"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"Naples is definitely not the best area for women alone at night. Hotel has a nice lobby and feels safe inside. It is relatively nice considering the area it’s in. Very close to the station which is convenient."

"Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt! Tolle Lage in der Nähe aller relevanten Fixpunkte (Bus, Bahn, Metro, Flughafen Bus, Altstadt, etc)… nur mit dem Auto sollte man nicht anreisen - Parken ist limitiert und teuer. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, komfortabel, sauber, gut ausgestattet und man hatte zu jeder Zeit einen Ansprechpartner. Auch einen tollen Stadtführer gab es per PDF dazu!  Nach dem C/O konnte man das Gepäck noch bis zum Abflug lagern und war somit bis zum letzten Moment ungebunden und flexibel. Gerne eine dicke Empfehlung!"

"Hotel location is brilliant if you want to be close to the Central Station to travel to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Royal Palace, etc as this covered the main line, regional and Metro lines. Any concerns around the area being dodgy were soon dispelled as a Police car and soldiers were always close by. The Hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and staff friendly. The downsides were really around the restaurant. The evening meal menu was fussy and would not be suitable for families. That said, the location was great as there were lots of good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The breakfast provided was fairly limited and even though an extra charge was applicable to porridge and other cooked foods, every time I asked for porridge, I was advised that 'it was not possible'. I believe that the hotel should not be charging for these extras, and they should provide what they include on their menus!"

"立地について　立地は相反する見方のために若干辛めになりました。ナポリセントラル駅から遠いので少し減点です。でもナポリセントラル駅付近は治安が良くないとのことなのでこのホテルを選択しました。なので治安が悪いナポリセントラル駅付近が減点といってもいいかもしれません。相反するのはフェリーターミナルに近いです。重いスーツケースを運んでも5分くらいでチケット売り場に到着できます。ここのホテルを離れるときにフェリー移動だったので、その都合だけ鑑みれば最高評価で良いです。 清潔度については、今回のヨーロッパ周遊で悩まされていた電気ポットが臭う問題がここのホテルでは無かったです。日本人としては当たり前なのですが、感動しました。そのほかにも清掃は行き届いているし、新しいホテルなのか、痛んでいたり古く感じる部分もありませんでした。 サービスについてはチェックイン時にいろいろ説明されるものの英語で理解が出来ないので、再度同じことを聞きに行ったり、フェリーのチケット売り場の説明も求めたりしましたが、全て笑顔で翻訳機も面倒がらずに、こちらが理解できるまで丁寧に教えてくれました。さらにチェックアウト後にフェリーの時刻を2時間読み違えて、再度ホテルのロビー内で待たせてもらえるか交渉したところ、問題なくOK頂きました。この日私は体調を崩していたので、大変ありがたかったです。 施設については歯ブラシがないとか織り込み済みのことはあるにせよ、概ねそろっているし、部屋は広め、棚はいっぱいあるので使い勝手も大変良かったです。"

"I stayed in a completely new and spotlessly clean room—not far from Naples Central Station. The bed was very comfortable, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. My room faced a busy street, so it could get a little noisy at times, but that’s something to keep in mind depending on your preferences. Overall, it was a great value for the money and a solid choice for a short stay in Naples."

"Purtroppo stavolta sono rimasto deluso. Avevo prenotato una Camera Superior ma quando sono arrivato in camera con mia sorpresa non c'era la scrivania. Quando sono andato in reception per chiedere se quella fosse una camera Superior mi dicono di sì. Ma alla mia domanda ”come mai non ci fosse la scrivania”, mi sento rispondere che può ”capitare”. E che nelle Superior XL avrei trovato la scrivania. Il tutto mi è sembrato assurdo. Mi hanno chiesto alle 20.30 se volevo cambiare camera ma non ho accettato visto che sarei partito l'indomani. Posso dire solo che bisogna fare più attenzione e non dare risposte così superficiali."

"那不勒斯從羅馬開車過去也就是兩個半小時！就住一晚，訂了一個三人間包早餐4000塊。總的來説其實價錢也還行，因為畢竟在歐洲的吃住三個人吃飯打底都是150歐也就是1000塊了。是個100多年的老房子可能因為牆磚太厚的原因，根本在房間裏面沒有WiFi，什麼都沒有，一晚上就是找不到信號。 位置是絕佳，出門就是海邊。走路去廣場也就是10分鐘。自駕遊的話，停車費一天45元歐。其實是有點心疼+但是好像也沒什麼選擇，因為在歐洲包車的話，那一天也是600歐元。這麼一比的話，停車費也就不算啥了"

"非常に綺麗なホテルだった。 お風呂はバスタブ付きかつとても広かった。 本当に良いホテルだったが、フロントの場所と宿泊場所が違うことには注意が必要だ。チェックインなどのフロントが絡むことはガレリア内のある部屋で行う必要がある。事前にメールが送られるはずなので確認しなければならない。 フロントの方の対応がとても親切で、迷ってしまったが全く嫌な思いをすることはなかった。 その点に注意すれば完璧な宿だった。"
