第一次和閨蜜妹妹到阿姆斯特丹匆匆一遊，晚間8點多到達酒店，在非常安靜的小河邊，本以為蠻偏僻的位置，沒想到第二天走了一圈才知道酒店周邊都是景點：安妮佛蘭克小屋和鬱金香博物館，教堂和運河遊艇中心和小廣場。 前台接待員金髮妹妹熱情友好，介紹了房間和餐飲以及電梯待維修的狀況，還推薦了附近的本地餐廳，幫忙打了電話去訂位，中國老闆的員工培訓做得很到位噢👍驚喜的是四樓小套房不僅面朝運河美景，更有女生心心念唸的熱水壺✌好喜歡酒店🗝標誌🤩 西式早餐選擇豐富，熱飲冷飲都有。餐廳環境小巧温馨，背景牆上的插圖很有校園黑板報的既視感。因為當天是我的生日，閨蜜妹妹用酒店提供的拍立得拍了合影照片做紀念，酒店員工，一個漂亮的大長腿姐姐主動來幫忙，非常nice。早上11點按時退房，行李可以寄存在前台。 坐了遊船🚤逛完城區回到酒店，在餐廳休息，吃了新鮮出爐的糕餅，喝了熱乎乎的☕️，前台幫忙叫了taxi去機場，臨走前還送了一袋小食，真的太貼心了！期待下次再回來😘

The location is not the most central and to get to old town, on needs to walk and catch ferry or metro. The breakfast buffet was good value and plenty of choices for most people. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The church hotel idea is interesting, and the workers were really nice. 🥰🥰 However, in my opinion, this place doesn’t deserve $155. When I booked it, I was on the way and made the reservation quickly. I knew the room would be small, but not this small. It wasn’t just small, the main wall was slanted, which made the usable space extremely narrow. I immediately took a picture of the toilet upon entering, as it had a yellow stain inside. The beds were comfortable, but there was no closet, not enough hangers, and the bathroom was extremely small with a tiny sink, making it impossible to place a toothbrush or makeup bag. The location is not bad, but you do have to walk at least 20 minutes (and 4 minutes with ferry) to reach Central Station. If you take the train, it’s about 11 minutes of walking plus 2 minutes on the train. Overall, in my opinion, the price paid definitely does not match the quality offered.

I arrived at like midnight but luckily there’s someone at the reception 24/7. The hotel is at an excellent location, it was ok to push my suitcase over from Amsterdam central station, I think it took 10minutes yet I was shocked to see the very steep staircase because I had a 26” 22kgs big suitcase with me, along with a 7 kgs hand card travel bag, 6kgs backpack. There’s absolute no way I’d be able to carry all that up stairs without tumbling down and getting injured before I could reach the reception desk. Thankfully, the male staff who work at the front desk were all nice and willing to help, ie 1st time for bringing all my baggage from the bottom of the steps at the entrance up to my room during which we encountered even more steep stairs to reach the room; 2nd time was when I had to check out, I left my suitcase outside the room and needed staff to help me bring it down to the reception storage; 3rd time was from reception down to the bottom at the entrance, otherwise I would not have able to stay at the hotel with all my bulky and heavy baggages. It’s an old hotel so soundproofing maybe a bit of a problem, like I could hear floor boards creaking but it’s bearable and I had a good sleep. I had bit of a hard time finding my room, it felt like a maze in a boat or an anthill, but staff showed me the way to my room. The view outside the window was wonderful, Van Gogh museum and rijksmuseum were within walking distances like under 40 minutes. It’d be even if they provided a water kettle, but I was happy that they actually have tv and air con! I’d stay here again, just that I better not bring a big suitcase next time. Thank you to the 3 staff I encountered on October 10th and 11th!

The location was effortless, close to everything yet calm enough to breathe after long meetings. The canals, the rhythm of bicycles, the soft sound of the city in the morning, everything seemed to move in harmony. The room was clean, warm, and simple in a way that felt grounding. After days filled with conversations and deadlines, returning to that space felt like a quiet reset. The staff were genuinely kind, always ready to help with a smile that made every interaction feel human. There is a sense of quiet care that you can feel, and it stays with you. Thank you Ibis Amsterdam for being more than a hotel. You were a pause, a reminder that even in the middle of business and movement, there is always space for stillness and heart.

Läget är super men det finns ingen kaffeservering och källarrummen var inte särskilt vänliga för personer med vissa funktionshinder.

Really nice hostel by Oostpark! It is huge, with several rooms, so it's easy to meet other people or mind your own business if that's your appetite. They had a nice cafe/bar, super friendly and upbeat staff, and plenty of open areas. It is close to a big market with an AH/Lidl, close to couple tram stops, and is in a somewhat calm and less touristy area of the city.

The Hotel Library has an unbeatable location and room size! Spacious big bed, enough walking space in the room and nice bath/toilet size too. Location wise it is on the very main road - walking distance of 8-9 minutes from Centraal Station and opposite to the floating Chinese restaurant. The views of the road from our room were really amazing too. Its heater quickly heats up the room. TV is okay size and has few English channels - who doesn’t like to watch a TV in the hotel room before going to bed! Their room service is good - they make the bed and give fresh towels. There are few things that kind of take away one or two stars: - the elevator, though we are happy that they have one, but the one installed is very slow and you have to keep the buttons pressed and if you take the fingers off it stops midway - we asked for top floor since the views are always nicer from a height and they gave us the 3rd floor (top most) however, the hotel must clarify that after 2nd floor there is no elevator to the 3rd floor and to top it up, the stairs to the 3rd floor are so steep they reminded me of exercise called spiderman mountain climbers! - their room service team however do not clean the area around the kettle. We had sugar dropped and used cups kept and they wouldn’t clean on daily basis saying the cups are to be cleaned by the guests - this was shocking! I expect this to be part of cleaning duty irrespective whether i stay one night or four! - TV channels - out of the few that they have most of them wouldn’t air any content and just names of the channel which is quite irritating when you are given only two-thee channels to flip through. Overall i rate it a 3.5 / 5 for the staff at the reception were really polite - all of them! Happy to recommend this!

Det var en fascinerande 3-dagarsresa. Jag gillade verkligen hotellet och personalen… De välkomnade en i receptionen med ett stort vänligt leende. De gav två magneter vid incheckningen och 3 nyckelringar vid utcheckningen som presenter. Hotellets läge är mycket nära (7-8 minuter för mat) Sloterdijk station, där man har tillgång till tåg, tunnelbana, spårvagn, kollektivtrafik och internationell buss. Rummet var rent. De bytte handdukar och städade rummet den andra dagen. Sängen var så bekväm och tillräckligt stor. Det fanns också en mikrovågsugn, kylskåp, vattenkokare och kaffe-/tepåsar… Det enda som saknas är luftkonditionering och hårtork. Det fanns en fläkt som fungerar men verkar inte vara tillräckligt för att kyla ner rummet. Om jag kommer till Amsterdam en gång till kommer jag att bo där igen.

We stayed at this hotel with our child. Overall the stay was fine and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept well. The area is great – quiet, safe and close to shops and cafés. However, the room was a bit cold and our child got chilly at night. There were no carpets on the floor, so our socks were always getting dirty and the floor felt dusty. The breakfast was also quite weak, with a rather limited selection. In general it was an okay stay, but with a warmer room, better floor cleanliness and a stronger breakfast, the experience could be much better.
