I couldn’t not fault the hotel, I amazing stay the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Hotel is right by central, easy access to pubs and restaurants. The room was fabulous too OMG I didn’t wanted come home. :( I had room service I had pasta bolognaise which was blinking lush I wanted another one.

Best hotel I've been to so far all the staff day/night was well mannered happy helpful joyful staff from reception to dinning down to the cleaners all have above and beyond with my stay from the moment I arrived made me feel equal as im disabled the lift access was easy to use helpful with my luggage straight away no waiting around reception was brilliant excellent communication got my room card really quickly no waiting around 3 lifts so plenty of access to floors my room was beautiful spacious easy access with quick card entrance with electric door just swap and the door opens for you with one press button to exit bathroom has all disabled access toilet bars shower seat with arm rests your able to move from side to side which helps getting to dry floor food was amazing from breakfast buffet massive selection you got to try the mixed fruit juices red and green flavour explosion have your great British fry up with a croissant and cappuccino for afters even had reserved table with easy access with out asking help with service if you want your breakfast brought too your room i highly recommend you stay in the Leonardo hotel for best stay on what ever your needs great tourist's while on your stay you have to visit the castle

Clean and comfortable. Very serene location. Will come back again

Great place for a quick getaway

We went to the Royal Hotel not really knowing what to expect.  It is set with a lovely building. The architecture is beautiful.  The hotel is set out in an odd way but I think that adds the character. You enter on the ground floor, go up two floors to reception. There is a small bar there that offers free teas and coffees.  The slug and lettuce down stairs provides you with 20% off of food if you show your keycard.  The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.  Location is good and because we were on the 4th floor we couldn’t hear the noise for the streets below.  The room was ok. Aircon in the room with tea and coffee.  Now two great points that I’ve been saving….!!  1. The shower! Let me tell you something it’s like I was sat in a typhoon, Cardiff clearly doesn’t have an issue with its water pressure!  2. The bed, it was luxurious, I was able to sink and sleep so soundly! We need this bed for our house!

I booked two apartments in Cardiff for the weekend for my wife and I and my son and his wife. We watched the rugby match at the principality stadium then went out for dinner . We then walked home and arrived at our apartments at 8.30pm to find no hot water for a shower . The temperature outside is 5 degrees Celsius. I called the duty manager who informed me that the boilers in the building were off and someone would come and turn them on in half an hour . It is 10pm as I write this review and there is still no hot water . As far as I am concerned this is a breach of contract , I paid for two executive apartments with fully functioning amenities which if you read the laws on hiring rooms or apartments says hot water . I feel that I should be refunded for one nights stay for both apartments.

The hotel was nice, as it has a lovely swimming poo, so na and steam room. Very few chair for relaxing in the pool area, some people were sitting on the floor with their towels. Breakfast was the same with bit of change in their biscuits cereal. Bad side for food is that they offered scamble eggs only, fried and pouches eggs and omelette they charge for them. It was my first time at the hotel or in Cardiff, it was Xmas even they seem kinda busy check in was suppose to be 3oclk but when we got there room was not ready and the receptionists were just cool about that, had to go to the desk and ask constantly which s boring. The hotel is clean but I think their cleaning management is not up to standard, I had missing items in the room, like towels and next day I had to ask for handwash gel 100 times as it was not replaced. If you book with them maybe get yourself a suite room unlike just an ordinary room. It is a 4 star hotel was expecting a lot from them.

Jag bodde här på affärsresa i en vecka. Rummet verkade vara rent, men det är så mörkt att man inte riktigt kan avgöra om det är rent eller inte. Det är faktiskt ett problem – belysningen är dålig. Jag kunde inte riktigt arbeta i rummet eftersom det bara hade en gul omgivningsbelysning och inte en vanlig huvudljuskälla. Badrummet kan vara lite kallt om man inte lämnar dörren öppen så att varm luft från luftkonditioneringen kan komma in. Det är skamligt att de inte har frukost inkluderad, särskilt för längre vistelser på hotellet som inte är så billigt och ligger utanför centrum… åtminstone en liten smörgås skulle göra saken bättre, men nej 👎🏼. En annan sak är att området inte är särskilt trevligt. Om man inte måste göra något i det området rekommenderar jag inte att man stannar där. Jag blev till och med tillsagd av taxichaufförer att inte gå runt ensam efter att det blivit mörkt. Innan jag visste ordet av det tog jag en promenad och det kändes verkligen lite osäkert. Personalen var okej, jag hade inte mycket kontakt med dem. Det var bara en incident när jag kom – de kunde inte hitta mig i sitt system (det var bokat under ett annat namn av misstag, men jag ändrade det faktiskt en vecka före ankomst, så jag vet inte varför de inte hade uppdaterad information). Det finns ett litet gym, men nästan alla maskiner, utom en, är för konditionsträning. Nästan inga restauranger eller butiker i området.

很好的入住體驗，房間夠大，景色怡人，地理位置優越，離卡迪夫大學步行15-20分鐘左右，早餐非常豐盛，酒店設備裝修都還不錯，總統很滿意，性價比較高，下次來還會選擇。
