It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

Ett riktigt hotell med sin egen parkeringsplats.Hotellet är ganska nytt, med tillräckligt med faciliteter som pool och gym.Rummet är rymligt och komplett med grundläggande toaletter.Luftkonditioneringen var bra och hela rummets renhet är genomsnittlig. Det enda lilla problemet med mitt rum var duschområdet.Det finns en sorts blockering med avloppet, men i allmänhet var duschupplevelsen bra med stadigt starkt ström.I allmänhet är detta hotell mycket väl värt priset på något över RM100.

Location is near to town by driving Open parking space provided, behind the hotel, near Portuguese settlement The service was ok. Welcome drinks are served but i think the tea isnt enough, so when we both arrived, we dont have it. But its fine. There are two quite similar room type, i booked the higher price one but i got it a two single bed room, then we asked the receptionist. They changed us to a double room but the room space isnt what we expected. Anyhow, we didnt change again. Then we started to unpack and look around, there are water leakage / unwipe water on the floor. And most important, the cupboard is fake on the left side and it dropped and hurt our fingers and toes.. but the right side has a small fridge? I dont understand the design or there is no remark on it… it is so dangerous! Then the bath tub, was fine, a lot of black stains on it. Honestly, we dont dare to enjoy ourselves in the bath tub. Also the shower head isnt stable! It keeps falling…. Omg.. we stayed for two nights and we feel like it wasnt worth RM670++ One and only time.. i wished to have a nice staycation but it makes us disappointed..

I'd like to share regarding our stay. Unfortunately, we had a rather unsettling experience during the night. Around midnight (between 12am and 1am), someone attempted to access the unit using a key, we could clearly hear the sound of a key trying to unlock the door. This caused quite a fright, especially for the children. Suggestions: • It would be highly recommended to install an internal door lock for added security. Ideally, a CCTV camera or a door peephole would also help, so guests can see who is outside before opening the door or windows. Aside from that incident, the stay was generally pleasant. A few minor maintenance issues to note: • Some lights and remotes may need to be checked for proper functioning. • The toilet bowl feels a bit unstable as it is shaking and need a fix. It definitely worth for a returns if all these can be improved. 😊

Bayview Hotel Melaka offers a pleasant and comfortable stay that covers all the essentials for a simple getaway. The room was clean and well-kept, providing a nice space to rest after a day of sightseeing. While the facilities are not particularly luxurious, everything functioned as expected and met the basic needs of a short stay. The staff were the highlight of the experience. They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to Melaka’s main attractions such as Jonker Street and the river area. It’s suitable for guests looking for a fuss-free hotel that’s reasonably priced and comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Overall, Bayview Hotel Melaka is an average but reliable option—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a good base for exploring the city.

It’s a spontaneous trip that we booked the room before we check google reviews. Yet we are aware of the different way of check in. Apparently it’s under awanjiwa management of the *air-bnb* style of room which is the same hotel as The pines. First, If there is choice i may direct book frm the pines , we tried once under the shore & the swiss garden same thing yet also unforgettable trip 😅 I would say hotel charge the prices will assure give the best services maybe . We consider lucky that awanjiwa person in charge is nice and responsible. We got some hicups on the check in and got settle to change another room as u can see frm photos the disaster of the first room we got i told the PIC only the bed and the sink is clean others is all dusty 😵💫 We got changed to another better condition rooms also with some stain on the table n cupboard so i had to clean myself before place anything in. Its not that bad tho, but i would say im not an airbnb guest . 😅 and its feel really weird when u stay in hotel but its like so weird u cant park in the same unit and u just dont feel u are away for a trip as the place u check in like ur neighbor home kind of feel .

Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

This was my second stay at the Asia Hotel Malacca, which was renovated in 2025. Surprisingly, the bathroom was leaking and water was flowing into the living room (see picture). I had to be very careful to avoid slipping 😬 The first time I stayed here, it was called the Straits Hotel & Suites. Overall, the three-night stay was quite good 😊 I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully, they won't assign me room 1611 again next time🤞
