"I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience."

"They located very close to the central train station of Oslo, has very nice front desk officers. They provide towels, shampoos and body washes. They have heat warmer for used towels for reusing. The facilities are relatively old which some of the facilities are aged."

"Overall, my stay was pleasant. Although there was a slight hiccup with my room booking that delayed my check-in, I appreciated the efforts from both the hotel reception (especially Jordan) and Trip’s representative (Nico) in resolving the matter promptly.
The room itself was fairly basic, but the superb location and delicious breakfast more than made up for it. I would definitely consider returning and staying again with Clarion Hotels"

"Transporterna är bekväma. Hotellet ligger bara några minuters promenad från de natursköna platserna och det finns även sightseeingbusshållplatser. Det finns många restauranger och barer i närheten, vilket är mycket bekvämt. Gå bara till centrum och shoppa. Det är bara cirka 10 minuters promenad från centralstationen. Det finns också en stormarknad i närheten, vilket gör det till en lugn plats mitt i liv och rörelse."

"The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights.
Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap.
As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window.
What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train."

"Everything is good, except the room cleaning. I hanged the clean room card on the door but nobody cleaned the room for me until I requested the receptionist. Later, still no cleaning room service. I stayed at Room 317 from 22-28 June."

GGästanvändareHotellet ligger på 5-6 minuters avslappnad promenad från järnvägsstationen - precis nära havet. Den har en liten lobby, men vi kan också använda några bord i restaurangen medan vi njuter av gratis kaffe eller te hela dagen. Den erbjuder också lätt middag som ingår i priset och det var en av anledningarna till att jag valde den. Middagen inkluderar buffé med några sallader och fantastiska dressingar, samt en daglig soppa, en måltid och nybakat bröd. Frukosten var mycket välsmakande, vackert dekorerad på ett litet bord - inklusive varianter av alternativ för alla smaker, omedelbart påfyllda när den töms. Allt som erbjöds var av hög kvalitet.
Det finns också ett gratis gym och bastu.
Rummet är inte stort, men tillräckligt. Fin dekoration. Inte för stora sängar i en tvilling. Toaletten är ganska liten, med intelligent duschkabin.
Fina stora fönster med sol hela dagen lång. Överraskande - det fanns inget kylskåp. TV:n hade bara få nationella kanaler.
Alla anställda är mycket artiga och hjälpsamma.
Jag fick rummet direkt vid ankomsten - några timmar före officiell incheckningstid. Utcheckningen är riktigt bra - inställd på lunchtid. Det finns mycket litet, men gratis bagageutrymme.
Slutligen - jag fick ett mycket bra pris för det på Trip.com, jämfört med de andra leverantörerna.

GGästanvändareThis is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities.
The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel
The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables.
We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble.
The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app.
All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group.
I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.

GGästanvändareNot a good experience at Numa Hallen. NOT RECOMMENDED. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. However, the “hotel” is not supported by any staff.
The digital check in failed initially. We did not receive the check in email as advised. Maybe if you book directly with Numa, not a third party like Trip, this might work. Don’t know. We rang the web site and Trip advertised phone number to get a check in email. It is disconnected. This defect is recorded in previous reviews, Does anyone read these complaints?
Read the previous reviews and noted the WhatsAPP number to be found at door front. Was ready for this we thought. The WhatsAPP number only has a virtual attendant. So no verbal communication available only short text messages readable. Jumped through many hoops and eventually received our check in details on the kerb outside the hotel. Thought we would be sleeping on the street for a while.
Once inside we noted the big sign in kitchen about leaving a window open when cooking. Next morning all fire alarms in the hotel section went off. A closed window somewhere perhaps. Alarm couldn’t be shut off so we evacuated with our bags like many others. Guess it must happen often due to the prominence of the sign.
The experience wasn’t good and is a great example of technology making life more difficult. The quest to remove people from hospitality jobs diminishes the hospitality aspect. It also leaves no backup except for meaningless, valueless, unaccountable apologies.
The communications failures and fire alarm intrusion are significant infrastructure short comings.
Wouldn’t stay there again.

GGästanvändareNär jag bokade detta hotell läste jag allas recensioner, som var extremt extrema. Det finns bra recensioner och dåliga recensioner! Först när jag checkade in förstod jag varför. Vi bokade standardrum under hela resan, men vi stannade i två tidsperioder. Första gången vi anlände var runt 09:00 på söndagen. Vi trodde ursprungligen att vi inte skulle kunna checka in tidigt, men vi förväntade oss inte att alla 4 rummen var tillgängliga. Under min vistelse på två nätter denna gång var rummet ganska stort och till och med utrustat med en kaffemaskin! Förutom några smutsiga koppar och otillräcklig uppvärmning var det inga problem! Men när vi checkade in för andra gången var rummet vi fick mindre och det fanns ingen kaffemaskin, men det spelade ingen roll om vi bara stannade en natt! Det enda problemet är att duschmunstycket i duschrummet inte är särskilt bra, och vattnet är mycket långsamt och lätt att samla vatten! Det finns fortfarande ingen uppvärmning ~ Dessutom är läget för hotellet riktigt bra, det ligger i anslutning till tunnelbanelinje 4.5! Det finns också en kooperativ stormarknad bredvid, öppen till kl. 23.00.

EEd999Excellent location, just walk out from Oslo station and you can see the hotel and have access to the hotel’s level 2 directly. Easy access to airport. Arrived late at night. Check in process was efficient. Staff was polite and offered me a free bottled mineral water which was a kind gesture as the waters/drinks in mini fridge are chargeable. Small compact room but sufficient. Kettle and steam iron available in the room which are very useful. The room is too cold for me though, I think it is around 20-21degC, I tried to adjust temperature to be warmer to 24degC but it was not possible. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly especially the staff at restaurant reception. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, particularly I like the fresh juice/smoothies. Overall a comfortable stay and recommended.

SShauna McFaulFor our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit.
My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in.
Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go.
We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel.
I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

GGästanvändareThe location is fantastic. The hotel provides for basic facilities. Breakfast can be pre-booked. But it lacks some basic amenties:
1. It lacks a telephone in each room. How are we to reach out to the reception in case of any support ?
2. Majority of travellers from Asia will not carry things like electric plugs (Norway has a typical plug ). So the only way is to now purchase it from a shop. Even that is fine, if you reach the hotel at an odd hour then we will have to wait for the shop to open to purchase the connector/plug.
3. TV channels lack basic english channels. Nowadays satellite channels are cheap atleast connect the TVs to the internet for streaming youtube.
4. Rooms have hangers but lack cupboards.
5. No dental kits or shaving kits etc.

GGästanvändareMyself and a group of HE students have returned home from a conference where we stayed in this hotel.
The staff were really helpful and polite. Every morning we would ask for fresh towels at reception and these were either provided there and then or delivered to the room within 10 minutes of the request. The hotel is located around 10-15 minutes walk away from the marina, the tube station, royal palace. The students really enjoyed how central the hotel was to everything.
Check in and out was smooth, and the rooms were clean. There was a QR code in the room to scan if you wanted the cleaner to come in on a daily basis. There was a small selection of snacks in the reception area to purchase. On the other hand the breakfast variety was really good. From fresh waffles and pancakes to cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit, fresh smoothies and juices.
Overall this hotel is great if you want a base to go and explore Oslo. I would recommend this hotel to a weekend away.
