"Check in was a breeze. Very thoughtful service by staff to plan the decor and celebration of our Anniversary! This is what truly stands out for Swiss-Bel as compared to other big & new hotels in Batam, though the hotel is much older and needs some refurbishment especially the toilet with some unpleasant smells. Food buffet is not bad and rather delicious but variety across days can be further improved and they can consider serving Indomie for breakfast buffet! Kudos once again to the thoughtfulness of the customer service enjoyed in our stay!"

"Stayed at Four Points Sheraton Batam and overall had a pleasant experience. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and feel new. The twin beds are large and very comfortable. Location is convenient, right near clothing markets, though the front of the hotel could be tidier as the road median has quite a bit of rubbish.
Breakfast offers plenty of variety. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit drink corner—the dragon fruit and banana smoothie combo was excellent. However, the egg and noodle stations could improve in both cooking quality and speed of service. The porridge wasn’t really porridge, so that’s another area for improvement. Food refilling at the buffet also needs more consistency. On the bright side, staff across the hotel—from reception to housekeeping to the breakfast team—were all sweet, polite, and helpful.
Facilities are decent: the pool is a good size with a nice ambiance, and the gym, though small, serves its purpose. One odd moment was when I requested two extra pillows but only received one because the rest were “still in the laundry.”
Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, friendly service, and a good breakfast spread. With some fine-tuning in food service and small operational details, it could easily reach the next level."

"We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and booked 2 rooms it was truly a pleasant experience from start to finish.
🏨 Housekeeping did an excellent job every day they changed the bed sheets and towels daily and even topped up mineral water without us needing to ask. Everything was always clean and fresh.
🍽️ Breakfast was excellent with a good variety, and all the staff were very polite and attentive.
☕ At the lounge, the staff were friendly, polite, and always served with a smile it really made us feel at home.
💁♀️ The front desk staff were also professional, polite, and treated us like real valued guests.
Overall, Asialink Hotel Batam by Prasanthi truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Batam great service, comfort, and warm hospitality 🌟"

Restaurant manger help my child prepared scrambled egg when this is not in the menu for dinner buffet. Nice buffet dinner with wide variety of food and live band performance. Nice ambience.
Able to check in early.
The bed was so comfortable, has big TV which I can screencast. Big swimming pool although the pool floor is not clean. Has proper working desk.
Security ok, as I met the security patrolling on the floor.
I left something in the room when checked out, the staff even WhatsApp me to inform me.
Will definitely come back again.
Highly recommend to everyone. This is more like 5 star in my opinion.
We have enjoyed our stay very much.

FFlying NibbaA very good It was a decent place for a staycation. the room was neat and clean, and the facilities were good as well. There was a wide variety of options at the breakfast area, although one small downside for me was that many of the good dishes were cooked with beef (which I’m allergic to).
Overall, the experience was amazing. The hotel basically has everything you need, and for a one-night stay, the price is very affordable. I paid around RM250 (about SGD 85) for a night. I would highly recommend this place to couples and families who are travelling on a budget.

Cons:
No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets.
Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing.
Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy.

The resort sits right by the water near the iconic Barelang Bridge, so the views—especially during sunrise and sunset—are beautiful. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the city crowd, making it perfect for families who want to unwind.
🏨 Rooms
The rooms are spacious and clean, and many come with balcony views facing the sea or the pool. Perfect for families with kids who need space to move around. Housekeeping was quick and helpful throughout our stay.

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

AAnonym användareI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition.
However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room.
The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇

SS…..Arrived and checked in and served lemongrass drink as welcome drink. The hotel reception got us a free upgrade to the beachfront for our honeymoon stay and gave us honeymoon decoration based on my request. The hotel view is so good, room is comfy, room toilet is clean, emerald pool is good, breakfast had a lot of options, was expecting coffee machine but unfortunately don’t have. Generally satisfied. Called reception for pickup to lobby. Able to call Gojek to back to city during our checkout.

KKirvyI had a truly wonderful stay at Grand Eska Hotel Batam! The food was absolutely delicious be it the breakfast or the weekly Saturday BBQ and the hotel had such a vibrant atmosphere with events that made the experience even more enjoyable.
A special shoutout to Felix! Who went above and beyond throughout our stay. From recommending great dinner spots to even assisting us with purchasing gifts, his thoughtful service really made us feel well taken care of. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and genuine—thank you, Felix!
What stood out most was the warm hospitality from every staff member we encountered. No matter where you go in the hotel, you’re always greeted with a bright smile that makes you feel at home.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Grand Eska Hotel Batam for anyone visiting Batam—you’ll be well fed, well cared for, and leave with a big smile.

AAnonym användareIHG. Holiday Inn. It seems like this hotel at Batam has been neglected. Many of the amenities are lacking in maintenance. The pool, gym, kids club.....the list goes on. Staff are excellent. But why has the hotel not kept up with maintaining it well when it's such a popular hotel. Covid took havoc world wide. But many hotels have bounced back and are welcoming guests with renewed hope. Hotels needs to constantly upgrade so that guests want to keep coming back.
Slippery walkways, itchy body after sleeping on the bed and toilets that lack are some of the features at Holiday Inn Batam.
Time to see how you can improve your rating. Its a great hotel if you improve on the upkeep.
Never too late to start. Looking forward to coming back in 2026 if there are improvements.
