There r people who will assist in teaching us how to use the washing & dryer w all the liquid detergent , softener & disinfect liquid available
The room is very clean n it's aircon , bed & tv r on top standards.
The location is opposite the central square and tHere are plenty of space to do exercise other then their gym..

BBill LeThe property is conveniently located about 1.5 km from Kunming Railway Station, making it an ideal choice for travelers heading to Lhasa via the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast offered a variety of tasty dishes.
The reception staff were very helpful and enthusiastic; they assisted us in hailing a taxi and communicating with others. They gifted us some small cute things as thankful for customers. Highly recommend to others.

GGästanvändareTypical good Hampton by Hilton standard. Good price-performance. The breakfast is very suitable for western taste. They have a tiny gym with two running machines, a spinner and dumbbell bar. We can recommend to visit the big mosque and the Muslim market around or the ******* cultural museum. GGästanvändareI chose Park Plaza as it was convenient to both the train station and airport.
The price was also excellent value for money.
My train from Lhasa arrived at 6.30am and I caught a taxi the short distance to Park Plaza without issue.
I checked in around 7am and was shown my room.
It was beautiful, very spacious with a large window,
and it also had a freestanding bath.
Unfortunately I could smell cigarette smoke, which is not uncommon in Chinese hotels.
I asked for a different room and was immediately shown one .
This room was identical but the bed covers were a children's design and there were some toys and teepee in one corner . I simply folded the bright yellow covers down and had a lovely tasteful decor again.
The bed was extremely comfy and the room was very quiet.
The buffet was beyond excellent and the head chef and his small team were very friendly and attentive.
Clearly they were very proud of their fabulous buffet and presentation....as they should be. It was my best in China..
I found a lovely walking trail behind the hotel beside the river, 5 mins away.
The area in general was nice to wander around, very different from my stay in the centre of city when on my way to Tibet.
I will most definitely choose Park Plaza when I return to Xining.

GGästanvändareWe really enjoyed our stay at the Mehood Hotel in Xining. The location is excellent — perfect for a stop before and after our trip to Yushu. As with many centrally located hotels, drop-off and pick-up are a short walk from the entrance, but this wasn’t an issue for us.
The lifts are shared and can get a bit busy at times, but once on the hotel floor, it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast offers a good variety, mostly Chinese dishes, but the staff were understanding and didn’t mind us bringing extra food for the children. The staff were consistently friendly and especially kind to our kids, which made our stay even more pleasant. I really appreciated the laundry room with washing machines — being able to do our own laundry was such a bonus during our travels. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff quickly moved us to a cooler room on the other side of the hotel, which we really appreciated.
Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Xining. We’d happily come back!

Tthe_wanderlust_jellyWas told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance.
However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated.
Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea.
Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

GGästanvändareHad a Wonderful Stay . My stay at Enraton Hotel was made truly memorable thanks to the helpful and attentive staff, especially Alan at the front desk. He even helped with my luggage, arranging pickup and drop-off. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a team of staffs that genuinely cares about guest satisfaction.

GGästanvändareThe hotel had a gym, cafe, and a morning breakfast buffet. The room was large and gave a nice view of the city. The staff helped with any questions or requests. They helped me setup their address in the Chinese delivery app *******. They also turned up the heating in the room when I requested that too. The buffet is norming 58 RMB per day, for the food offered this is quite high. The bread was stale and a lot of the food was cold or had an old taste too it. Luckily I was there in the winter when it was free and had no cost. Perhaps in the summer with the cost of 58 RMB the food is fresher. However, I would say that the food available had a lot of variety, with both Chinese and Western options.

GGästanvändareThis is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices.
First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town.
Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels.
Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing.
I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices.
