The walls aren't soundproof however during my stay it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I'd definitely choose this hotel again."

The room was new, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, and ample parking is available. It would be even better if a water dispenser were provided."

"Location is just a short walk away from Jonker Walk, and much more peaceful during the weekend. Interior is beautifully decorated. Be sure to let the hotel know if you're not very mobile as some levels require going up and down a few steps (there is an elevator but some rooms are at split floors). The hotel is much more spacious than I expected. There's even parking available (don't know if it requires an additional fee - we didn't drive). Breakfast was included with our stay, with a good selection of food in the buffet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when in Melaka."

"The location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming.The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent."

OOoi Ee TingExceed my expectations! I got the standard twin bed room. Room is clean, well maintained and has all the basic necessities. The common area has a lot of seatings to chill, and the pool is clean too! The most greatest plus point of this place is its location, you can walk to Jonker Street, Dataran Pahlawan & Mahkoda Parada mall and A Famosa.

A stylish boutique homestay with character, good decor, natural light, comfortable bed.
Helpful staff who are friendly and willing to assist.
Quiet nights despite being fairly central; good place if you want peace but still be near what Melaka offers.
Free parking is a plus. Free snacks/drinks/refreshments in the common area are often mentioned.
Toothpaste is not provide, please bring your own.
If your room is upstairs, there will be stairs and no lift.

DDihaw DbaI had a minor accident in front of the hotel lobby—I hit the cement curb/bollard in front of the hotel, resulting in a slight scratch/damage to a floor tile (and this particular tile already had several previous damages from other people hitting it before).
Subsequently, an Indian staff member (identified as a supervisor by his colleague) came and took pictures of the damaged tile. The issues I have with his conduct are as follows:
He started chatting with a Chinese customer while pointing out the minor damage and simultaneously pointing towards my car, smiling and chuckling slightly as if mocking or being sarcastic.
Then, another Chinese man (possibly a customer or staff) approached, and he again showed the damaged tile, smiling and chuckling lightly while pointing at my car. My issue here is: there were also Malay customers present; why did he choose the Chinese customers to point out this issue to, but not the Malay customers?
He then approached me and said: ”You have hit and damaged this tile, and you need to know that I will report this to the hotel owner, and you should know that the owner of this hotel is a Chinese person, and I am certain you will have to pay for the damages.” What is the implication of saying, 'the owner of this hotel is a Chinese person'?
I asked why he needed to make a scene and involve other customers to talk about the incident while laughing lightly and smiling as if being condescending, and why this incident was being exaggerated when he himself was aware and had mentioned that customers frequently hit that cement curb.
Is it now my turn to be made to pay for the damage, after it has been hit multiple times by other customers previously?
Am I being made a scapegoat to settle the costs of previous incidents?
Where is the commitment to excellent Customer Service in terms of maintaining a customer's 'dignity' or 'reputation' (air muka) in front of other patrons?
He made a fuss as if I had brought down the whole building.
I am attaching photos of the tile damage and other pre-existing damages.

- Located at the entrance of Jonker Street, and walking distance to the center of the historical city ... the main advantage
- food outlets are as close as next door, Hard Rock Melaka is just around the corner
- clean room and bathroom
- access into the premise, to the specific floor and to the room by card only
- filtered water (hot and cold) is provided at the ground floor
- good soundproofing between rooms and corridor
- basic amenities are provided, others can be requested
- brief check-in and check:out process
Cons
- no parking is a major disadvantage given if you are traveling with young children or senior citizen. Also it is not easy to find public carparks in this part of the town
- fridge available but takes forever to chill
- noises from the Jonker and loud music from trishaws can be heard ... but not so much of a cons if considering choosing the location for the lively atmosphere. There's always a middle room with no window if one prefers a quiet room

SSimans HewGood hotel with decent cleanliness & breakfast included in the room package. Would recommend should you need a short stay.
Room & toilet : spacious with a king bed & 4 pillow provided. Iron & iron board provided in a room with spacious space for big luggage / working space. Toilet have no shower screen, old painting started to peel off. Towel provided. No designated parking for hotel but Majlis parking available in front of the hotel (payable via apps on day time).
Breakfast : great selection of breakfast - Nasi Lemak, Kurt Teow Goreng, Wedges, Fried sausages, coffee tea, cereal, bread, salad station, fruits, soup/mee station. Only downside no egg station
Other downside is you have to pay for RM10 should you need extra pillow
Location wise is great - 5 minutes walk to local tourist attractions like A Famosa etc. lots of Adam Pedas shop selection within the hotel location as well. 10-15 mins walk to Mahkota Parade, local mall.

I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

BBohari YaacobWhat u see in the photos are true. Clean and tidy apartment with plates n bowls nicely laid out on the dining table. Easy check in/out and free parking. Management is efficient in communication and kind enough to grant late check out. They have an arcade n pool tables room/late nite snacks counter at the ground floor which closes at 12am. They also have a stall selling cup corns and waffles. Pool is big and exciting especially for kids. The adult pool and kids pool are separated with nice view n close at 10pm. Security guards are friendly. Will come again next time!

Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot.
The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away.
The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip.
The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents.
Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!

AAnonym användareSmoke smell in the room and toilet, although this is a non smoking room. We have to use our own air freshener. Better bring own towels as the towels provided are quite old. Room is spacious. There is a ceiling fan in the family room, as the aircon is not cold enough.
Breakfast is decent. However, I would suggest hotel to provide jam and butter in individual pack instead of in big bowls. It is not very hygiene for everyone to use the same spoon to scoop and spread it on the bread near the toast area.
The hotel is about 10 mins drive to Aeon mall. Ample car park space behind the hotel and it is free.
The lift is quite old and looks like going to break down anytime when you are inside.
