"Sendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable.
This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property.
However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time."

"最寄駅の地下鉄勾当台公園駅からは13〜5分を住宅街を歩きます。仙台駅からは23〜5分かかりますが、いろんなお店や建物があって楽しいし明るいので、こちらのコースで行動しました。夜遅くタクシーで仙台駅から乗りましたが1,400円くらいでした。
室内は綺麗で広く、3人がスーツケースを広げても充分でした。バスルームはトイレとお風呂が一緒のタイプです。バスタブは体育座りをするくらい狭いですが、冬はあるだけありがたいので良かったです。リンスインシャンプーとボディソープだけなので、トリートメント持参の方が良いです。アメニティはフロント前で各自必要なものをもらうタイプ。パイル地浴衣(膝丈)は助かりました。フロントの方たちも親切で、巡回バスの乗り方など教えていただきました。また次回も利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。"

"The hotel was simple, and the front staff were very friendly, and though the room was clean, it was one of the smallest I have stayed at. It seems to be quite an old hotel, but it’s nicely kept and the location is really good. Several convenience stores close by, and the Sendai station is also an walking distance. The lack of amenities was a disappointment, and during a pouring rain there were no umbrellas available, which was a downer.
Having said that, I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel if it’s available during my trip (I do travel to Sendai regularly)

"Jag bodde här för ett spelevenemang. Tofflorna i rummet var smutsiga, så jag kontaktade dem och de fixade det. Jag är inte säker på om det var återanvändbara tofflor, men jag tror att de hade varit bättre om de varit engångstofflor."

"Location a little away from the centre, no that easy to get to but in a quiet residential area. Very friendly staff with good service. Also allowed to leave baggage after check in. The lady who helped with that also had perfect English. Unfortunately I ended up at a time where the prices were extortionate due to some event happening but this was the most affordably priced option without sacrificing too much, also one of the very few with rooms available at that time too. Happy with this and would recommend if you don't mind a bit of distance to the centre."

FFoshA stroke of bad luck left us stranded in Sendai when the JR East Shinkansen network was suspended. As the night wore on with no trains in sight, we grew anxious. By 11:30 p.m., we decided to book a hotel for the night. Thankfully, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise — newly and tastefully renovated, cosy, and functional. The highlight was the lounge, which offered complimentary beverages and a play area for kids — an unexpected but welcome touch. Like most hotels in Japan, it provided complimentary toiletries, but this one went a step further with facial masks and bath salts — a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more relaxing.

It’s the nicest hotel I have stayed in Japan for the price I paid.
The hotel’s bed is slightly fixed higher to allow storage of luggages. This is very convenient for travellers with larger luggage. We had two 30mins luggage and had no problem roaming around the room.
The amenities provided here is of better quality as well. Feels nice to the skin.
It was New Year’s Eve yesterday and the hotel prepared soba noodle for everyone. Felt so warm after a long chilly day in Sendai!
Overall. Great stay!

There is a famous grilled beef tongue across the hotel.
There is also convenience store nearby.
I think the coin laundry is so expensive, it’s 700 yen.

JJasper Ng KRThis hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.
Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!
Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry. Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

15sqm room was small, difficult to fully open suitcases. The bathroom has tight space & the shower tub is too high so need to be careful when stepping in or out & there's no safety rail to hang on to.
The breakfast buffet has roughly same items daily, only minor changes in fruit/vegetable juices & some other items. They provide takeaway boxes for breakfast food to eat in your room or on the trains if you are travelling so that's a big plus.

AAnonym användareHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.

very good dinner buffet with snow crabs daily. Buffet breakfast limited spread but OK
Problem is other main attractions are far and need to take bus/taxi.
The Akiu traditional craft village/park was a big disappointment with no visitors and only few shops opened. Not worth going at all

JJoyee LaiHotel Green Plus has a very strategic location, within walking distance to Sendai Station. It is easy to reach even with luggage, as there is a lift accessible from the skywalk.
The hotel is located in a lively covered shopping street and is directly opposite the famous Ichiran Ramen, which makes dining and shopping extremely convenient.
Although the main entrance has stairs, there is actually a hidden lift that provides access to the hotel lobby and guest rooms, which is very helpful for guests with luggage.
The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. A young lady at the reception patiently helped me make several calls to my desired restaurant to assist with a reservation. A male receptionist even helped carry my luggage to the shopping street, which was truly impressive and very touching.
Overall, a convenient stay with warm service and excellent location. Highly recommended

TTravelightPerfect hotel location. A few steps to the shopping streets, restaurants, groceries, and convenient stores. A few minutes walk to train stations. Hotel was clean and we were given a family room instead of just a double bed room with windows facing the main road where the shopping streets are. Staff were all nice.Price was reasonable as it was not a busy season. Breakfast was reasonable for the price. Would love to stay again next time we are on that side. Thank you.
