The boat dock has 2 chairs for sitting and enjoying coffee as you watch the sunrise each morning over the water and count the resident starfish that frequent our beach.Also only steps away you will find Kaibo Restaurant / bar / marina and a short walk further down is the famous Starfish Point. A nice walk, bike ride or very short (1/2 mile) drive will take you to Rum Point and all of the amenities there (bio bay tour, snorkeling, beach bar, restaurant, Red Sail Sports, gift shop and more). Just up the road within 20 minutes drive you can experience all of the north side and east end experiences such as Crystal Caves,, Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens, Diving Excursions, the Mastic Trail and the Blow Holes at East End. The pool also has a shallow pool perfect for small children.The snorkeling right off the condo and all along the northshore in Cayman Kai is the best on Grand Cayman. The reefs start in about 5 feet of water and extend out to about 25 feet and are loaded with reef fish, plus you'll see large mature conch, varying sizes of lobsters and an occasional octopus. The water in front of the condo is natural landscape. The beach itself is all white sand, but can be rocky as you enter the water. swim shoes are recommended. great snorkeling can be found right off our beach for the more experienced swimmers, Rum Point beach, a short drive down the road, has calmer shallow water for all ages.
