Ty Golchi is our most recent project and was completed in June 2019. Ty Golchi translates to 'Wash House' in English. Sure enough this Grade ll cottage started it's humble beginnings in the 1750's as the wash house to Ty'n Llan which is the parish house of Llanfair. Ty Golchi has been completely renovated this year and has been transformed into a cosy and romantic one bedroom property. the lounge is open plan to the kitchen and dining area. There is a separate bedroom with a lovely en suite shower room. The cottage holds a wealth of charm, to include natural stone, a welsh oak 'A' frame beam and three foot thick walls. The refurbishment has been completed with modern fittings, mixing old and new, the kitchen is well fitted with everything that you will need for a self catering holiday and the bathroom has a fully tiled double shower with high rain shower and separate hand held shower head. All of the furniture is new, and the soft furnishings have been sourced to add a touch of luxury and colour.North Wales' coast and mountains are just two of its most valuable assets, and you can enjoy both of them from this charming cottage.Sitting within the grounds of the owners' own home, it's a fantastic holiday home for a couple looking for a relaxing and romantic, peaceful holiday. Hen Stabl is an 18th century stone cottage located within the Snowdonia National Park. Originally the cottage was built as the stables to the parish house of Llanfair. Hen Stabl was saved from ruin and refurbished in the late 1990's by order of Snowdonia National Park due to it's significant historic interest to the village of Llanfair. The living accommodation at Hen Stabl has been totally refurbished over the past eighteen months to include newly fitted kitchen and bathroom. The layout to Hen Stabl is quirky and on the ground floor you will find two bedrooms, and a bathroom leading from a large hallway. On the first floor is the living accommodation with its high vaulted ceiling, it’s a sociable open plan living space consisting of lounge, dining area and kitchen. There is ample on road parking at the front of the cottage. Hen Stabl stands in an enviable location for anyone wanting to explore the Snowdonia National Park, the stunning beaches of Harlech and Llandanwg are only a 10/15 minute walk from the front door. At the rear of the cottage there is a large garden with several seating areas which is shared with our second holiday cottage, Ty Golchi, there is a direct footpath approximately 50 meters from Hen Stabl leading to the hills and mountain range of Rhinog Fawr.
