"A very modest inn but overall the experience was decent. Water was only provided on the first day during checkin and subsequent days were a bit confusing as they are not in the room. Some Japanese is needed to have a smoother breakfast experience but was decent."

"Hotel is near to Sun beach and a shopping district. It also provides shuttle bus service to the train station and is really convenient. Shout out to staff Fukumara Imelda! Excellent service from her and she acceded to my request for a change in room (with a top up fee) and made the procedures real smooth! Worth a stay for families as the rooms with tatamis are huge."

"熱海站到酒店打電話可以安排接送，自己走實在不方便，因為熱海是山坡路，酒店在山上，如果有行李，真的很夠嗆。酒店不大算不上星級，就是普通的温泉小旅館，有點陳舊，温泉是在別館的地下一樓，我們是臨時決定在熱海住一晚，大部分酒店都已經滿房，因為日本人也休假，所以導致房價跟平時相比翻了五倍😓衹能説隨便住住還馬馬虎虎吧。"

"A deeply moving ocean view". This resort hotel has a sweeping view over Sagami Bay.
"It was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities.
The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami!
I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Oonoya. One of the perks was the free shuttle bus from Atami Station to the hotel. However, the map provided on the website seems outdated, which caused some initial confusion. Thankfully, the station staff was very helpful and directed us to the correct bus bay.
A highlight of our trip was catching the Atami fireworks from the hotel’s rooftop — the view was absolutely perfect and made for a memorable evening. The indoor hot spring was also a standout feature: it’s spacious, spotlessly clean, and very relaxing after a long day of travel.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Just be sure to double-check shuttle bus details upon arrival!"

GGästanvändareThe host couple were wonderful, accommodative and helpful, as mentioned in many reviews. Although a little confusing to locate initially, it is actually quite accessible to the shopping and restaurant areas. We love the spaciousness and layout of the room. The Hinoki bath was a star feature for us. We will definitely want to visit again. Thank you to the special hosts🙏🏼

AAvedisThis hotel really great for locationwise.. nearby all those eatery places and souvenirs shops. The onsen really good as well and the room quite big and clean. The only upset us since we booked another day through differrent apps but when we checked in we told the lady and also pay all the tax at the same time but we hv to check out and change the room. On the day we change the room the man charge us again the tax eventhough i already explained and ask him to doublechecked. On the last day we asked again and show them the receipt so they gave us back the tax money. Its not about the amount of money but their serve that i want to point it out.

Public onsen provides inside and outside experience.
The only disappointed is there is a Group of HK people arrived, there is a man full of tatoo get in public onsen. I checked the rules at front door. It mentioned Tatoo is prohibited. This kind of stupid HK people is a shame for HK when they travel around in Japan. Dont understand the culture of Japan.
No parking area for loading, Car parking needs to use next hotel, a bit inconvenience if you carrying few luggages. 🧳

Location abit far and hilly from town. That will be good if you are driving. They also provide free shuttle bus go train station.
Be prepare you own food before stay in if you dint get their dinner and break fast.
Good chill and relaxing hotel.

AAnonym användareHotellet borde få mer än tre stjärnor.Rummet är stort, lukten är också trevlig, även om det är ett gammalt hotell men bevara det så trevligt.Offentlig tjänst är också bra. Nattens buffé hittar bara, men vi tänker med priset och du kan få allt du kan dricka alkohol och sushi, det är värt det.I allmänhet älskar vi hotellet.

Rrptsha看得出是有年頭的酒店了，設施比較老舊，像房門鑰匙、開關、插座、座便器這些看着就是十幾年前國內3星酒店的標準。因為在海邊的關係吧，房間一進去就是潮濕的黴味，不過房間裏面有放凈化器。在花火大會當晚能訂到房，已經不容易了，雖然相比平時價格可能翻了3倍。房費包含2大1小的一泊二食，按3人鋪好了床、擺了洗漱用品。
早晚餐都是自助餐，要注意的是晚飯最好提前跟酒店約時間，我們不知道，去了現場被告知晚飯時間衹有第二場20點開始，還好我們的司機大姐跟前台軟磨硬泡，説我們要去海邊現場看花火的，給我們調到了18:30的第一場。自助餐品質雖然不多，但是味道很不錯，尤其炸蝦、蛋炒飯、牛排。軟飲、啤酒也是暢飲的，用餐時間70分鐘。
吃完飯，從酒店溜達到親水公園google map有兩條路，一條經過熱海銀座，人多車多店鋪多走起來慢，想感受熱鬧的可以走這。我們選了沿着系川河有台階的小路，去海邊是下坡走起來不累，大概12、3分鐘就能到親水公園，這邊看煙花正好。如果不想去海邊，酒店的5樓也有露台能看（當天有看到一塊指示牌），不過會被前面的樓擋住一些。
看好花火回酒店，還能去2樓大澡堂洗澡、泡温泉，舒服。第二天早餐最晚入場時間是9點。

GGästanvändareOverall, it could be rated excellent as a local ryokan but may not be ready for international clients. It has won Rakuten bronze award 2023. I am particular about smoking and the non smoking room was full of smoky smell. Also surprised that I have to set up my own tatami bed etc. Staff dependent on google translate but stranded when there's no WiFi. They could have translated common phrases in text. Nice garden.
