"The hotel is centrally located in Oslo, with many major attractions just a short walk away, which made exploring the city very convenient. The room was okay and comfortable enough for our stay. However, during winter it could feel quite cold since the heating system is centralized and not individually adjustable.
That said, we truly loved the breakfast!! There was a great variety of food, and the free-flow coffee was definitely a highlight for us. It was so nice to be able to enjoy as many cups as we wanted, especially on cold winter."

"Good location around 5min walk from Oslo S station. Breakfast range was good enough. No cleaning for short stays, but daily fresh towels is offered. Room size is comfortable enough, with several hooks & decent counter space. Room is too dim though, not enough lighting. Only 1 pillow each, which is a little too soft."

"The hotel was nice, sustainable culture supportive, staff are extremely welcoming and very helpful, close to the city center. The room felt extra small for me that I could not believe it, however, warm and good enough for a 1 night crash, did not need to switch on the heater, temp was just right! One thing I really missed is the the English language option in TV, everything else was as expected."

"I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient.
The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained.
The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties.
Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!"

Badrum med tvättmaskin, våra tvättade kläder torkades över natten och hängdes upp i badrummet på grund av golvvärme. Enkel och snabb incheckning trots att det inte finns någon reception. Det finns personal på plats - jag fick extra handdukar så fort jag frågade. Jag skulle definitivt bo här igen om jag återvände till Oslo."

"Hotel is located just 2 mins walk to Oslo Central Stn. Also close to city centre, shopping mall and cafes nearby. Room and bed are comfortable. Spacious enough to fit my big luggage and hang my jackets. I like how the bathroom floor is heated so I don't feel cold walking on it at night. Generally a good stay and I would book this place again next time."

"Vi hade en kort men trevlig vistelse natten innan vi åkte till flygplatsen. Vi kom sent men incheckningen var smidig och kvinnan i receptionen var trevlig. De gjorde av misstag bäddsoffan i fel rum men rättade till det snabbt när vi ringde, trots att det var sent på natten. Litet men bekvämt rum för en familj på fyra med en fantastisk frukost. En lätt promenad till tågstationen för att bege dig till flygplatsen. Skulle definitivt stanna här igen och rekommendera till familjer som letar efter ett centralt, rent och prisvärt boende! Tack för en trevlig vistelse!"

GGästanvändareDet är ett rent och bekvämt hotell. Det finns en terrass på taket och utsikten över Oslo därifrån är fantastisk! Personalen är vänlig och får dig att känna dig välkommen. Det säljs bara enkla måltider i lobbyn, men smörgåsarna var förvånansvärt läckra. Platsen är lite ensam med tanke på att det är mitt i staden, men du kan gå till centrum inom några minuter.

GGästanvändareI had an incredible experience at Scandic Go hotel in Oslo. When my Finnair flight to Dubai was canceled, the reception manager went above and beyond. She contacted Oslo airport, explained the situation, and spoke directly to Finnair. Because of her efforts, Finnair took responsibility and rebooked me on Emirates. Thanks to them, I was able to reach Dubai safely. I especially want to highlight the care and attentiveness of the reception manager. She was incredibly kind, professional, and quick to act. I could not have asked for better support, and I am truly grateful. 💜💜💜

NnataliexloGreat location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice.
However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms.
Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

GGästanvändareCozy room and amazing hot shower throughout the day. We reached the hotel early around 12noon and got early check-in as well.
Breakfast was amazing. Front office staff was super friendly and helpful, welcomed us with warm smile and greetings (i forgot her name - long black hair).
The surrounding area may seem dull BUT it was safely with many people walking about. 5min walking distance to pretty much anywhere (tram/metro/restaurants). There's a 7/11 just across the hotel for extra convenience.

AAI CHEN CHUALocation is really good. In the middle of the shopping street and very close to the train station. Room is very clean and they provide small helpful items that you may need such as a water bottle. Bed is single size. I didn't know that the check in can be done via their website to get the access code. But I managed to sort it out soon.

BBennett HonThe location is super convenient, 2 min and 10 min walk from metro and Oslo Sentral Station respectively. But the district is full of immigrants especially from the Middle East. Worthy to mention that the area around is quiet old and dirty. The room is well equipped with kitchen facilities that we can cook the meal in the evening. The lobby has a receptionist handling requests.

GGästanvändareTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The stove hob didn't work and they fobbed us of with electronic responses and broken promises for our total stay of 3 days. On the last night they asked us if we would consider changing apts if one became available. What a joke the place was empty You could shoot a cannon and not hit anyone. If they did not have maintenance available they could have offered the change on the first
Night . Lots of food wasted because we had no cook top.
No front desk means that there is no one to complaint to. Their Automated electronic responses to service requests provides appalling customer service. Emails and emergency phone calls don't generate responses either. A disappointing stay.
