"It was a great time. So nice experience. The staff is very polite and friendly. The dinner and the breakfast were amazing. We also visited a private onsen, spent really nice time there under the sound of the rain and with the view on bamboo forest."

"We stayed at the Mixed dormitory and it was so comfortable. At first we were hesitant but the installations are so good. The shared bathrooms are impeccable, the shower is so clean and big. The bed was so comfortable The best part of this hostel is the staff, they are the sweetest and they're so helpful. We loved the onsen and we also got the morning breakfast. I would absolutely recommend. The people I stayed with in the mixed dormitories were pretty chill, so we didn’t have any issues sleeping or leaving our stuff there."

"This hotel may be a bit remote, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful—and absolutely perfect if you’re hoping to catch the sunrise. While you can’t see Mt. Fuji directly from the room, you only need to step out onto the road in front of the hotel to get an incredible view. I highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over Mt. Fuji—it’s truly unforgettable. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is super convenient. I strongly recommend biking along the nearby cycling and walking paths; there’s a beautiful lakeside area with stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, and best of all, it’s completely quiet with hardly anyone around. The owner is very warm and welcoming. We rented a car so we didn’t need the free station pick-up service, but it’s great that they offer it—it makes getting there easy even without a car. Just make sure to buy any food or drinks you’ll need in advance, since there aren’t any stores or restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely traditional Japanese inn vibe. It was such a relaxing stay—I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with a touch of old-school charm."

"숙소가 고라역 근처인데, 힐링만 하러 오기에는 아깝네요. 고라역까지 온김에 꼭 리프트타고 올라갔다오는게 좋은데, 료칸이라 그것도 아까울수있어요. 조식은 뷔페식이고 괜찮았고, 석식은 술하고 음료 많은데 식사는 좀 적은감이 있어요. 바로앞 편의점인 것도 좋고, 방에 욕실있는곳이 정말 좋았습니다."

"Lovely place. Some staff can speak English, some can't, but all of them were very friendly and helpful. Location is just 5 minutes walk from the main station and bus stop on the main street. The food was outstanding and stunning in presentation. The hot spring has indoor and outdoor areas. The room was spacious but can be super cold during winter (and there's no hot water system in the bathroom due to old facilities). But overall, best experience, would love to come back :)"

"It is a very good ryokan. The staff were nice and helpful. They explained every rule about onsen, futons, dinner and breakfast. The room is spacious and has nice views on the green trees and rooftops. The outdoor onsen is brilliant. It is mixed-gender and you have to go there completely naked. They have women-only hour for outdoor onsen, so it is comfortable for those who are shy. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were very good. Variety and style are top. Ryokan has quite location and you it's possible to get there by foot, it's uphill tho."

"The room is very nice with a lot of space and a nice view overseeing the river and small waterfall. The facilities like the private onsen is super nice as well. Public bath - we tried both , are good standard too. And super clean too. However, two things need to be mindful of: 1. The meal isn’t great as expected - they serve kids lunch as kids dinner, and for adults one, it is not the kind of nice setup I imagined 2. The tatami blanket is …. Below hygiene standard. I feel super itchy staying under the blanket and my boy got some bugs bite sadly. I hope they can arrange for a big clean up everytime."
