"Checkade in för andra gången men denna gång för 3 nätter. Låt oss fokusera mer på bekvämligheterna/faciliteterna (strand, gym och mat) Pendeltrafiken är nu planerad varje timme när denna recension skrevs. Savoy och Belmont har hittat en optimal lösning på avståndet till stranden. Fråga alltid receptionen vilken tid nästa shuttleupphämtning är. Det finns två typer av fordon, en modern skåpbil (belmont) och en traditionell jeep (savoy) som turas om att hämta och lämna gäster. Stranden har utsikt över soluppgången så för människor som vill få de bästa solbränna linjerna bör ni tidigt på morgonen. Samtidigt ses bilder från 13:00 till 17:00 här med mycket bra skuggade partier och det är högt tidvatten. Förvänta dig inte superfin sand, strandlinjerna har stora stenar men det är hanterbart. Vissa timmar på dagen är vattnet klart, små fiskar är synliga. Gå och simma i de mellersta delarna där minimala stenar inte finns, men så fort du tar ett dopp kommer du att uppskatta den kalla och varma strömmen som strömmar över din kropp. Unik och avkopplande känsla. Gymmet är optimalt, om du känner dig runt hantlar så skulle du vara nöjd med den tyngsta vikten på 50 kg. Konditionsavdelningen vetter mot poolen. Maskiner är hanterbara, bra bara för att få en pump. Maten som serverades under 3 nätter är ungefär densamma från min tidigare recension. Filippinsk-amerikansk frukost. Det är kyligt under vardagarna men blir riktigt hektiskt på helgerna. Så om du bor på en vardag kommer du fortfarande att få se fulla tallrikar och skålar. På helgerna, en annan historia. Så ett hack är att du bör gå från 06:00-08:00 för att se de olika valen. De flesta människors tankesätt kommer att välja att gå 09.00-10.00 så att de skulle känna sig mätta fram till lunchtid. Gissa vad, naturligtvis vad du kommer att se vid dessa tider är tomma tallrikar och skålar. Hehe Maten som serveras på stranden är okej. Något att fylla upp magen. Bästsäljarna är förmånliga, det kan bli bättre. Fasta menyer kommer med en drink."

"Excellent Stay! I recently stayed at this accomodation and was really impressed. The room was well-equipped — it had a coffee maker, rice cooker, induction cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine…and even a garment steamer! There was a steady supply of drinking water, a big TV, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the bathrobes provided — a nice touch of comfort. It also had a gym and a pool but unfortunately, I stayed on a Monfay and its closed for cleaning and maintenance. The place is quiet since it’s located away from the city noise but still conveniently close to the airport. The only small issue I had was figuring out how the hot shower works, but everything else was perfect. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely come back!"

"We stayed at the Waterfront for one night to attend the Hillsong concert, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! The room was stunning—I fell in love with its charming vintage ambiance. It was impeccably clean, beautifully scented, and wonderfully soundproof. To our delight, we were upgraded from a standard room to a Superior—thank you, Waterfront! The staff truly made our stay exceptional, especially the front desk team. Check-in and check-out were effortless, smooth, and welcoming. Breakfasts were a delight, offering a fantastic start to our day. The Wi-Fi was a bit congested, likely due to the concert that evening, but thankfully we had our backup ready—no worries there! A special shoutout to the Christmas tree—it’s absolutely breathtaking and added such a magical touch to our stay. Overall, a memorable one-night stay, and we can’t wait to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Lex Hotel Cebu from September 4–7. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet—it was impressive with so many food choices. From fresh vegetable salads, puto sikwate, and main dishes like lechon belly and beef, to live cooking stations where you can request pasta or omelets, plus a wide variety of breads, croissants, and desserts. It was a perfect way to start each day. As returning guests, we also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of receiving coupons for free drinks and a round of table pool. It made us feel valued and welcomed back. The staff deserve special mention—they were very accommodating, always ready to assist, and made every request easy to handle. There were a couple of minor downsides: in our room, we could hear some traffic noise from the road, although it became tolerable after a while. The basement parking lot was also a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles like our Ford Ranger. Fortunately, the staff were always there to help guide us in maneuvering, which made it manageable. Overall, Lex Hotel Cebu remains a great choice with excellent service, delicious food, and warm hospitality. We’ll gladly stay here again."

"We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy,though the rooms are not that spacious,but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus,the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him."

"We booked for a two bedroom unit, but they gave us only one bedroom unit. We needed to pay additional fee just to be transferred to the right room which we booked. In the room, the aircon is so noisy. It blows directly to your face because it’s just beside the bed. You either turn it off to avoid the noise and the inconvenience brought by direct blowing of the aircon on your face or suffer from too much heat. It was so uncomfortable. There is no rug and broom provided. We booked for five nights and the room become very dirty because there is no broom and rug provided for the room."

"Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!"

"The hotel’s location is accessible to public bus transport going to SM City Cebu and just walking distance to South Bus Terminal station. Taboan market is also a walking distance as well as the colon night market and food hub. Room is spacious and clean! Staff are polite and accommodating! Breakfast food arr geat! The only downside is the wifi. Wifi is weak, we were not able to use it. All in all, we had a great time staying in this Hotel. We’ll surely book here again! Highly recommended!"

"I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service. First time in my life I got to use the bidet as shower. We called the receptionist for our complain about the unbearable hot temperature of their shower and we are told that they will call the engineering dept.to respond to the issue. But after almost an hour of waiting (imagine, I already got my body pre-showered,because I stopped when I felt that the water is so hot) we got a call asking if we will be extending our stay. And luckily, it was my husband who answered the call. And calmly replied, “No, we will be checking out in a moment”. Because if I were the one who got the chance to answer the call, then I will say “we will definitely not extending our stay. And never to come again.” I decided to just use the bidet as shower so we can leave the place. I hope this will not happen to anybody. Their price doesnt justify the means. NEVER AGAIN! 😌"

"third or fourth time staying in this hotel and always satisfied. its rare to find a place in Cebu City with a bathtub and i like that they have it for all the room types we tried so far. the hairdrier wasnt working when we came though and there are some minor stains on the sheets, maybe because we checked in late at night. they should've been more prepared though. but despite this, overall experience was great."
