated. The hot water suspended, and when i called reception for 5 times, they finally pick my phone up saying technical issues into 8am , which i have to leave the hotel at 8:15am for my flight... Finally, the breakfast is insanely good! You guys can have a try.

Det var cirka 20 minuters promenad från tågstationen, vilket kändes helt okej. Eftersom jag skulle med ett tidigt tåg var jag till en början lite orolig för säkerheten på vägen vid 6-tiden på morgonen, men det var inget problem alls och allt gick smidigt och problemfritt. Många olika butiker fanns i närheten, men tyvärr var de flesta stängda på söndagar. Rummet var lagom stort och smart planerat, med olika små zoner för gästerna. Det fanns sykit, duschmössa och till och med små godisbitar, vilket är ganska ovanligt i Tyskland nu för tiden.

Jag har en chans att bo på den sista dagen av en fyra dagars europeisk semester... och det var perfekt i ordets enda bemärkelse... och jag önskar att jag hade hittat det förut... att det var mycket rent och att det var mycket säkert att läsa kortet i alla dörrar. Jag stannade på många hotell, men jag kunde inte sova som andra här, eller jag kunde inte lita på väskor och saker, frukost var enkel och vacker, personalen var mycket intresserad och hjälpsam. Jag har haft tillfälle att träffa ägaren under utcheckningen. Han var mycket snäll och tack för presentharibo. Han var väldigt trevlig ❤️

Det är svårt att hitta ett rum i Köln under utställningen.Detta hotell ligger inte långt från centralstationen, mindre än 20 minuters promenad bort, och dörren är en livlig handelsgata. Hotellrummen är lite gamla och har ingen luftkonditionering utan en fläkt.Många hotell i Tyskland har ingen luftkonditionering.Du bör vara uppmärksam på detta problem om du åker dit under den varmaste tiden. Hotellets frukost är ganska bra Frukostrummet har en elegant miljö och ett utomhusläge. Servicepersonalen är mycket vänlig och välkomnande.

the room is clean, the owner is gentle and responsive. The only problem is there is no sound proof at all - considering this is a general flat problem, we can still bear with many random noises coming from outside or inside the building. But there are two permanent residents who share the flat with us cooking and talking to each other from 23pm to 1am, just outside our room. we felt weird to tell them to keep quiet as we are the 'temporary guest'. there must be some rules to be set up if the owner wants to mix long-term and short-term stays.
