You will have complete access to the home.You can check yourself in with the key located in the lock box. We will provide you with the code a few days before your trip.There are two total bedrooms - 1 QUEEN bed in each room. The living room is equipped with a 55" smart TV. The home offers one full bathroom and is also equipped with a full kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen both have in-floor heating adjustable by thermostat.Parking available right on site - Maximum number of cars = 2. If you require more than 2 cars, please message me to inquire about availability.Our home was built in the 1930s, while still maintaining its shape, my family and I have worked tirelessly to make it a home where we can come to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. While we offer our home as a rental to our guests, we do have a few things we'd like to disclose to you prior to booking:- The bathroom door does not currently have a lock. The door itself closes but it is currently not capable of locking.- We have child proofed most outlets in the home with the option given to our guests to have more plugs available if needed. There is a baby/child gate available in the bedroom closet. We also have an infant inflatable bath tub and also a versatile bath tub. Even with these provided amenities the staircase as shown in the picture can be fairly steep and may pose a safety concern for toddlers.- Our home is equipped with a combi boiler. This is a modern efficient boiler that is VERY quiet, 95% efficient, thus reducing our carbon footprint which we are very happy about. The drawback to this is when showering - in order to maintain a steady flow of hot water, no other appliance that uses water should be used at the same time. This includes the dishwasher, laundry machines, faucets, even using the toilet may disrupt the hot water flow. This is very important as we would hate to have our guests be surprised if the hot water suddenly runs cold. We are very happy of our small cute getaway home but do know that certain guests have superior expectations. If you can accept these minimal flaws, then we are happy to host you and have you enjoy the comfort of our home. Our home is a continued work in progress and we are excited to continue adding to it to make it fun and relaxing for all of our guests. Let this cabin be your base camp for all the adventures the Adirondacks have to offer. You can keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom cabin that has a sweet 4 ft. x 20 ft. porch to sit and enjoy the backyard creek views. The backyard offers a variety of birds to watch by day over the creek wetlands and offers dark skies for star gazing at night. We have an economically stocked kitchenette, as well as a relaxing living room with smart t.v. and comfortable dining space.The cabin is located in a friendly neighborhood on a private street that provides a calm atmosphere with dark skies. You are set back but still in the middle of what the town has to offer.The cabin is situated in walking distance of many local attractions such as the quaint Main Street Restaurant, the award-winning Raquette River Brewery, along with two other bar/restaurants and two convenience store/gas stations. Our local "Little Wolf Beach" and The Wild Center are just a short drive around the corner and uptown. The beginning of the Rail-Trail/Junction Depot Walking Trail and Scenic Railroad Station are a short walk just around the corner. The local grocery and general stores are all within a 5 minute drive. When it comes to boating/paddling and mountain climbing, there are many different boat launch sites and mountains to climb.Each bedroom has a queen size bed that have 4 pillows each, an alarm clock that wirelessly charges your phone along with 2 lamps. The kitchenette is economically stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, various cooking utensils, BBQ utensils, a potato peeler, can opener, pizza cutter, kitchen scissors, mixing bowls, cutting boards, dish drying rack, hand towels, dish clothes, pot holders, a mini fridge/freezer combo, microwave/air fryer combo, keurig style coffee maker, toaster, garbage bags, dish soap, hand soap. The bathroom has a stand up shower that has shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a large medicine cabinet and is economically stocked with bath towels, wash clothes, hand towels, toilet paper, a bath mat, and hand soap. The living room has a couch that comfortably sits 3 adults, a 1 person recliner and a round coffee table.
