🌟 _A fantastic stay from start to finish!_ The staff at Hampton by Hilton Hamburg City Centre were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were spotless, modern, and cozy—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Hamburg. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with a great variety to suit every taste. The location is ideal, with easy access to public transport and major attractions. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hamburg!

Vi är supernöjda 😃 Hotellet är centralt beläget, tågstationen några minuters promenad bort. Hotellet och rummet är mycket rena och alla grunderna var mer än uppfyllda. Handdukar, tvättlotion och tvål ingår utan kostnad. Frukosten är ok, jag tycker att den är riktigt bra för detta låga pris, det finns olika söta och salta erbjudanden, alla varma kalla drycker och kokta ägg, det fanns till och med glutenfritt bröd. Prisprestandaförhållande - riktigt bra! Jag hade velat ha en liten lekplats för barn eller något att måla osv.

No issues with the hotel itself and the service (both are excellent), the only downside is the location. Nothing particularly interesting in the surrounding area and the construction made it tedious to get to but on the plus size, the train is a quick 10 minute walk away.

Lage für einen Stadion- oder Barclaycardarenabesuch unschlagbar, weil beides unter 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten das Glück den letzten Kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz zu ergattern, sehr erfreulich ;-) Am besten also nicht zu spät anreisen! Online-CheckIn gewöhnungsbedürftig aber machbar. Das Zweibettzimmer im Industriebetonstyle ausreichend groß, ohne Schränke, ohne Coffee Making Facility, ohne Kühlschrank/Minibar und kleinem/halben Kopfkissen! Ein merkwürdiger Geruch durchströmte das Zimmer, erinnerte ein wenig an Baustelle. Das Fenster zu öffnen schien die Lösung, es konnte aber nicht durchgängig offen bleiben, weil Zimmer 201 zur Straße ging und diese sehr lange und sehr früh stark befahren war. Zudem machte sich duch Gäste die Nachts vor dem Hoteleingang sehr lange laut waren weiterer Lärm unangenehm breit. Die Internetnutzung wurde erst durch umfassende lästige umständliche Anmeldung zum Reward/Hotelprogramm möglich. Warum...? Das Bad ist modern, neu, die Dusche gut. Wünschenswert wäre ein Stromanschluß und Zahnputzbecher, der nicht aus Pappe und damit mehrfach nutzbar wäre sowie Möglichkeiten Handtücher gescheit aufzuhängen. Das Frühstück haben wir im Paket mit der Übernachtung günstiger als für die angezeigten 14 € pro Person erhalten. Dieses war gerade noch ok, die Auswahl nicht besonders groß, an zwei Kaffeeautomaten bildeten sich recht lange Schlangen. Keine wirkliche Empfehlung für 14 €! Der CheckOut war unkompliziert und freundlich.

Det ligger tvärs över gatan från både tågstationen och fjärrbusstationen. Det kan vara lite bullrigt, med många okända personer som hänger runt entrén. Men det är inget allvarligt. Bli inte orolig. Incheckning och utcheckning är enkelt. Det finns en bar på första våningen. Hotellet i sig är ett vandrarhem, populärt bland ungdomar och backpackers. Det lever upp till sitt rykte som ett budgetresmål. Varmvattnet och Wi-Fi-nätet är utmärkta.

Hotellet ligger nära en sjö. Det finns gott om ställen att promenera och jogga på. På kvällen kan du äta vid sjön med en fantastisk utsikt. Hotellet i sig var förvånansvärt tyst, med ett rent rum i en annexbyggnad med balkong med utsikt över innergården. Det finns dock inget kylskåp eller köksredskap på rummet. Badrockar och tofflor finns. Sammantaget rekommenderas det om du är i området (15 minuters promenad från centralstationen).

The location is extremely convenient directly across the street from the Hauptbahnhof and with a subway station entrance and bus stop right outside. I felt very safe walking around even at night and the few homeless or other kinds of people hanging around were not that many and were not bothering others. There are many shops and restaurants and a supermarket at the train station but also right around the corner from the hotel is a busy street so easily walking distance to almost anything you need and a fifteen minute bus ride to the city center or the port and Reeperbahn area. It was extremely hot during my stay so no air conditioning was tough but most of the more normal weather times it would be fine. There is some city noise but it did not bother me even at night for sleeping with the windows open. A light sleeper might need earplugs though. There is only one small elevator for two people available for the hotel - the second one is still broken as other reviews mentioned so I wouldn’t expect it to be fixed. Taking the stairs down from the fifth floor was fine but not with heavy bags or going up maybe. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard for Germany but not a lot of extras or variety. It was good but not exciting. The best feature of the hotel was the spacious room and comfortable beds. I think it’s a good value for the space and location and would stay again.

The hotel is a little old. It’s located across from the train station. It is easy to walk around the city or take the trains to other nearby towns. The breakfast selection is not the best but it seems that we had no choice. The room is clean but the shower is a little old with some stains.

Ich war zwei Mal im Hotel Elbinsel, ich fand die Zimmer recht unterschiedlich. Im Obergeschoss recht schön, mit Balkon, im Untergeschoß direkt vor dem Parkplatz nicht so schön. Von der Hamburger Innenstadt ist es recht weit mit dem Bus (direkter Bus ab Altona), am Sonntag führt der Bus nur alle 30 Minuten. Die Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor dem Haus. Man hat nicht das Gefühl, in einer Großstadt zu sein, aber großer Supermarkt und Restaurants gibt es alles in der Nähe. Insgesamt eine sehr ruhige Gegend. Positiv: auf den Zimmern gibt es einen Wasserkocher um Tee/Kaffee zu machen.
