Our stay at the Lancaster Hotel in Milan was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the exceptional service and thoughtful gestures from the staff. We had a special request for an early check-in and a late check-out due to our travel schedule, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This kind of flexibility and understanding made our trip so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The staff at the front desk was a gem! The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. It was far beyond the standard continental breakfast—there was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, catering to all our morning needs. The cappuccino was particularly delightful, and the staff serving breakfast were always smiling, polite, and attentive. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality these days, and it made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, the Lancaster Hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and thoughtful touches made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Nice hotel at good location near the busiest city area and easy to access all popular attractions. Breakfast is good and environment is nice . Room is clean and good for travelling alone

A stone throw away from Milan Central with various transportation available to head to Duomo. Building is a little aged but it serves its purpose for a 1 night stay with clean toilet and a big bed. Lift up to the hotel is the old type with a manual gate

Rome isn’t just eternal; it’s immediate, visceral, a theatre of existence where the past isn’t preserved behind glass, but bleeds passionately into the vibrant, chaotic present. And experiencing it solo? That’s not loneliness; it’s liberation. It’s a conversation, intimate and profound, between your soul and the city’s timeless spirit. My dialogue began at dawn, chasing the first honeyed light spilling across the Piazza Navona. Alone, you move differently. Unburdened by consensus or compromise, I followed whims: detouring down a cobbled *vicolo* heavy with the scent of baking cornetti, drawn by the sudden, breathtaking reveal of the Trevi Fountain, still relatively quiet. You slip into a *salumeria*, point at mysterious cheeses and glistening olives, and assemble a picnic feast. The hotel offers very good connections to the city center, making it easy to reach all major destinations quickly. The staff are consistently attentive, friendly, and committed, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. Cristina and Seyf were particularly courteous and helpful, even though there was a small initial misunderstanding that was handled professionally and with great kindness. A kettle was also kindly provided for the room, which was very much appreciated. It is unusual that housekeeping is only provided upon departure, which is not typical for hotels. Additionally, both the heating and air conditioning are centrally controlled, which results in noticeably cooler temperatures in the room at night. Despite these aspects, the overall impression remains positive, mainly due to the convenient location and the dedicated staff.

I wanted to like this place, but the walls are paper thin and I couldn't sleep. The hotel has earplugs on the table which proves they know how noise is a huge problem. In the room you can hear everthing in the next rooms, and it is torture. People come and go all night, and then early in the morning.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend for travelling. It is really close to the centralle station and all the restaurants. So it was so convenient for us while staying. The staffs were really kind and nice. They explained everything really well. The building was a little old, but it was nice and clean. I think most of the buildings in Milan are old, so it wasn’t a problem for us. In general, we satisfied staying here. they also provided shampoo and body wash, but didn’t provide the hair rinse, so we hadd to buy one from the other store. It isn’t an essential thing, but would been better if we had that since we have long hair. But as I mentioned earlier, we really satisfied about staying here!

The room itself was clean and quite minimalistic. Housekeeping deserves credit: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed regularly, and the bathroom was kept tidy. In terms of cleanliness, there were no complaints at all. However, the bathroom layout is a serious downside. The shower is extremely narrow, and because it only has a shower curtain instead of a rigid door, it is very uncomfortable to use. The curtain constantly sticks to your wet body, which makes showering frustrating rather than relaxing. On top of that, the water pressure is below average, so it takes longer to rinse off and doesn’t feel very refreshing. Another major issue was the temperature in the room. Even with the heating turned on, it was very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. This significantly affected comfort and made the stay less pleasant, particularly during colder weather. The room itself is quite small and basic, but acceptable for a short stay if you don’t plan to spend much time inside. The furnishings are simple, and everything feels a bit outdated, though functional. In summary, this hotel might be suitable for a short budget stay in Milan if cleanliness is your main priority. However, the very narrow shower with an inconvenient curtain, low water pressure, and poor heating make it hard to fully recommend. Also not every stuff speaks English well
