"I booked this hotel as I had read good reviews. Indeed this B&B is impressive. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. There is even a bathtub next to the window with a view. You will need to contact the hotel owner prior to arrival at the village so that a porter will meet you at No. 6 风雨桥, which is located about 100 meters where the shuttle bus drop you at the entrance to the village. You will not be able to find your way to the hotel as the entrance to the hotel is rather hidden away. The two young chaps who picked us were extremely polite, cheerful and eager to serve. They carried our luggages where we walked to reach the station of a golf cart type of vehicle. You board the vehicle and alight at the first stop up the mountain (see picture 6). The simple breakfast fare of home-cooked noodle soup with minced pork, hard boiled egg, sweet corn and sweet potato was delicious. The soup base looked bland but it was very tasty. The location of this B&B is superb as you can walk down the slope to reach the village center in 10 minutes. Tip: we took the golf cart vehicle and travelled uphill and alighted at the end (Pastoral Sightseeing area) where there is roundabout for the vehicle to loop back to the terminal. It is recommended to alight here where you will see beautiful vast green pastures and lotus flowers were in bloom. You can then wait for the sightseeing bus (your entrance ticket would cover four sightseeing bus trips) at the opposite platform and it will bring you to the top viewing platform to see the whole village lighted up in the evening. To return to the hotel, you then take the sightseing bus back to the Pastoral Sightseeing area. From here you wait for the golf cart vehicle to transfer you back to the hotel. How I wish someone had posted these information on this Trip.com review platform as it was a bit confusing on how to take the different vehicles in the mountain. Lastly, thank you to the owner of this B&B for making our trip a memorable one."

"Great hospitality with amazing views! The staffs were so helpful and friendly. I contacted them through wechat in advance and they provided directions on how to enter the village. They will also help to carry the baggage to the hotel as it is located up on the hill. We even got a free upgrade to one of their best rooms! I would say the view from our room was the best you can find in the village. Overall the room is also clean and comfortable, with a beautiful tub that allows you to enjoy the view. They even served us afternoon tea, late night dessert and a hearty breakfast. Would definitely recommend 👍"

"I rarely spend my time writing reviews but the location of this hotel is in prime location located in middle of the mountain. It’s right next to the number 5 bridge which is dead center of the touristy area. After you book be sure to ask them for their WeChat so that you can communicate with you because they will come pick you up and drop you off before and after the trip. They carry all your luggage’s up and down the stairs. They are extremely nice and accommodating and the room is very clean. The view is absolutely amazing and the viewing deck is also very beautiful. Perfect for taking pictures. Not extremely crowded. For reference, I stayed in room 204. One small bed and one full size bed"

"The hotel has some cats around, some naturally comes in and out of the room, so it's better not having high expectations regarding cleanliness. The location is perfect: fantastic view, remote enough for not hearing the nightlife of the center but close enough to the main street. Just a short walk, only downside is that it's all stairs so ask the hotel staff to take your luggage up/down, they will help you."

"Though it is in the centre of the town, foot path to hotel is narrow and uneven. room is clean and upgraded to facing the valley, which lighted at night. No food service in this establishment. To get here, from North entrance, take the bus to the end. then walk 400m along the river, wait at the ABC (agriculture Bank of China) for hotel staff to help you carry the bag. If you can not contact the hotel, proceed to next alley with few steps up, you see Fire Department and Firetruck, then turn left , there is a arch with Sign of Boyun hotel, turn right follow the sign up. not recommended for people with walking impairment /large suitcase/poor eye sight or rainy day. We had our suitcase deliver to north gate . 15rmb each."

"Detta pensionat förhöjde verkligen vår resa! Rekommenderas starkt! Jag var först orolig för att bo på ett pensionat i byn Miao, orolig för förhållandena, men som tur var valde vi det här. Utsikten från fönstret var fantastisk, till och med bättre än från utsiktsdäcket. Vi kunde se föreställningarna på huvudgatan direkt från nedervåningen, och läget var inte långt från busstationen. Butlern ordnade omsorgsfullt transport under hela vår vistelse. Vid incheckningen njöt vi av ett överdådigt afternoon tea med massor av frukt och en mängd olika drycker. Det mest fantastiska var mango-millefeuille-desserten – verkligen autentisk! Frukosten var också riklig, och en soppa med röda dadlar och vita svampar levererades till vårt rum innan vi gick och la oss. Butlern bjöd till och med på öl åt oss den kvällen. All personal var otroligt artig och omtänksam – så omtänksam!"

"We chose this hotel instead inside the miao village because accessibility ( guess its suited for the elders or tour groups) because we dont have to walk-up steps with the other hotels inside the village but I heard reviews the staff of the other hotels inside village will come pick you up and help you with luggage, anyway the impression of the hotel is very big, as with the rooms, Room is clean and the bed is comfortable, Water is quite strong in shower, Breakfast area is very big, the food is so so, due lots of dishes not hot enough, its cold may be the warmers the lids not closed, Overall its pleasant stay."

"It was a wonderful experience. We got to stay at the most expensive room. The room was spacious having two bathrooms and a big bathtub. From the room, we got to see the panoramic view of the village. First and foremost, the service was excellent. There was a welcome drink and fruit, as well as rice cakes after coming back to the hotel. The staff helped us to carry our luggage to the bus stop too."
