"I stayed at this hotel five times. Family for the location the fact that it has a swimming pool. Food here for breakfast was not too good because it upset my stomach. I like the staff the rooms are good but some of the views are just terrible. Views of Rocky vacant lots. If you can get a view of the Egyptian museum or the pool. The views can some time kind of depress me. this hotel has a swimming pool and a gym and after a day and Cairo you need to kind of decompress in a pool. I would stay here again this is my go-to hotel in Cairo. I paid $125 a night including taxes with breakfast. Not crazy about breakfast so be careful what you eat."

"The front desk staff, Amr tried his best to give us an early check-in. I had booked the hotel very early and had requested for a high floor. We were given the 3rd floor (out of 6 floors) saying it was a high floor, it was the last, corner room, noisy at night with music till late at night from the park and also the door that was shared with the adjacent room was being rattled and woke us up. Instead of a huge double bed we got twin beds pushed together with a dent in the middle and separate duvets tucked under. The room was cold. No blanket, no bathrobe, no slippers, no toiletries other than soap and shampoo. We were forced to keep our luggage at reception for the porter to bring it to the room. This was delayed almost by half an hour, when we could have easily done it ourselves. The next day, the staff who cleaned the room, separated the beds again. She took away the dirty towels and didn’t replace them. The pillows the hotel provides are like huge square cushions. Breakfast had some variety and the chefs cook some tasty dishes. We chose this Accor hotel hoping to have a great anniversary experience, but instead it was ruined. The cost was very high and not worth it. On our last evening, we received 2 phone calls via the room phone interrupting our evening leisure. The calls were made about half hour apart and was from a female asking us if we enjoyed the breakfast. She said she was from housekeeping. We found this odd. We are very disappointed with this whole experience especially as I am an Accor member and for the price we paid. Our 28th wedding anniversary was ruined!"

"Da sempre il mio albergo preferito a Il Cairo. Anche con la nuova gestione si conferma una struttura eccellente. Consiglio vivamente, un boutique hotel che sa di passato ma con gusto, stile e i comfort dei giorni nostri. Non fatevi ingannare dall'ingresso dello stabile, l'hotel è situato all'ultimo piano di un palazzo con altre strutture/abitazioni, ma è davvero il meglio se cercate un alloggio di livello e non di catene internazionali."

"The hotel is very good, staff is great and very helpful. The problem was the renovation works that day which was very annoying. Also next day the garden moaning was annoying and woke me up. Other than that food is perfect, room is big enough and price is amazing. So affordable"

"It wasn't the weather for swimming in March, but it was a shame that the pool was under repair. It was great to be able to use the lawn on the first floor. The Grand Egyptian Museum is right next door, but you can't cross the street, so you have to go around by taxi. It's not open yet, so even just the museum architecture tour is too expensive. There are no restaurants around the hotel, so they provide dinner. It was delicious, but the breakfast wasn't that great."

"Lovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe. "
