"Quiet and very nicely designed right in the middle of a bustling street!! Perfect to stay to explore Dali old town by foot. We came on spring festival weekend and Dali was quite busy but this hotel was perfectly located and very quiet and calm. The staff is great too. Super helpful and gave us great recommendations for drinks and activities around. The breakfast was also delicious with great coffee, local pastries and porridge. The room was spacious, very clean and totally quiet even if the street is noisy. Totally recommend!! Great price quality ratio."

"忘記拍圖了，房間很大很漂亮，早上可以曬太陽。
民宿在古城裡，但是不會太鬧市區，晚上很安靜。打車也能直接到民宿門口，出去逛也近。
大浴缸泡澡很舒服，空調有制熱功能，電熱毯。
着重表揚店家小哥，有事隨問立馬就有回覆。還借給我們電瓶車。"

"The hotel is located in the ancient town so its really walkable around however because its a busy area, getting a Didi is really difficult and traffic can be quite hectic. The hotel is down an alley that cars can get through so you'll need to walk about 50m to the door of the hotel.
Service on the other hand was really good. The owners accommodated to our needs -hiring a driver for us (around RMB350 for the whole day), getting tickets to the cable car as well as informing us of discounts that were available.
Their breakfast can get a little boring as everyday is the same thing so I'd recommend switching it up every 2 days especially for those staying longer.
It was definitely a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend."

"Stayed for four nights in a Deluxe Twin Room for three adults. The location is very convenient, close to East Gate. The room is spacious and well-equipped with an ironing board and iron, but the two double beds are a bit small for three adults and the mattresses are slightly bouncy.
The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and a very convenient laundry room with quick wash and dry options. Breakfast offers a good variety, though the taste is average.
Service could be improved—there’s no tour information desk or English materials, and the hotel does not offer help with booking larger transport or luggage transfer services.
Overall, a comfortable stay with good facilities, but there’s room for improvement in guest services"

LLeney c.Hotel as advertised. If you like the proximity to both the ancient town and Shuanglang, the location is perfect. As it is a small establishment, the staff are very attentive and easy to reach via Weixin prior to check in. During our stay they had also proactively offered afternoon snacks, mid night sweet soup AND your breakfast preference the following day.
The room is very spacous with 2 sides of the 'walls' replaced woth ceiling to floor glass. However, do be informed that the toilets and shower doors are transparent 🙈

GGästanvändareThis is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and welcoming, Cloud House! Appreciate you!!!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The view from my room was absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and willing to help with anything I needed.
One of the highlights was the free airport transfer, which made my travel stress-free and convenient. I had an early morning flight, and the hotel went above and beyond by packing a breakfast for me to take on the go. That thoughtful touch really made a difference.
Overall, I was very impressed with the level of service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great views, and exceptional service.

YYi Ching 貽凈Had the most pleasant stay at Yungu Guishu Inn! The hosts kindly upgraded our room and we couldn't be happier :”). The room was extremely spacious and it even had a balcony with a small lawn. The view from the balcony window was scenic and really beautiful. We could also see Cang Shan from the smaller windows facing the other side of the room, so that was really cool! The bed was comfortable and overall, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect:)
The inn is located very conveniently right along the main road, so the taxi could drop and pick us up easily. The inn is also within 3-5mins walking distance to and from Erhai Gate, which is also really near the main shopping and eating districts, which was also really convenient!
The hosts were also the nicest people who treated us with great hospitality. Before we even arrived, the hosts texted us via wechat to check in on us. Upon hearing that we didn't arrive with a concrete travel itinerary, the hosts also kindly recommended us places to go and wrote them down on post-its. Upon arrival, the hosts also kindly welcomed us with tea and refreshments, which we really appreciated! After coming back from a long day of travelling, the hosts also invited us to have even more tea with them, over which we accidentally chatted for hours until midnight 😂. My boyfriend and I are normally introverted and quiet people, so we're pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our conversations with the hosts! If you're looking for authentic local experiences, I think this is the best place you can stay in. :”)
Overall, we had a really really wonderful stay and we'll totally come back again. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay at Dali the best part of our trip! Everything was perfect. ❤️

GGästanvändareI would like to thank the hotel staff Wendy（赵颖）, during our recent stay at the hotel. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism truly made our holiday in China memorable and pleasant.
On the day of our departure, it was raining heavily when we checked out. Wendy went out of her way to assist us —*holding an umbrella and escorting us to our cab so that we would not get wet. This small yet heartfelt gesture perfectly reflected her dedication and kindness.
Wendy’s actions went far beyond what we expected. Her warmth, initiative, and genuine concern turned what could have been a simple hotel stay into an experience we will always remember fondly. Employees like Wendy truly embody the spirit of hospitality and represent your hotel at its very best.

AAnonym användareWe had a very great stay at Licheng Resort Hotel! The staff and boss were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and comfortable.
The location is excellent just a short walk to Dali Ancient City, very convenient yet still peaceful.
They prepared the specific room type we requested, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially loved that the bathroom has an automatic bidet, such a great detail! Breakfast was delicious and satisfying as well.
They kindly received our packages on our behalf, which was very helpful. We also had an issue with our charger adaptor, and they generously lent us theirs. On top of that, they arranged an early morning drop-off to the station for us, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, a fantastic stay with warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

It’s a great spot for a couple or even a small family. The hosts were amazing - so friendly and helpful. They went extra miles to make sure we felt totally at home.

AAnonym användareUpplevelsen var mycket bra. En privat butler kontaktade mig dagen före incheckning för att ordna med incheckningsdetaljerna. Det fanns också en buss till hotellet när jag anlände till Ideal Country Gate. I princip kunde jag be butlern att ordna en buss för varje resa. Incheckningen gick mycket snabbt, och jag var mycket nöjd med frukosten, välkomstfrukten, den söta soppan och de vackra bilderna från det natursköna området. Butler Xiao Zhaos service var mycket bra. Om jag hade några frågor fick jag svar inom några sekunder. Hotellets faciliteter och utrustning är mycket kompletta och hygienen är också ren.

Eeat.travel.sleep.repeatI truly enjoyed my stay here — to the point that I honestly had no heart to leave. The only downside is that the homestay is a little far from Dali Old Town, but once you see the view, you’ll realize it is absolutely worth it.
The service here is top-notch. The butlers were exceptional — very accommodating, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. One thoughtful gesture that really touched me was when they packed my breakfast the night before, knowing I had to check out early the next morning.
The photography session was another highlight. The photographers were so professional and amazing that I ended up purchasing all the photos, which says a lot about how happy I was with the experience.
I will definitely come back again — and next time, I hope to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, beautiful views, and genuinely warm service.

GGästanvändareVery nice owners and spacious room. We even got hot milk in the evening and plenty of drinks to stay hydrated and they helped us carry the suitcases. The room and hot tub itself is really nice, but the view shown on the booking itself is not the same as the real view. I attached a picture taken there to show you the real view. You can still see the pagoda, but note that it is hardly visibly in the dark (no lights on it) and there is an electricity cable in front of it, which makes the view less. For the rest the stay has been really nice and they did everything they could to make our stay pleasant, so I would really recommend it.
