Nice, clean rooms, big comfy bed and pillows. Shower was okay. Water did not get hot, lukewarm at best and refrigerator was not cold at all, I almost thought it was broken. Food was good if you stick to Nepali and Indian food options, but lassis were watered down. Drinks were also not cold. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, but I had two instances that really turned me off. They have a free buffet breakfast, but if you opt to skip it, they call you very early in the morning to ask if you're coming or not. This disturbed my sleep several times until I asked them to stop. Today was also my last day here and although check out is at 3pm, I received a call from reception at 10:30am asking when I'd be leaving. He informed me that a big group would be arriving and told me that the check out time was noon, when it was clearly stated otherwise online. He asked if I'd be staying another night instead as if I was bartering to not be pushed out of my room before check out time, when I was right. I've never had such an experience before and have traveled all over the world. Such a lack of professionalism and tact. That is not how you treat guests at a 4 star hotel. Not recommending this hotel to anyone!

The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way. A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay. クラッシックホテルが好きなので、民族博物館的な内装の雰囲気が気に入りました。 ちょうど冬に訪問したのでお部屋が寒く、エアコンもなかなか暖かくなりませんでした。 現在、日本政府がカトマンズの水道を整備しているので、完成すれば解決すると思うのですが、水質がとても悪いです。 シャワーの時は目に水が入らないよう気をつけましょう。 ミネラルウォーターを多めに用意していただいているので歯磨きなどは問題ありません。 朝食は基本的には美味しいのですが、3日のうち1日だけ炭水化物ばかりの日があって困りました。 ダルバール広場までは徒歩圏内ですが、カトマンズは大気汚染が激しいのでマスクを持参するか購入すると良いですよ。

Skye Inn was my first ever hotel in Nepal. It's a good first-time experience. They provided comfortable pick-up service from the airport, clean and tidy living room, and decent breakfast. We especially appreciate the location - outside of the hotel there are many shops and restaurants we can visit and not too far from the airport is another plus. The manager is very helpful and friendly, we had a nice chat over breakfast. Definitely recommend to travelers who are looking for a hotel with friendly service and convenient location to stay.

If you're staying in Kathmandu, this hotel is a good choice. The best thing about it is that it's a new hotel (opening in 2024). Everyone, including the staff, spa staff, and breakfast staff, is very cooperative. Also, everything is well-maintained, including the showers and toilets in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electronic key cards, and internet TV. I'm sorry to say that other hotels tend to be a little older, with broken, slightly dirty, or non-working electronic devices. While it's true that older hotels have gardens and great locations, they can't compare to newer facilities. The breakfast had a nice view, too. 私は海外在住の日本人です。お子様連れの方には静かで落ち着いてるこのホテルを薦めます。もちろん一人旅も。

I had the most wonderful experience at Lo Mustang in November 2024. I came to Nepal for a wedding and Anisha at the front desk went above and beyond. Customer service was 10/10. I got recommendations for tailoring, jewelry, dry cleaning, and local dresses with transportation. Deepika, front desk manager, was fantastic always making sure my needs were being met and that my stay was comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location with great amenities. I initially chose this spot because of the beautiful traditional decor. It was beautiful in person with murals on each floor. Breakfast is fantastic with a roof top view. I booked a second time on my way back home because it was so great. I traveled solo and left with new friends.

Классный отель в центре рвйона Тамель. Номера и общие помещения выполнены в нациогальном стиле - очень атмосферно. Классный панорамный ресторан на 7 этаже - вкусно, разнообразное меню на завтраке(система шведский стол), меню ресторана также разнообразное - есть и блюда местной кухни, и европейские. Очень хороший спа в отеле, единственное, что работает не до позднего вечера. Очень приветливый и гостеприимный персонал. Рекомендую

After several trips to Nepal, I finally decided to treat myself with a stay at the famous Kathmandu Guest House. So glad I did. So much peace, grace, charm and beauty .. and of course, the history!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the property. The location was also very convenient, close to shops and transportation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!
