"It is a relatively cheaper kind of resort hotel, still quite expensive, but was cheaper than the other big name hotels by the beach in the Onna area. Its also close by car to the Blue cave which was why I chose it. I got a bottom floor room so didn't really get a view (the 'garden' view) but there's a patio, but if you get the higher floors you should have a view of the beach and the ocean. The beach is just a few minutes walk through the little forest, and is a small private enclosed beach with a little reef, quite lovely. Can snorkel, but I only stayed close to the beach so didn't see that much in the water. The room is clean and spacious, but the decor is dated. There's also a little hotel restaurant which serves buffet breakfast, and they also sell snorkelling gear in the small lobby. It's more convenient if you drive to get there, but they do charge 1000 yen a day for parking, which I didn't really like."

"The location of this hotel is excellent however... there were a few things I found concerning: There was no emergency exit information provided to us. If there was a fire and you asked me to find the stairs I would not have been able to. The window in our room was cloudy with some caked on dirt and mineralization (which you could feel on the inside). The shower worked kind of. There was one time it cut out in the middle of bathing and I had to put my head under the faucet to rinse my hair. The free sake bar is not what you think. The one cup sake, you can get at lawson's for 100 yen is WORLDS better than anything they had available. I wouldnt clean my bike engine with the drinks they had. Draft beer was local Orion and was great. Breakfast was a solid 6.5/10. Miso was super salty day 1 and improved a lot day 2 we were there. The staff across the board were very nice, kind, and helpful. This place has an impeccable location, and if that is your primary concern go for it.If you're splurging a little bit on this accommodation, thinking that you're getting a bunch of amenities, save your money and just buy beer and sake from the store."

"Pros: staff is so friendly and kind, it’s a great location on Kokusai-dori (near both monorail and a bus stop), and it really is kept quite clean Cons: loud and cold. I would have left, but I knew they wouldn’t give me a refund ZERO soundproofing! There’s all these rules telling us “no calls, keep quiet” but you can hear everyone slamming doors in the hallway and using the hair drier and washing machines at night. There was also so much noise from the street, whether it was parties at night or children screaming during the day. I was up until 3 at night because of people both inside and outside. The walls are also so thin, I could actually hear snoring from the room next to me. Why are there all these rules about sound, yet it’s still so loud?! They tell us, “please keep calls to the common area” but the common area’s window is also right on the street, so I had to take a work call with sirens screaming through the area. The room was also freezing. It was 17-20 degrees outside most days, and even in the hallway the temperature was fine. But in my room, it felt like it was 12. I had to pay to rent extra pajamas from them because it was so cold at night. And there was constantly a breeze coming from somewhere in my room! But because there’s no individually controlled AC, there was nothing I could do. I could feel myself getting sick here"

"Rummet är rent. Chefen är bra för att passagerarna ringer högt till oss och hörde oss alla. - Det finns en eldräkt. Men det finns en drink i närheten. Det blir lite högt att dricka på kvällen. Om det inte var en hög känslig röst, så var det väldigt bra att bo. Badrummet är lite för minibart."

"Very helpful receptionists and staff both via online and at front desk even though we received a baby cot by misunderstanding. Acceptable for 2,000 JPY per one room cleaning regarding eco-friendly policy but policy details should be clearly communicated with maids too. We received only towels for two nights without water or cool pads even though we ensured our message with the front lady. However, comparing to their impressive service, the place is worth to revisit."

"優點： 1.地理位置非常便利：距離 Omoromachi Station步行約8分鐘。附近有 Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum 約3 4分鐘、免税購物區也在步行可達範圍。因此，如果你希望體驗那霸市區、購物與交通都方便，這個位置是一個大加分項。 2.免費早餐，基本設施齊全：早餐為自助形式，時間約為 6:30–9:00。房間配有免費 WiFi、空調、冰箱、電熱水壺、坐便洗凈功能（bidet）浴室等基本設施。 缺點： 1.房間比較小，設施稍舊 2.停車位有限且需額外付費：雖然有停車設施，但為先到先停，而且價格另計。若自駕、尤其是車大或重物很多，這點要留意。 3.位置雖好但非海景度假型：酒店位於市區近購物與交通樞紐，適合市區觀光、購物。但如果你期望“靠海”“看海景”“度假休閑”那種氛圍，可能稍微欠缺。"

"The pros: The room is larger than other hotel in Japan. The shower room is small like others. The amenities are provided at the reception. The location is good. In front of the hotel, there is a good coffee shop. The cons: At the back of TV’s counter is very dirty, full of dust. The fridge did not work. The parking is ¥1,000 per day but if it full you have to find the parking around the hotel. I found that the parking around the hotel is cheaper than hotel’s parking, ¥500 per night."

"Good location and walkable distance to 國際通。Parking is just 1000yen per night and it is not far from the hotel, will definitely choose Smile Hotel again when I go Okinawa next time. "
