This clean, comfortable, simple "Shack" sits close to the water with free kayaks for guests to enjoy during their stay. Watch the river and deer from the screened porch, kayak up and downstream from the property, swim in the 8-foot-deep swimming area or wade in the shallows. Sit around the fire as owls call out and eagles and osprey soar through the valley. Bathe in the outdoor tub on the screened porch! The shack is comfortable, clean, and full of simple amenities, but it is not a luxurious accommodation. There is only one bed, so the shack is not suitable for families or groups. It's a great romantic spot for a couple or the lone-traveler seeking a beautiful and semi-secluded spot on the river. In the summer, you will enjoy watching groups of people float past in the afternoon! It gets especially busy on weekends and holidays in the summer. However, weekdays and off-season days are much quieter. From October to March, you will rarely see anyone else on the river and can enjoy the water by yourselves. March through May is mostly just weekend floaters.Additional notes on seclusion: This is the only rental on the 2-acre property. There are only two neighbors in the area, and they are separated by a lot of trees so your part of the river will feel secluded and private. There is a clean ranch across the paved road that hosts beautiful Brahmas. There is no development across the river giving you more shoreline and woods to explore. You may hear a lumber processing plant across the river in the distance through the trees and occasionally kayakers will treat you to their favorite tunes as they float by. The river is usually very quiet, allowing you to be alone on the water most days between September and May. However, weekends, holidays, and warm summer days sometimes bring a lot of tubers and kayakers to the water during the day. The shop sits on 2 acres of land with beautiful scenery and has a very private location. The outdoor area includes a small fire pit, with seating and string lighting that makes for the perfect evening hangout.The garage area is heated and cooled and makes a perfect space for entertaining large groups with its television and recliner couches. There is plenty of parking area for vehicle, boat, and atv storage during your stay on Lake Greeson. It includes an air hockey table and corn-hole set up.Charcoal Grill is stored in the garage, any additional seating that’s needed. The master bedroom has a king bed, large walk in closet, and a full master bath with a walk in shower. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a closet full of toys and books for kids.
