Our aim has been to make The Bobbin, an extremely comfortable 'home from home' !The cottage is split over three floors and comprises:Kitchen, Sitting Room with eating area, Double Bedroom, Twin Room and Family Bathroom on the top floor.There is a shared Courtyard to the rear, accessible from the kitchen with table and chairs and an outhouse for laundry and a freezer and the for bicycles.Regarding children playing outside, please be advised there is no gate to close off the Courtyard.Also, the staircase is steep and may not be suitable for very young children, ie toddlers and the elderly.Guest access:Guests can park in front of/near to the property and have access via the right hand side of the building and via the kitchen to the Courtyard at the rear of the cottage.The neighbourhood:The Bobbin is perfectly situated in the heart of the village & ideal for those with & without transport. Ashford in the Water is steeped in history & with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep, there is plenty to see & do. There is an attractive little front patio garden and rear stone flagged courtyard both with furniture. Dedicated parking for one car is available close to the cottage together with other spaces on the quiet road adjacent. There is secure storage for bikes. Smoking is not permitted within the property.
