Yitel Yangzhou on Qionbhuz building is one of the best hotel experience we had when we traveled Jiangsu province of China in the month of March 2025. The hotel is situated near the city center and shows warm hospitality on our arrival and continues surprising us with great services, including room, laundry, travel and dining. We were assigned a room butler Chienchien and the sweet girl provided us with abundant travel information about Yangzhou. One rainy night, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and got an opportunity to chat with the restaurant manager Mr. Chen. Not only he offered us the super dining service, he also talked with us on local news and stories about Yangzhou, good recommendation of traditional food and heritage restaurant, plus the travel tips on visiting Slender West Lake and Great Canal Museum, which are the famous city sites. Overall, we stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful first visit on Yangzhou because of the hospitality from this hotel. I highly recommend the stay for anyone traveling to the city.

Hotel is on Pishi Street, iconic cobbled stones street that is for shopping and photo taking. Hotel staff called the day before checking in, and pulled us into a wechat group that tells us the landmark to take car to, what to do if we drive, and some recommendations for food if we need. They also ask if we have a ETA so that they know and are ready for us. When we reached, their staff brought me to my room, helped me carry my box luggage up to the 2nd floor of the side alley. He helped me set up the aircon (it was originally set to heater mode) and also set up wifi. There is water provided in the fridge at lobby. Apparently the lobby will be locked after 10.30pm and have to access from small side glass door by keycard. Cute and furry cats in the lobby. They provided fruits on the 1st day of stay. Place is convenient and very clean. They provided facial products and even eye masks. Very well put together place and totally justify the price you pay. We just have to wechat them and they will immediately respond. Upon check out, the girl at the counter helped me bring down my heavy luggage again. I had some issues with the lock of the door the 2nd day and they immediately rectified it, and also switched me to a next door room. Thank you to the young chap and young girl at lobby for all the helpful help. Thank you for the lovely stay. Will recommend u to friends if they ask for recs.

Excellent hotel service wise. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Best staff I have encountered so far in china, right from cleaning staff to front desk, very cheerful and helpful. During check-in was immediately served water and while checking out even received a small gift. The staff personally sees off the guest to the taxi. 👍👍👍 The rooms are well equipped and comfortable for an overnight trip. Breakfast spread was standard and the food was very fresh and served hot. The roof top restaurant has a great view.

I had a great stay in this hotel. The hotel is clean, calm, and well equipped. The gym had enough equipment and was clean and neat. The breakfast was very nice and there is a coffee machine. The staff was vey nice too.

Stayed in several hotels for my 2-week China trip in Nov, & I must say we all felt this was the most value for money & favourite hotel. 😊 The only thing to nitpick about is probably because its location is not that near to the main tourist area, which meant we often had to book didi to visit places like Dongguan Street/ Slender West Lake etc. But it also meant the environment was quiet and less rowdy for a peaceful stay. Got a free room upgrade & I love how spacious & comfortable it is. Pleasant surprise to see drip coffee bags provided in the room, which is rare for China hotels. Room was also kept clean at all times. My friend also made use of the free laundry service here. Overall, a very pleasant stay here for 2 nights!

賈浩the manager was very helpful and his staff too. The hotel is situated in the old town part of Yangzhou. We visited Dongguan Street and the nearby canal system. They are well worth checking out for history and local food. To me stinky tofu was a must. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. We loved the various steamed buns and dumplings. My family is originally from Yangzhou so I loved the food here. Some westerners might find the restaurants a bit basic and not decorative enough. Also Chinese men are still spitting in the open too much. Slim West Lake was wonderful. We had tour guide 呂琳 to talk us through the various attractions in the Lake. We were very happy with the tour.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing Hot Spring Stay – Relaxing & Clean! I had a wonderful stay at Gao Shi Di Hot Spring Hotel during my recent visit to Yangzhou. The hotel exceeded expectations in every way — especially in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and service. ✅ Room: Spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The private hot spring tub on the balcony was a highlight — perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. Smart lighting and plenty of amenities made the stay extra comfortable. ✅ Staff: Very helpful and friendly. Front desk team was professional and even helped with luggage and taxi booking. They also provided complimentary probiotic drinks and a disposable spa kit, which was a nice touch. ✅ Food: Breakfast buffet was included and surprisingly good. A mix of Chinese and light Western options, fresh and well-prepared. ✅ Location: Peaceful area near Yangzhou University Town. Taxis and DiDi rides are easy to get, and it's not far from the main attractions like Slender West Lake and Dongguan Street. ✅ Facilities: EV charging, good Wi-Fi, fitness room, and clean lobby spaces. Everything felt new and well maintained. Only suggestion: the balcony hot spring can feel a little cold in winter wind — maybe some screens or covers would help. But overall it was a luxurious experience. Would definitely return and recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, modern hotel with private hot spring access and great service.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a very pleasant environment overall. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, which made the stay very relaxing. What truly stood out was the staff, 100% kind, helpful, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to assist us, from helping to arrange our Taobao deliveries, giving us useful advice about the weather, to even lending us a weighing machine for our luggage. Their service was warm, sincere, and incredibly attentive. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay and truly appreciate all the help and kindness from the team. Highly recommended, and definitely deserving of a full 5-star rating

Great location and yard. Quite place in a busy area. Beautiful garden and very tall room. Since it locates walking districts, we have to carry our luggage over for quite a distance to the lobby and th our room. The path is uneven rocks or some door thresholds, which are interesting when walking but hard when with luggage bags. The service was great, actually. When we checked out and asked the hotel to help on luggage carry to the street where cars can acces, they helped with a card.
