"Pebbles Resort has a lot of positives but also some areas for improvement. Location: The location is excellent. It’s situated near a bus stop where you can catch buses to almost every route in Malta. Buses are frequent and cost only €2 for a two-hour ride. The square is a short six-minute walk, offering plenty of food options. Beaches are just a quick bus ride away, and ferries are also easily accessible. Hotel Facilities: The hotel has two pools: an outdoor one and a warm indoor pool. The indoor pool is very comfortable, but the hot tub was disappointing—colder than the pool and with jets that only work for 30 seconds at a time, requiring constant button-pressing. The towels provided for pool use are old and could use an upgrade. The gym is small and often busy, so timing is key if you want to work out. Food: The food was surprisingly fresh and delicious. Unlike many hotel buffets, the staff at Pebbles Resort rotates trays frequently, ensuring the food is both fresh and appealing. However, the buffet and à la carte menus are separate, which was disappointing. I couldn’t try items like cheesecake or creamed chicken from the buffet during à la carte dining. Rooms: The room itself was nice, with some standout features like the television built into the mirror. The balcony was a good size, but my stay was marred by a neighbor plucking cigarette ashes over their balcony instead of using the ashtray provided. Additionally, the refrigerator never got cold, which was inconvenient as there are no ice buckets in the rooms, forcing me to go to the bar for ice. Service: Service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. Despite being the only ones waiting, the staff couldn’t expedite the process, leaving my daughter to fall asleep on the lobby couch—a completely embarrassing experience. The hotel also lacks luggage carts and staff to assist with heavy luggage, which is especially frustrating when traveling with kids and a lot of bags. Conclusion: While Pebbles Resort offers a fantastic location, good food, and decent facilities, it falls short in service and attention to detail. Small improvements, like better towels, functional hot tubs, luggage assistance, and quicker room readiness, could elevate the experience significantly. Rating: 3.5/5"

"Excellent séjour passé au côté de ma femme! Les petits déjeuners étaient très copieux et variés. On en gardera beaucoup de souvenirs notamment au jacuzzi ❤️. La chambre était parfaite et tous les employés au petit soin Clin d'oeil à Lavich."

"It was just perfect. The hotel is new, clean, comfortable. The room is really big and has everything you need. It was a pleasant surprise to get a complimentary mini-bar! I booked this hotel more for an indoor pool and it was really good and warm (not big but ok). Unfortunately, I don't use sauna - it looked also good. I should have paid for the breakfast there - I will do it next time for sure."

"Had a lovely holiday here with my son and my Dad Friendly reception staff. Great room on top floor with tasteful decor with good views and terrace (I booked a 2 room, room option). The outdoor swimming pool was busy but a bit cool for me in May, but the indoor pool was really warm and not busy. On half board, great selection of foods most days (I'm Veggie, so more limited, but still good). Staff very accommodating to me asking for plain pasta for my son instead of kids options. Only thing i would say, is there is an Adults only area, which isnt that clear and one of the staff very grumpily moved us out of it even though we had sat there a couple of times previously, saying there is a sign, but its facing the food, not the entrance so not obvious at all. There is a kids club open for AM and PM session which I didn't work out until towards end of holiday, it is mentioned, but not well advertised, but my 6 years old son had a lovely time with the staff there when he tried it and kept wanting to go back in our last 3 days which he's often reluctant to do in other places. Had 2 small issues which were promptly resolved, 1st, my son managing to lock the safe, security came within couple of minutes of call, then 1 evening, power in room stopped working, again, someone turned up to fix it quickly. All in all, recommended as long as your happy by a beach that's for most part rock rather than sand (small sand beach attached to hotel I think but I didn't go to that bit). Also, bus station is more or less behind back corner of hotel and Google maps great for telling you which bus to get on for days out."

"Qarwa Palace Resort and Spa: This luxury hotel brand is renowned for its impeccable service and attention to detail. Guests often comment on the friendly and accommodating staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The room they gave us was not good enough, it looks like aback-up room when the hotel is almost fully booked. No towels in the room. The staff are so friendly, they was an error with the payment of my room via the agency which supposed to be fixed at the date of arrival not the check-out time, Edward seems to be the front desk manager and he has bad attitudes , he looks down on people and he does not even smile. I have worked in hospitality more than 10 years and I never seen such behaviors and attitudes from front desk managers. The hotel is super good and worth the price, especially if you booked the room with All-inclusive. I highly recommend it."

"Very good hotel, excellent amenities, we stayed bed and breakfast. The food at breakfast was top quality and varied. The hotel was very clean in all areas, very modern decor throughout. Room very comfortable with sea view. Would stay at this hotel again."

"Mycket blandad bedömning. Hotellet är bra och mycket bra beläget, dock: – Personalen är inte ofta där. Vi sa till Maria i receptionen att vår minibar inte svalkade. Svar, en minibar kyler inte. Vi hade såklart två rum och i det andra var det helt kallt, till och med för kallt. Genom att flytta på eluttaget fungerade det. Det rapporterades men ingen kom någonsin. - rumskort som inte fungerade tre gånger. Varje gång vi passerar får vi veta att detta händer och tredje gången får vi veta att det beror på att turistskatten inte är betald. Ironiskt nog gick vi till receptionen två gånger för att göra detta men fick höra senare. - Otroligt ljud på hotellet. Hotellet tar emot grupper av unga tonåringar och de är helvetiska, vi kunde inte sova förrän 1-2 på morgonen. - om du vill nå receptionen, be att ditt rum är med de nya faciliteterna. Min dotter fick ett nytt rum och vi fick ett mindre nytt. Telefonen fungerade inte och trots anmälan till receptionen gjordes ingenting. Annars är hotellet bra, bekvämt, inomhuspoolen med jacuzzi mycket bra och restaurangservicen är utmärkt. Vi tvekade med havsutsikten och ångrade oss till slut. Trots hotellets goda poäng kommer vi inte tillbaka dit igen, det är säkert."

"An amazing hotel with excellent service, beautiful facilities (pool, sauna, breathtaking views), and a great location close to everything. Parking on-site is very convenient, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. We were surprised with a lovely honeymoon gift a bottle of champagne, a cake, and a beautifully decorated room. Truly superb and unforgettable. We’ll definitely come back one day!"
