"This is a great place, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Staff are friendly and the courtyard beds have more privacy than usual hostel bunkbeds, with the way onto the bed being at the end of the bed and a curtain to keep your privacy. Cider tasting was a nice addition."

"The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. The room overall is great. The toilet is well maintained and with the best coffee and tea, and even snacks! Although main drawbacks are, first, as my room is without windows, a television is replaced by with live stream of outside view, however, it keeps flashing and I have to turn it off. Then, No WiFi for 2 days, which I can only rely on my data, which I think they should provide SIM card or other things that can help access to the internet. And the parking is a bit expensive, 15 gbp per day."

"Absolutely amazing. We arrived very late due to heavy snow- they checked us in and organised an extra bed literally within 2 minutes of arriving. The service is efficient and rapid. The gentleman who looked after our room in house keeping was awesome, he helped us settle in and the little touches to make the kids feel special was duly noted. The manager down on the reception desk was excellent. Everything is managed very well, there is no waiting and the service is outstanding. The view at breakfast is amazing! Mountains in the distance covered in snow. Our stay was better than expected. Parking ✅ Swimming pool and sauna ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅ The hotel location is convenient and the restaurant space is open plan and cosy yet very busy. The hotel does need some updated but everything works well. The location is literally next to the zoo and the overflow car park 🅿️ is next to the hotel. The staff here are outstanding. High praise. "the hotel was so clean and modern, with a really big room -- more than enough for 2 people. the location was so great because it was right beside a theatre and we cld even catch a last minute show there! the hotel was close to our needs ie shopping, sightseeing at the royal mile and city centre."

Fantastiskt läge med gångavstånd till Waverly järnvägsstation (dvs. huvud-/centralstationen), turistbussar till Highland och Loch Ness, sightseeingbussar, de flesta sevärdheterna i Edinburgh, St James Quarter (dvs. ett trevligt shoppingcenter), många butiker, restauranger, kaféer etc. Trevligt, rent och tyst rum med bekväma sängar, med strykjärn och strykbräda. Trevligt gym, pool och bastu på tredje våningen. Trevlig (frukost)restaurang och bar, trevlig frukost, trevlig personal överallt, snabb och smidig in- och utcheckning. Vi rekommenderar starkt detta hotell. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka till detta hotell."

"We were very happy with our stay in the hotel. My daughter played tennis tournament in Oriam centre literally on the other side of the road. Very convenient hotel when visiting centre. Really nice lady at the reception allowed us to check in 3 hrs before official check in time which was excellent and allowed my daughter to rest and change before her first match. Nice, quiet room with the fridge having everything we need. Good choice at the buffet breakfast next time as well. All positive !"

"Excellent standard of rooms - top spec bathroom & top high Quality toiletries- nothing at all out of place , a credit to housekeeping! Breakfast has everything you would want, plentiful coffee fruit juice to choose from, plus the best smoked salmon around! Overall no faults. "We had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay. We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort! The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️ （The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much."
