We absolutely loved our stay at The Kauai Inn! It has such a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere and feels way more authentic than the big resort hotels.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole property was lush and green — surrounded by mountains and palm trees. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
Location was perfect for exploring the island — close to Līhuʻe, but quiet and tucked away. We’d 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a more local, relaxed experience."

Aston Islander on the Beach ligger i Kapaa (i området Waipouli), en kvarts bilfärd från både Coconut Marketplace och Kauai Museum. Detta hotell vid stranden ligger 13 km från Nawiliwili Harbor och 1 km från Lae Nani Beach.
Här finns bland annat tillgång till utomhuspool och bubbelpool. Boendet har även gratis wi-fi, ett picknickområde och gasgrillar.
På Pool Bar, deras loungebar vid stranden, kan du beundra utsikten över poolen. Släck törsten med din favoritdrink i boendets bar vid poolen.

"No és el que sembla. És un hotel que té coses molt bones i d’altres que no tant.
Quan vam arribar ens van donar una habitació amb un llit doble i un sofà llit. Havíem reservat una habitació amb dos llits i ens van dir que això era problema de Trip. Que ells només garanteixen les vistes. Tot el mobiliari de fusta i molt antic. El sofà antic, amb matalàs prim i llençols foradats …
Finalment al dia següent ens van canviar a una habitació amb dos llits (i vistes al mar) que estava molt millor. No obstant els mobles eren antics igualment.
Aquí s’anuncia que la neteja de l’habitació és diària però no és cert. Netegen un sol dia per estances de mínim 5 nits. Si estàs menys dies i vols que et facin l’habitació, 50USD. Si vols tovalloles netes, 10USD.
L’hotel no té ascensors amb la qual cosa has de carregar les maletes fins a l’habitació (al pis que et toqui) per les escales.
Només arribar et cobren 147,45USD de taxes (amenity fee, ta tax, ge tax, county ta tax…).
Bones: ubicació privilegiada, davant de la platja (privada), amb restaurants, supermercats i botigues al costat. La carretera principal és allà mateix. Piscina amb hamaques i un bar (que obre a les 15h).
A l’habitació hi ha nevera, cafetera i microones."

"The two bedroom condo we got is pretty spacious and clean. Really love the in unit laundry and dryer. The kitchen has lots of untensiles and pots. I wish they could have some cooking oil and peppers as other Airbnb usually do. The check out time is 10:00 am which is unusually early."

Welcome to Serendipity Kauai-a fully remodeled 4 bed/3 bath home set in a lush tropical garden. Located on a quiet cul de sac, we are a few steps off the Poipu Kai greenbelt where you can walk to the fabulous surroundings: 5 min. to Shipwreck Beach, 10 min. to Poipu Kai pool, pickleball and tennis courts, 10-15 min. to Brennecke’s and Poipu Beach. The home is gorgeous, but ultimately the yard is the best part of this home, with lots of outdoor living.You will enter our 2100 square foot home through a private courtyard where we have a dining and seating area. Once inside the house you will find beautiful furnishings with plenty of seating and dining areas for you and your family. The chef’s kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need, including a wine fridge. We have a formal dining room and an eating nook inside the house. But we think you will spend most of your time dining outside in our tropical garden of a yard.We have air conditioning in each of the beautifully decorated 4 bedrooms. Master Suite #1 has a King, en suite bathroom and opens to its own private lanai in the backyard. Master Suite #2 has a King plus a twin daybed and an en suite bathroom that opens up to our gorgeous outdoor shower (note this bathroom also has a door into the shared spaces, but can be locked out). The 3rd bedroom is the party room with a King and Queen and easy access to a shared bathroom. The 4th bedroom has a Queen and easy access to a shared bathroom.As amazing as this house is, the lush yard and the lanais are really the stars here. You will be amazed at the tranquility and beauty of this little slice of paradise. The outdoor shower set amongst the beautiful lava rock allows everyone to get the sand off before coming inside the house. The various lanais give people room to spread out or come together at a central outdoor gathering spot.We provide 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach wagon to make it easy to walk to the fabulous beaches nearby. In addition, there are usually boogie boards, snorkel equipment and beach toys available at the house, depending on the prior guests, so check before buying anything.We have a laundry room off the kitchen. "This time that I stayed, there was not the best room. This is my fourth time staying there and the last trip I got to stay in the remodeled rooms which were great. This last trip. I stayed in the older one and the room was pretty stinky smelling like mildew, but it was just for one night "

Breakfast is grab n go, which means there's a pantry consisting of packaged muffin, cereal box, pastry, packaged milk just packaged everything. some fruits if you're early. Pls note if a hot cooked breakfast is important to you.
There's also a resort fee to cover bike rental, yoga class, and a water bottle (that we didn't end up using).
The resort is lovely and bathroom is clean. Nice view of ocean from the room but the beach is not v swimmable.

Location is great and the property is extremely clean and quiet. Our room was very outdated ( early 80's for furniture, carpet, bathroom) but clean and everything worked. It was spacious but bare minimum in kitchen for supplies, the coffee pot is super tiny. My only complaint is you can't extend your stay for late check out or additional day, that really impacts people on hikes and etc. We had to pack our stuff out (530am) and couldn't do late check out to come back to pack and shower. The young desk clerks stated policy for late check out was call morning of after 9am. That's ridiculous because most tourist are traveling across island exploring early. We asked at 815pm night before and staff couldn't give us late check out for next day, that's a deal breaker for us coming back to this property and was absolutely not willing to check or call management, for this reason I would avoid property if you have early tours or adventures. No one wants to pack out 5am without opportunity for late check out.
