"The hotel is very conveniently located near the subway station, making it easy to get around. The room size is just right — not too big, not too small.
However, I found the night shift staff to be not very friendly. When asking for help, they didn’t seem very willing to assist.
Another issue is the soundproofing — the walls are quite thin. You can easily hear noises from neighboring rooms, the floor above, and even people walking and talking in the hallway. For light sleepers, this could be a significant downside, especially in the morning when guests are checking out and dragging their luggage around — it can get quite noisy."

"In general was good, even though check in was before 00:00 we were allowed to check in after midnight. The receptionist was kind except for one who was frustrated to our request for a blanket. He commented that one guest was complaining that the AC didn’t work and now we were requesting a blanket. There was no blanket in the room. There were only bedding sheets, which means at night it was pretty cold. And the cold air was blowing from downside of the main door to the room. 
They were some stains, dead mosquito on the wall.
Regarding breakfast besides ham/bacon, there was no chicken or beef, there was enough coffee.
 Kitchen worker during the breakfast was cleaning pretty loud  the dishes, it was a little unpleasant eating while in the same room the kitchen worker was cleaning the dishes loudly.
Our request for quieter room was taken in mind and we got it . 😉"

"Its been awhile since i stay in hostel. The hostel combined with bar & restaurants. The room i got have inside toilet/shower with really bad insulation and thin wall. Imagine u stay with 6 strangers inside 1 room, other than u hear the noise in the room, u also hear wht they do in the bathroom room really clearly. Some people check in in the middle of the night (1am -4am…and u can hear everything.
Advice to stay if u dont mind with all that or it just pit stop for u if u stay in milan and need to go somewhere else next day. But i like how they make privacy for the bed and have plug, lamp and small space for the guest at the bed."

"The Bernina Hotel was truly the best choice I could have made. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly in Korean, saying “Annyeonghaseyo,” which made us feel instantly welcome. Since it was our honeymoon, they kindly upgraded our room, allowing us to enjoy a more comfortable and romantic stay. During meals, they even prepared a special salmon salad for us, making every moment in Milan even more delightful. My wife and I asked to take a photo together, and I told them I would cherish our memories of this hotel forever. "Great hotel, I missed it when I moved to a different hotel for the holiday. Nice transport links with it being close to the metro and the surrounding area near the park is good. Bunch of shops and restaurants on the main road near the hotel with some staying open until late. Breakfast was pretty good, could be improved with more choice. Room was nice, only improvements would be a bigger fridge (inside of it was small), bigger shower area and potentially better air con but it worked fine. Bed was great size for a single bed. Great service and staff members too, always were nice and positive. Well lit room, ability to open shutters too. The hotel being eco-friendly was a nice bonus."

We had a special request for an early check-in and a late check-out due to our travel schedule, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This kind of flexibility and understanding made our trip so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The staff at the front desk was a gem!
The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. It was far beyond the standard continental breakfast—there was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, catering to all our morning needs. The cappuccino was particularly delightful, and the staff serving breakfast were always smiling, polite, and attentive. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality these days, and it made our mornings even more enjoyable.
Overall, the Lancaster Hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and thoughtful touches made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan and look forward to staying here again in the future!

The staff are consistently attentive, friendly, and committed, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. Cristina and Seyf were particularly courteous and helpful, even though there was a small initial misunderstanding that was handled professionally and with great kindness. A kettle was also kindly provided for the room, which was very much appreciated. It is unusual that housekeeping is only provided upon departure, which is not typical for hotels. Additionally, both the heating and air conditioning are centrally controlled, which results in noticeably cooler temperatures in the room at night. Despite these aspects, the overall impression remains positive, mainly due to the convenient location and the dedicated staff.

MMoochuTo get an access key, We have to go to another building around 3 blocks away in order to get a key. The inconvenience is, appointment had made to me in front of one Villa’s door. We found other guests waiting there to but there is no more instructions for access. We have to call property and finally find out that their office just like at the next two - three rooms. I don’t understand why they didn’t make appointments at their office at first time. We we were feeling frustrated while we had been asked from the villa’s owner why we stood there in front of their property.
The room is quiet good actually.

The staffs were really kind and nice. They explained everything really well.
The building was a little old, but it was nice and clean.
I think most of the buildings in Milan are old, so it wasn’t a problem for us.
In general, we satisfied staying here.
they also provided shampoo and body wash, but didn’t provide the hair rinse, so we hadd to buy one from the other store. It isn’t an essential thing, but would been better if we had that since we have long hair.
But as I mentioned earlier, we really satisfied about staying here!

AAnonym användareThe room itself was clean and quite minimalistic. Housekeeping deserves credit: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed regularly, and the bathroom was kept tidy. In terms of cleanliness, there were no complaints at all.
However, the bathroom layout is a serious downside. The shower is extremely narrow, and because it only has a shower curtain instead of a rigid door, it is very uncomfortable to use. The curtain constantly sticks to your wet body, which makes showering frustrating rather than relaxing. On top of that, the water pressure is below average, so it takes longer to rinse off and doesn’t feel very refreshing.
Another major issue was the temperature in the room. Even with the heating turned on, it was very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. This significantly affected comfort and made the stay less pleasant, particularly during colder weather.
The room itself is quite small and basic, but acceptable for a short stay if you don’t plan to spend much time inside. The furnishings are simple, and everything feels a bit outdated, though functional.
In summary, this hotel might be suitable for a short budget stay in Milan if cleanliness is your main priority. However, the very narrow shower with an inconvenient curtain, low water pressure, and poor heating make it hard to fully recommend.
