"The room was big and spacious; there was a double bed and a set of twin beds. There were two small balconies from which you could see the national library. The toilet was ok, the shower would flood and there was a wooden beam kinda hanging loose. Unfortunately, the room is not soundproof and you can hear the noise from the upstairs and neighbouring rooms (especially the toilet noises)."

"The hotel reception blamed Trip.com, saying they should not and cannot charge the city tax, and then asked me to pay again. Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel, but the reception staff need better training. When I checked out, the receptionist asked me to pay the city tax. I told her that my booking clearly included the city tax, but she kept insisting that what I had prepaid did not cover it. At that moment, I couldn’t find the booking receipt in my email, so I couldn’t show her proof right away. Because she kept saying I was wrong, my teenage son started to believe her and argued with me, saying, “If she asks for it, just pay, it’s only €14.” This was upsetting, not because of the money, but because it set the wrong example for my son. In the end, I paid the €14 again and then took about 10 minutes to search through my email. When I finally found the booking receipt, I went back to show it to her — proving that I was right and the city tax had already been included. At that point, she asked someone else for help (possibly a manager), and instead of apologizing, they blamed Trip.com, saying I should ask the agent for a refund. I later contacted Trip.com, and they processed the refund without any issues. I’ve used Trip.com many times before, and I’ve never had a problem like this. The real issue here is not the money but the lack of professionalism at the hotel reception."

"Hotel Tito in Venice Mestre turned out to be much nicer and more convenient than many reviews had led me to expect. The location was perfect for getting around, and I appreciated simple comforts like the mini fridge in the room and the shared kettle and microwave in the common area. While the space was generally pleasant, it could use a bit more dusting and some upgraded duvet covers. The walls are a bit thin toward the shared hallway, so you can hear very late arrivals if they're loud, though I never heard anything through the actual bedroom walls. Overall, I genuinely liked my stay and found it to be a straightforward, comfortable base for exploring the area!!"

"Room was small but clean no teas or coffee ın room just bed and towels very basic but clean . Clean bath towels and changing beds every day . Breakfast very basic . Location is good buses and trams front of the hotel , buses from ,to airport infront of the hotel . Price is good too you get what you pay for. I was happy with it cheap and cheerfull . I recomend to ones that they just want clean hotel and visit Venice ."

"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Carlton Capri! The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout my visit. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and very convenient for exploring Venice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I truly appreciated their kindness and professionalism. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for rest after a full day of sightseeing. The amenities were excellent as well: comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, good air conditioning. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and well taken care of. "Staying here was the best decision I’ve ever made! Initially, I was sad because i can’t book the hotel near Venice main station (Venezia Santa Lucia). Hotels near main station are expensive, crowded, stairs and not easy to access. This hotel only 10 mins away from main station and the price is reasonable. Room is big and very clean. Walking distance from metro, restaurants, cafe and big supermarket nearby. We enjoyed our stay and 100% recommended! Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. Most of the hotels in Europe don’t provide those."

Everyone, from the concierge to housekeeping, kitchen staff, and waiters, works with genuine warmth. You’re greeted with smiles, and you can tell they’re proud of what they do. Special thanks to Salvo at the front desk. He’s a standout. Speaks multiple languages, including Chinese. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He gave me a personalized trip plan, listed local spots worth visiting, and never got tired of my questions. Rare to find this level of care. The room: clean, compact, and comfortable. Good enough for working online without any issues. The included breakfast is decent: breads, cheeses, hams, and cold cuts. Drink choices are solid too. The hotel is close to Rialto Bridge, which means the area’s prices can be high, but the convenience and access are unbeatable. Would absolutely stay again. The staff alone make it worth it."
