"One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The place feels so warm and homely that you instantly feel at ease. I met so many incredible people here who love to travel and are open to new experiences.
The hostel team truly puts their heart and soul into everything. They help with tours, give great local tips, and organize activities at very good prices. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, breakfast is delicious, and the chef is wonderful.
It feels very safe and friendly. You don’t even feel the need to lock anything. Perfect place for solo travelers who want to meet new people.
The location is great too. You can take the A1 bus from the airport to Azaiba. There are several affordable restaurants nearby. Talk to the front desk and they’ll help you find others to explore Oman with or share rides for trips.
I had the best time here. Highly recommend it."

"Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2 nuits avec vue sur piscine pour terminer notre périple de 15 jours à Oman. La jeune employée nous a proposé une chambre avec vue sur la rue â notre arrivée. Déception! On lui a fait savoir et cette erreur a été réparée de suite. Belle piscine oû l'on peut vraiment nager, excellent petit déjeuner, literie confortable, belle plage à proximité et excellent service de ”car Wash” à la station shell à proximité pour restituer notre vehicule de location avant le retour dans la grisaille de l'automne en France. Beaucoup de charme pour cette grande demeure familiale réaménagée oû l'on a pu se reposer comme à la maison!"

It would be nice to have more variety in the breakfast For guests staying several days having the same breakfast every morning can get a bit boring.
As a woman who wears the hijab, I couldn’t really enjoy the swimming pool. I think it would be great if there could be a couple of hours in the morning just for women, so everyone can have the chance to use the pool comfortably."

The room is clean but not as spacious as I expected. It is reasonably priced though, including breakfast.
I had trouble with my booking in the first day as they couldn't validate my payment immediately and was given a twin room instead of a king room. All is sorted out the next day though and I am thankful.
They can improve in monitoring their online booking system and in soundproofing their rooms as it gets noisy in the morning.
Over all, it was a plesant stay. Value for money is unbeatable.

GGästanvändareHow can I put it… I initially came to this hotel for 4 nights, and then I had planned to stay at other hotels. However, I had to cancel twice on site, at hotels that were supposedly higher rated and with more stars, because the value for money was not worth it. So I returned to the Platinium Hotel, where I ultimately stayed for two weeks, and which is really very well located. The hotel is on a street overlooking Souq Al Khuwair and Maha Street, where many restaurants can be found. The beach is a 15-minute walk, the Grand Mall and Avenue Mall are 25 minutes on foot, and the Grand Mosque is 45 minutes away by walking. We did everything on foot. Additionally, Muttrah Souq and Qurum are only 15 minutes away by taxi. Thanks to this ideal location, we ultimately didn’t rent a car. But the main reason we came back to this hotel is that we couldn’t find that same family-like, warm welcome anywhere else. The staff is incredibly attentive.
Even though the breakfast isn’t very varied, we really appreciated the service. In particular, the breakfast staff: Rajkumar and Schola, who impressed us greatly with their professionalism and attention to detail, as well as others whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch. They were exceptional, attentive, and always smiling. I will definitely come back here and recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues.

GGästanvändareNice location in quiet residential area near beach. Hotel has limited parking on site. Public areas and rooms were clean. Receptionist tried to reduce to a single room from the double that I had booked. Pointed this out and was given a double ...... next to the lift, despite the hotel being practically. Poor soundproofing meant that I could hear every conversation in the corridor.
Tried the pool which is on the second floor in the middle of the hotel. No towels available. I did ask a member of staff but none were forthcoming. Restaurant was empty and no bars were open as it was Eid. Service was polit and there was an extensive menu. Additional guidance on the menu explaining the dishes would have been helpful.
Bar and restaurant downstairs also closed.
Breakfast service staff were helpful and offered alternative options which were not laid out on buffet.

IIsmail_ahamedMy overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush.
Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM.
I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support

Bedsheets were changed almost daily and room was cleaned daily, but every day we either didn’t get any towels or just one, even though we were 2 people. Had to ask for soap/shower gel and hardly got one; no shampoo at all; no hairdryer; TV not working.

A special thank you to the receptionist and the bellman who welcomed us on arrival and helped with our luggage. He was very supportive and kind, making us feel comfortable from the very first moment.
