"Room is quite big and comfortable, beautiful lobby. The room had double-layered curtains with sheer drapes, which was a very thoughtful touch. Even when the morning sunlight was bright, it didn’t feel harsh. The only pity was that we didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast this time—hopefully, we can enjoy it on my next visit. "Sendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable. This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property. However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time."

"I forgot to snap a picture of the room. It’s the nicest hotel I have stayed in Japan for the price I paid. The hotel’s bed is slightly fixed higher to allow storage of luggages. This is very convenient for travellers with larger luggage. We had two 30mins luggage and had no problem roaming around the room. The amenities provided here is of better quality as well. Feels nice to the skin. It was New Year’s Eve yesterday and the hotel prepared soba noodle for everyone. Felt so warm after a long chilly day in Sendai! Overall. Great stay!"

"Wow! Everything was nice here! The location was good, close to the station. The amenities were remarkable and the b'fast buffet sets the standard! I will highly recommend this Koko Hotel and would be more than satisfied to stay again!"

"The location is very good. 5 min to sendai train station. There is a famous grilled beef tongue across the hotel. There is also convenience store nearby. I think the coin laundry is so expensive, it’s 700 yen. Room is spacious and clean."

"the location is good as it takes only 10 mins walk from the Sendai JR Station. Breakfast food provides a lot of choices including the famous Zunda-mochi. You may not need to queue up at Sendai Asaichi Morning Market for Zundai mochi. Curry beef tongue is cooked very soft and tasty. Free ramen, Yukult, ice cream stick is provided in different time slot. You may eat over 1 bowl of Ramen if you can during 9:30pm to 11pm every night. Free washing machine is provided inside the onsen. Spacious room that allows 30” luggage case to open. Sendai is worth to visit again."
