"One of our best stays during my time in Japan! The staff were very friendly. She shared with us where we should go for onsen, dinner and places to visit. Breakfast was simple but very hearty. We are touched that they considered our food restrictions and adjusted accordingly. Very thoughtful! We could also use the yucata and jacket to walk around town. Love this experience very much! The onsen is also lovely. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again. P.s they don't have yamato service if you need to deliver your baggage."

"The stay in Mutsumikan was very good. The Hotel (Ryokan) is very close to the train station. To the center of Gero it takes roundabout 5 minutes by foot. The experience seemed very authentic. Most of the staff understand basic english, so communication was never an issue. Our room was very clean and tidy. Everything you need for a 2 night trip was there. The outdoorbath was pretty small, but that was never an issue with the amount of people staying there. Breakfast and dinner were in a japanese style and very tasty, but maybe not to everyone's palate. Overall the stay was pretty good and I would stay there again."

浴衣を自分で選ぶタイプですが、連休初日に夕方にチェックインしたらすでにデザインや色は選べませんでした。
朝食、夕食はバイキングで好きなものを好きなだけ食べられて満足です。
季節的にカメムシが大量発生していて、窓が開かないようになっているのに部屋の中にも入ってきて一騒動になりました。涼しい時期に行く方はご留意ください。"

Sasara Ryokan ligger bara 8 minuters promenad från tågstationen JR Gero. Här erbjuds offentliga bad med varma källor och panoramautsikt. Traditionella måltider med flera rätter serveras i japanska tatamigolv.
På Onsen Ryokan Sasara kan du uppleva japanska futonsängar och vävda halmmattor. Rummen i kategorin Deluxe har ett eget varmt källbad. Alla rum har en platt-TV med satellitkanaler.
Byn Gasshani och templet Onsen-ji ligger bara 10 minuters promenad från hotellet.
Sasaras bastu och spa i sten gör det lätt att koppla av, och gästerna kan också boka massage. Det bekväma biblioteket är en lugn plats för att läsa eller umgås.

"The hotel is settled in the middle of Gero Hot Spring town, short walk from the train station and can also be reached via bus from Kamikochi area.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. You can feel the spirit of older times in this hotel with a lot of beautifully selected decoration pieces.
The manager showed us around and even offered us a new room since I accidentally booked one without shower (we declined that offer since we only wanted to stay for one night). That’s why we used the Onsen area for showering which is beautiful and includes all amenities. View above Gero and including an outside Onsen area to watch the sunrise.
The staff was very friendly, the manager even drove us to the bus station since we forgot our jackets in the bus. The bar is well-equipped and a great place for a drink or two.
One of the best parts was the breakfast. Never had such a good Japanese breakfast before- delicious, served in a private room, beautifully arranged. Next time we want to try their dinner :-)
We felt like family and I can recommend anyone going to Gero to stay at this great hotel! Thanks again for your hospitality!"

The hotel has various baths such as cypress bath on the roof top with nice view and garden open-air bath. Meals are served by the best material in season of Hida. Anyway the ***** bath also available. It’s great view on public bath. Onsen in this town is clear water.
English speaking staff with Kimono also good.

"시설은 다소 오래돼보였지만 전반적으로 깔끔하게 관리하신게 보였어요. 다다미방이 널찍하니 좋았고, 프론트에 계신 모든 직원분들이 친절했어요. 내부 사우나와 외부 온천 두가지가 있었는데 시설이 작은편이지만 제가 이용할 땐 다른 이용객들이 없었어서 동생이랑 둘이 편하게 온천을 즐겼어요. 저희는 반려견은 없었지만 애견인분들을 위한 다양한 공간도 있는 것 같았습니다. 게로역까지는 도보로 12분정도 걸리는데 눈이 많이오고 캐리어도 있어서 샌딩서비스를 이용하고 싶었는데 기사분이 없다고 하셔서 이용하지 못했어요. 대신 직접 택시를 잡아주셔서 다행히 역까지 편하게 이동했습니다. 방 안에 유카타를 비롯해서 다양한 어메니티가 있었고 숙소 바로옆에 게로푸딩, 버터샌드, 여러 기념품샵 소품샵이 있었어요. 로손도 도보 5분거리에 있어서 좋았습니다. 아 근데 층간소음? 방음이 잘 안되고 윗사람들이 걸으면 방 전체가 막 울려요ㅋㅋㅠㅠ 이 점 빼고는 다 너무 좋았습니다."

Mminnyjinny쇼와시대의 레트로 감성을 제대로 느낄 수 있는 료칸이예요! 오래된 시설이라 조금 불편한 점도 있을 수 있겠지만,
주인분과 직원분들 모두 정말 친절하셨고,
석식과 조식 다 너무 정성스럽고 맛있는 식사였어요!^^
크지 않지만 24시간 온천욕을 즐길 수 있었던 것도 이점!
주변에 온천마을을 산책하는 것도 정말 좋았습니다!
자료가 거의 없어서 고민을 조금 했었지만,
선택하길 잘했어요!
세련됨보다 일본의 진짜 료칸을 경험하시고 싶으신 분들께 적극 추천합니다!

GGästanvändare楽しみにしていた天然炭酸泉が 地震の影響か ほぼ出ていなくて そこだけが残念でした。
温泉も温いというより 温過ぎましたが
お料理がとっても美味しかったです。
旅館となりに酒屋さんがあり、夜は早く閉まるので
16時には買い出しに行き 晩酌しました。
目の前には富士神社があります。

AAnonym användare+ : beautiful, traditional Japanese hotel with nice tatami rooms. The room was spacious and confortable with all necessary amenities. The outdoor onsen was great and almost empty when I went. The breakfast buffet is ok.
- : a LOT of stairs in the building (very difficult for elderly and disabled people, but also people with big suitcases!). There is a car that theoretically can pick you up at the train station or drop you off but I couldn’t use it when I arrived because I received no information on it beforehand or when I left because it only starts at 10am. The onsen is not tattoo friendly and you have to pay for the tattoo cover. Staff was kind but most of the time unable to offer solutions
Overall, a beautiful ryokan but for the price, you can find better.

Nous arrivons dans une magnifique demeure entièrement détruite dans une autre région et reconstruite pièce par pièce à son emplacement actuel, dont les propriétaires éprouvent une immense fierté.
Nous sommes accueillis par une famille dynamique, joyeuse, ouverte et généreuse, aimant accueillir et offrir le meilleur à leurs invités.
Passée une belle réception, s’ouvre un salon avec le foyer traditionnel au centre. Les chambres sont très belles, spacieuses, dans lesquelles nous préparons et rangeons nous-mêmes nos futons comme de coutume dans un Minshuku. Les Yukatas à disposition sont beaux et confortables et une couche épaisse peut être mise par dessus par temps froid.
A peine arrivés, nous avons été invités à nous baigner et à profiter des bains en couple, moyennant de mettre un petit panneau indiquant que nous prenons un bain en famille, si charmant. Les salles de bains sont magnifiques, toute de bois de cèdre, avec une vaste baignoire en métal.
Il y a également la possibilité d’y faire une lessive, très appréciable pour un voyage backpack.
Tout est propre et sent bon. Le lieu invite volontiers à des rencontres avec les autres convives. L’esprit ouvert des hôtes est communicatif et rend chaque instant unique et ouvre au partage. Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi, en famille ou entre amis.
Les repas offerts sont copieux et délicieux. Nous avons eu droit à une shabu shabu variée et de nombreux petits plats autour, tous préparés avec le plus grand soin et des ingrédients de qualité. Le petit déjeuner n’était pas en reste, copieux et savoureux.
De plus, vin, bières et surtout sakés régionaux d’excellente qualité sont offerts à prix très doux pour parfaire la visite gustative.
Après le repas, nous avons été invités à une démonstration / initiation de pliage et découpe de papier dont le propriétaire des lieux est expert depuis 41 ans, le tout amené avec humour dans des conversations riches et ouvertes.
Ce lieu mériterait un roman complet mais nous nous arrêterons là. Pour faire bref, nous avons adoré et Akakabu se trouve en très bonne place sur nos carnets de voyages pour y retourner dès que nous en aurons l’occasion! Mille mercis pour tout!

JJin-chanAlthough the building itself seems to be old, but the room was quite spacious and decently clean. We had a relaxing stay at this hotel with their very comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the hotel is not in the Gero town center, and you need to travel by car or taxi. Nevertheless, the onsen bath was very good with alkaline onsen bath soothing the body after a tiring walk around Gero town. The buffet dinner was very good which includes all-you-can-eat crab legs.

Jag hade dock hört att parkeringen var liten, så jag ringde i förväg för att bekräfta. De sa att det skulle gå bra om jag kom fram till värdshuset, och att de skulle guida mig dit. Det fanns dock ingen vägledning, och jag blev tillsagd att bära mitt bagage från parkeringen långt bort själv. Jag bad dem inte att förvara mitt bagage åt mig i början, och de sa inte ens att de skulle göra det. Jag såg fram emot det, så jag blev besviken från början.
