Mill Valley is only 15 minutes north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. It's only a 5 minute drive to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1-3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking is nearby and kayaking tours of the Bay are available in Sausalito. It's an 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito where you can eat a meal by the water or stroll by the Bay on the Sausalito Marina. There are ferries to San Francisco leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur.A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore.The unit is on the ground floor (no stairs) of a 2 story, 3 unit building. It has a private entrance.There is a family living upstairs so expect to hear footsteps above when they are home.
